Pam, and the maintenance team (Jeremy and Billy) are phenomenal! From the time I moved in until now, everyone has been welcoming, helpful, patient, and quick to resolve any maintenance issues. I'm really glad I decided to move into The Lofts at Weston Lakeside!! From resident events (that I usually [unfortunately] can't attend because of work), to the amenities, to meeting friendly neighbors, I won't be leaving any time soon if I can help it!! Thank you Lofts at Weston Lakeside!!

I love my apartment! The location is perfect; close to everything, but tucked away for a quiet, serene setting. Pam & Amanda go above & beyond ensuring that the community is well-maintained & safe for all of the residents.

I really like and appreciate this Apartment Complex. It is not so big that there are so many residents. The office staff and the maintenance crew are incredible and have always been attentive. This is a second "home" to me but it what I like about Lofts of Weston Lakeside is that it is not all just the younger crowd. This is a mixed crowd of older and younger adults. Very pet-friendly with dog parks and areas to walk. For me the proximity to everything, most of which is within 20 minutes.

Nice amenities, great location, used to be a lot quieter and laid-back, but in the last few years there have been a lot more families with children move into the complex??..along with a lot more younger adults!

In the beginning the staff wasn't helpful or friendly. Starting in December or January the staff changed and they are very welcoming now. The apartments are quiet and clean. The hallways are spacious and bright.

Loved living here and have only had an issue with one manager but overall it has been great. We were flooded out of our unit at Weston Lakeside and. moved to the Lofts. It was traumatic, but we felt overall taken care of and are very happy in our new unit.

Mostly everything has been pretty good. Seen a lot of people originally there, like our leasing agent, leave and possibly move out. Which was disappointing and off putting. We also had a major leak in our ac that was finally caught after who knows how many months before we even moved in. It drove our energy bill at one point to nearly 310 dollars. They eventually came and fixed it a few months after we settled in. and our bill corrected. I would like to have a contact to email to send the bills, from when we started our lease and now do you can reimburse me. Thank you.

Forewarned is forearmed: Renter beware
I have been harassed by a neighboring tenant and the property management staff on his behalf. The leasing agent informed me the move in activity time frame is from 8am - 10pm. I moved in my belongings with the exception of bedroom and living room furniture on an early Saturday morning in July. I didn't stay in the apartment for the first week as I was in the process of ordering necessary furniture. The harassment began soon after my first day of occupancy. In August, within days of moving in, I received a phone call from a property manager informing me the neighbor underneath me has made a noise complaint indicating I was making excessive noise as I was moving in. He also proceeded to advise me to stop dropping items on the floor and the need to walk softer across the floor because I was causing excessive noise walking on the floor. I advised the property manager I had not been in the apartment since I moved in, as I was awaiting furniture deliveries and expressed confusion regarding moving in activity being construed as excessive noise considering I complied with moved in timeframe. The property manager disclosed to me the complaining tenant was informed I was a new tenant in the process of moving in. Taking into consideration what I had learned about the noise allegation, I purchased large rugs for each room and padded slippers to address the perceived noise issue and reduce the sound of my footsteps as I walk about my apartment. After several months of no engagement or notices from the property management staff regarding any other perceived excessive noise complaints, I believed the noise issue was resolved. To my surprise, I received two noise complaint violations in writing via email within less than 2 weeks of each other due to the playing of my Spanish language music. The first notice accused me of playing music between the hours of 10pm - 8am. I was asked to be considerate of the neighbors and keep the volume of music to a reasonable level during appropriate timeframes. I was never asked to discuss the matter or provide further context to the property management staff. My concerns didn't warrant a discussion, I was already deemed guilty of the infraction and penalized for it. The second notice was a final warning accusing me of causing excessive noise after receiving the first violation when playing my Spanish language music, for a few hours in the middle of the day on a weekend, as I moved furniture around to clean my apartment, as well as threaten me with legal actions. When I attempted to address my concerns and my perspective of the issue with the property management staff, I was met with resistance, dismissed and disregard, as if a rent paying tenant has no rights. There have been two different property management teams in the last seven months managing the property. Both property management teams failed to act in good faith and failed to mediate an amicable resolution between myself and the complaining tenant. Instead the property management staff chooses to address the matter via emails using warnings, threats and intimidation, as well as instigated further discord with complaining tenant by asserting personal point of views regarding the issue. The previous property management team dropped the ball on resolving the excessive noise complaints, so the new property management team is now overcompensating with their current course of actions. The new property management team has chosen to act solely on his complaints, as no other neighbors have leveled noise complaints against me, and sided with the complaining tenant without any engagement or discussion with me. All communications with the new property management team has been one sided and they have been uninterested in addressing any of my concerns as a tenant. The level of unprofessionalism and blatant disrespect I have experience here is the worst. I am being treated like I committed a crime over exaggerated noise complaints. I questioned the ethics of the property management staff when I was also a victim to the one month rent free bait and switch promotion by this property. My lease explicitly stipulates I was to receive a onetime base rent concession credit for the month of September. I discovered in the resident portal, the onetime base rent concession credit was not applied to my account. I called the property manager to discuss the matter. I was told the month free promotion was to be allocated as a monthly concession credit for the life of the lease instead of the onetime base rent concession credit. I pushed back on that statement based upon what my lease outlines and I was not advised there would be a change in the execution of the promotion by the property management staff. I requested confirmation from senior staff on whether the lease concession would be honored. The property manager would later inform me they would honor lease concession, however I paid the rent in full to be in compliance. The property management team promotes the month free as an incentive, but doesn't fully disclose how the promotion is executed to prospective tenants. The inconsistent messaging from the property management staff is not the best practice to exhibit when engaging a new tenant, as it creates distrust. It displays lack of character and integrity by the property management staff. As far as the maintenance of the grounds, some tenants with large dogs do not picking up their dog waste, dogs urinating in the only elevator in the building and it takes days before it is cleaned, the light fixtures throughout the development have gone the last couple of weeks requiring bulb replacement and broken door locks are serious safety issues not being addressed by the property management staff.

AY FAR AWAY Enjoy moldy wet hallways? Come on over. We can accommodate you with a moldy hvac system in your apartment. Like high electrical bills, your AC if working will run nonstop if set to 73 degrees in summer. Days of no AC last summer It’s REAL bad here. Stay away. Stoltz employee allows their dogs off leash and to swim freely in the swimming pool with other dogs. Dog poo on sidewalks , hallways and of grass. You better love barking dogs both all day and all night because this place has it and Stoltz doesn’t care! Edit- DONT listen to the “time of transition” Bologna that lofts always says to potential renters. It’s alllll lies. Same lies said to me 4 years ago as was to my friend that lived here 3 years prior and so many unhappy lofts renters. This place does NOT care about you and you will not be happy paying Luxury pricing for ------ results. No one that’s in mgmt here will give you their real name. Good luck with Wendy aka Lyndzi. 3+ years of construction. These low level subcontractors come in by the dozens daily and take alll prime parking spaces 6am -730pm! Plus you’ll find that they are generally rude and in supervised. Doors that are wedged tight and can’t be opened , FIRE Hazard! Doors simply don’t operate properly. You pay for safety but you get open doors to the buildings 24/7. Theft in the mail center since there is no AMAZON station everyone’s orders sit in an open hallway with unsecured building access. fREE FOR ALL!!!! My delivered items disappear monthly! Vehicles broken in to regularly yet crickets from mgmt! This happens many times yearly. Gym equipment always broken or missing due to theft. Add to that two of the three doors do not operate under code or key! Waste. Enjoy Green stagnant pools! Make a complaint about it and get zero response. Luxury lol I lost my job and a family member recently. This put me in a bad financial situation and yet Stoltz Ops Mgr Kennedy Miller showed zero empathy when I was late on rent 4 months straight (yet still paid it) . I’ve had to pay $1800 extra to Stoltz and Zero Cares Given by Stoltz or Kennedy or Kennedys boss to which I’ve emailed as well. In response to other people’s 1 star reviews they are all true. Believe none of the 4 star or higher . Plus, Stoltz 100% can have Google reviews removed as they responded to another renter stating they can’t. . Anyone can have Google reviews removed by disputing them .

There is good and bad with this community. Maintenance is AWESOME, things get fixed fast. Management is VERY friendly and kind. However, the residents do not really have much respect for this place as a home though. Glass bottles have been shattered in the parking lot and left for people/pets to tread over. The smell of weed is common outside the community and in the hallways at night. The doors, which are supposed to be locked for security, get left propped open overnight with rocks. Management does their best but nothing really gets done.

Being approved for the apartment was unnecessarily difficult. Once that process was completed, moving in was smooth. However, after a few months the renovations above my apartment was brutal. It flared my migraines and lasted at least 30 days? that was a big negative for me. The leasing office staff are ok but the change often so that doesn't help. Maintenance staff are great and responsive. I wish people cleaned up after their dogs more but I see the staff constantly cleaning the grounds.

Overall not the best experience. It's like pulling teeth to get the leasing office staff to address a noise issue I've been having since I moved in about six months ago. I've had to follow up constantly over the last few months to see if they have tried to resolve it. I would not recommend living here?

Practically zero transparency or communications from Stoltz/Lofts at Weston. Most emails go unanswered or take days for a convoluted response. I feel like safety with actual locking doors is why I moved here yet there are many non functioning non locking doors. My experience lately has been real bad. I have paid over $80,000.00 in rent in nearly four years. This year I have experienced financial difficulty and Lofts at Weston simply sends me a Summons to Court due to filing eviction. I've only been late three times in four years. How about some forgiveness???

The apartment has easy access to the interstate, airport, and shopping. Rooms are dated and maintenance is above average for timeliness to repair. Noise control and apartment entry safety is poor with non- or poorly functioning door entry systems. Turnover of office help is high. Apartments are close to many walking paths and large local park

i original move in Weston Lakeside Unit 3024 May 2013, left 2023, and returned 5/2023 to the lofts at weston Lakeside. Due to special accommodations I transferred back to original unit 3024 - October 2024. 3024 unit was renovated. but during the renovation some of the functionality was removed. the bar high 42" island was downgraded to the counterheight island which delete 4 electrical outlets, and remove the extended counter space backsplash. Now there is less counter space and electrical outlets for small appliance, canisters, etc. The washing machne agitator torn my one jacket and one tops during the laundry cycte. Perhaps a front load or washing machine without agitator, would not damage resident clothing. The ceiling light in the breezeway over the stairwell in out of service. There is a large water drain damage leak and plaster cracking and peeling. This is a safest concern. The are two more exterior lights fixture not working. There is NCDOT exterior lightpole which the bulbs need to be changed. The breezeway / stairwell need to be power washing especial since residents dogs relieving themselves accidentally. The grass directly in front of my patio needs to be replaced due to resident dog urination. A sign or warning need to be displayed. Please do not curb on you pets. Security is a major concerns, additional locks needs to be placed on units or alarm. There should be security cameras in the hallway and breezeway areas.

The apartment is nice, but small. Limited closet space. There is no failsafe for the "smart" locks - you have to get maintenance to change the batteries. No key!! Frustrating. Storage is overpriced. I do love it here, though. The location is amazing. Next to Lake Crabtree and Umstead = wonderful.

The location is great. The Loft apartment complex is very comfortable to live in, and their gym is newly built. But there can't be just positive things. Roaches are present and they are very hard to get rid of. The BBQ area looks cool but has no sink and to wash your hands you need to go inside the building. They are using small gas tanks for the grills and you find it empty quite often. To start the grill you have to crawl underneath to turn the timer on. That is a controversial decision.

Review of experience
When I first moved into the apartment complex, staff was really friendly, and the apartment felt like home. Recently, there has been a frequent and high amount of staff turnover which makes it difficult to know who to contact for assistance. Currently, this apartment complex is offering older residents 4-5-6 month leases in efforts to get them to move into other units with the goal of renovating their current apartment to place up for sale at a higher rate. Older residents are not receiving any notices other than just their renewal offer with short lease terms. This apartment complex also does not care to help resolve resident-resident conflict and when you complain and seek assistance, they do the bare minimum with interference, close to nothing. The staff that is higher up is hard to get in contact with and will avoid reaching back out to resolve residents' conflicts, answer questions, or unresolved inquiries which makes you feel unseen and cared for. A very sad case when you are paying so much of your hard-earned money to the management company. The standards of this place have gone downhill extremely. The surrounding area is beautiful but if you are looking for A+ or event a B-customer service from management and sincere care for the residential experience, I do not recommend this complex.

Community is not as clean as I would prefer or used to. Pool was very dirty was was green. grill area was dirty as well. Just not up to my standards. There is no actives like I used told would happen, when I first moved in. Apartment always has something wrong with it. Lights flickering or just popping on when ever they please. I gave up on reaching out to maintenance, as they can never seem to fix the problem.

I moved to this property 6 months ago. I really appreciate how clean and well maintained the building and grounds are. Any maintenance needs I've had have been quickly resolved. Staff is friendly and approachable. Spacious and well laid out floor plans. Neighbors are respectful and overall the community has been very peaceful. Close proximity to the lake, trails, and RDU make this an excellent location.

I have been living here since June 2022. It is a very nice and quiet area, and most neighbors and staff are friendly. However, since the change in management, I have experienced micro-aggressions that may or may not be intentional. I work full-time and, when my social life is busy, I am only home to sleep and eat. I typically park between the two buildings because it provides closer access to the elevator, which is convenient when I have a lot to carry. Because of my infrequent presence in the common areas, the staff may not be familiar with me. In February, I was asked to remove my balcony's privacy screen within 24 hours because "we take pride in the upkeep and uniformity of our community." The screen is made of faux green ivy leaves, and I was informed that privacy screens of any color are not allowed. However, it is now the end of June, and several balconies still have privacy screens. Whenever I encounter the leasing staff, one particular gentleman gives me strange looks. Regardless of where I am on the property, I receive prolonged stares and I am never greeted as I was by the previous staff. This behavior, whether due to racism or discrimination, creates an environment where I do not feel safe. I assume that I do not meet their resident aesthetic standards. I understand that the media often perpetuates stereotypes of minorities, and when individuals do not conform to these stereotypes, it can be perceived as a threat to those with privilege and entitlement. This situation has significantly impacted my sense of comfort and belonging within the community. I believe that all residents should be treated with respect and fairness, regardless of their appearance or how often they are seen around the property. Working in corporate America requires me to mask who I am for 40 hours a week, constantly navigating a professional environment where I may not feel entirely accepted or understood. Given this, it is crucial for me to feel safe and comfortable in my own home. Home should be a place of refuge where I can be myself without fear of judgment or discrimination. I would appreciate it if the management could address these concerns and ensure that all staff members are trained to interact with residents in a respectful and non-discriminatory manner. Additionally, it would be helpful to have clear and consistent enforcement of community rules, such as the policy on privacy screens, to avoid any perception of bias or unfair treatment.

Overall, the complex is nice and they are making progress on making it better. However, they are slow to complete community projects. Normally they are also late opening the pool for the summer season, which can be annoying. It seems like they have good ideas, but are not the best at execution.

Stay away
We have lived here since 2020. Our experience had been mostly good (love the apartment itself and lake/location), but recent developments warrants a one star. I agree with all others about the dog poop in elevator, constant construction, low parking availability, general wear and tear on the interior that is not maintained well, random very loud fire alarms going off/ being tested without notice, elevator frequently out of order, cockroaches. None of this had super irked me to the point of moving out. however, we are in the process of leaving now due to dealings with staff. There was a change in management around late 2023, and the new staff is wildly incompetent. We have lived in 3 separate units while here. Our 2nd unit, our downstairs neighbor played very loud guitar and singing at all hours of day, so excessively it could be heard all along the hallway. Management was not able or willing to ask him to stop, and they were also not willing to waive a unit transfer fee for us ($750). In Jan 2024, my spouse and I had signed a lease renewal. For some reason, only my spouses signature registered on the lease, and mine did not register on their end, despite us having both having signed it. Because of this, we were *without notice* put on month to month, which is an extra $500/month, to date now an excess of $1600 total in erroneous charges in addition to our already very overpriced base rent ($2100). I found this out from my bank statements, I did not get notice from lofts. When my spouse and I attempted to call, email, and go in person to attempt to problem solve, we were completely ignored by staff for a period of over two months and counting. Not a single sent email back to dozens of emails. Not a single phone call returned to dozens of calls. When we talked to someone in person, we got dismissive “oh yeah, we will ask upper management” from Brian with no action on this. I’ve never dealt with such blatant disregard, it’s been infuriating to attempt to civilly problem solve, and to be ignored. We will be moving out. I recommend you steer very clear of this residence.

I enjoy my apartment, but have issues with the complex as a whole. The complex feels like a construction zone 24/7. Elevator is gross (floor padding is wet and dirty) and it seems to break at least 1-2 times per month. The common areas in building 1000 really need some TLC. Paint is missing from walls, carpet has been dirty for over a year.
