The apartment is listed as a luxury apartment, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Dogs bark all day in the buildings, and with very thin walls and floors, the noise carries throughout. There have been numerous instances where maintenance staff has stolen tenant's property. There is a revolving door of office workers so you never know who you're going to get. Any complaints brought to the office will result in them judging and shaming you. Avoid at all cost.

Ideal location. Residents are respectful and cordial. High turnover rate in management. Too much dog waste on the property. Dog park unkept & filled with dog waste. Balcony floor corners are cracking; concerned about structure. My dishwasher never worked. No filter replacement for my refrigerator. Apartment doors need painting.

I have loved living here because it is a smaller complex located on the edge of Lake Crabtree. The location is close to I-40 and also RDU. Very convenient location. The smaller size unit just feels better and makes it easier to make friends with neighbors. It is a very dog friendly community which I enjoy. Most people know how to manage their dogs and know the correct etiquette. It hasn't been cared for by owners in the last 3 years but if they invested in caring for it - the Lofts is a perfect small apartment living community in a beautiful, quiet, conventient location in Cary NC.

Quiet area with lots around for essential living. Great upkeep in apartment complex and great location. Been living in this area for 3 years and some change and haven't had any issues yet. Would recommend this area.

I really like this place - the location can't be beat!! Love being next door to the parks - the lake and sunsets here are beautiful. Miles of connected trails for biking and hiking in your back yard. The staff is awesome - everyone pitched in and supported me through all phases of this transition. I can't thank them enough for all of their help!

Nice units, close to the Greenway and Hwy 40. Terrific amenities such as the gym, pool, and both indoor and outdoor lounge areas. Feel safe at all times. Very little noise. Nice office staff and prompt maintenance crew.

Experience has been ok. Maintenance has always been helpful with getting things fixed in my house. I wish they upgrades around the community where completed in a more timely manor. The front door entrance is supposed to have a call box from what I was told but still does not exist and do not feel very secure if same code is used by everyone.

Excellent community to enjoy. Maintenance is always responsive, kind and helpful. Elevators has been working without any problems during my whole stay. Clean hallways, amazing smell at the entrance on the first floor. Amazon and all type of packages are delivered near the mail room or at door step without any issues. Clean and well maintained gym.

Pretty good experience overall. Community is pretty quiet and respectful. Had a leak in my old apartment but the new staff made it right. Side door in Building 1000 has been broken for awhile though. Would be nice if that got fixed.

I was very impressed with the staff in the office particularly Bryan who showed us around the grounds and shared mini pertinent details about the apartment complex and the unit. I felt that if I ever needed anything, the office management would be helpful to resolve any issues. The property is just beautiful and a wonderful place to live. I love the proximity to the Greenway and lake, and the fact that you can borrow bikes. It felt very safe being away from a main thoroughfare.

Inept front office
The price is overpriced for the unmaintained amenities and the inept front office. Took over a month for the front office to complete my lease renewal. The front office is also hyper focused on ‘updating’ amenities instead of fixing current broken ones.

The leasing office staff were very helpful and responsive during the leasing process. Move in went very smoothly and they helped with telling us the easiest way to get our stuff moved in. Unit was in good condition at move in and maintenance quickly attended to the small issues that were present (replacing water filter, etc.). The community is very nice, in a great location, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment!

Only been here a short time but so far it's been great. It's more quiet than the city, right next to Lake Crabtree and Umstead park so if you're looking to stay active this is a good place to be for sure.

It's a great community and I love living here. Cary is a beautiful city. Have nice shopping centers and groceries stores,Whole Foods Stores and Fresh Market place, walking trail , and many other beautiful restaurants and places to go.

Just Like Home
I hate apartments. However thew folks at the Lofts made you feel at home the moment we arrived. We lived there for 3 years until we purchased a house. My only complaint was the rent kept going up. The staff in the office and the maintenance were top shelf! Any issue was addressed and taken care of immediately. We had a first floor 2 bedroom witha view of the lake. Sunsets on the deck made many nights more enjoyable! Enjoy your stay.

I have lived here about 3 years and have been very pleased with my experience. The apartment itself is completely new and up to date with wood floors and top of the line appliances in the kitchen. Because it's new and built correctly I never hear my neighbors. The staff run everything great and it's always clean and there is always something going on like food trucks every week. My favorite part is the lake because I can see it from my deck and it's nice for walking around. All and all very happy with my decision to live here in this peaceful place by the lake and would not change a thing.

if you like to hear your neighbors moaning, showering, flushing toilets, playing fetch with pets then this is the best apartment.. enjoy your stay...i lived in many apartments but this apartment is worst noise quality..

The Lofts has been an enjoyable place to call home for the past several months. The location is nice (close to everywhere in the triangle) and proximity to Umstead and other trails is fantastic. The amenities are nice too - big gym, salt water pool, rooftop deck overlooking the lake (sometimes looks like a mud puddle), and a large resident lounge/club house area with several tvs, a pool table, and shuffleboard table. During football season or big sports events you can usually find a group of people watching the game. The weekly food trucks also seem to be a hit. In terms of fellow residents, a significant majority are friendly young professionals that are at work during the day and enjoy spending time together on the weekends. There are not many families or a park for the kids so not an ideal spot to move if you have kids. As for the noise level, my experience has been that you hear the people above you walking around but I've never heard my next door neighbors. Even though many people out here do fit that young professional category it seems like everyone takes responsibility to make sure they are respectful of neighbors. If you are a dog owner/lover this place is great. Between the trails, two dog parks, and plenty of friendly dogs the community will be a great home for the four legged family members. If you don't like dogs you probably won't enjoy living here because there are so many of them. My biggest complaint I have is the lack of call box outside which means that whenever guest come over I have to go let them in. It seems like this complaint has been raised in the past but always gets shut down. There are a few other small things that could be different but at the end of the day this is a rental community and while for the price I do expect things to be great, expecting perfection is unrealistic.

The grills by the pool are filthy and the propane tanks are empty by Sunday afternoon. The tables are dusty and covered in pollen. The trash compactor area is never clean or swept out and often has large pieces of furniture blocking the receptacles. There is so much dog poo on the ground you can actually smell it when you walk by. Oh the door to the sun deck is broken. That's all I have to say.

The new staff are horrible. They're rude, unresponsive and every interaction I have had with them since they took over has been stressful. The buildings are no longer being maintained like they were. The halls are filthy and despite there being a MURDER on the property over the holidays, there has been zero effort to increase security. They advertise secure buildings, but some of the doors are broken - and have yet to be repaired. There aren't trash shoots or multiple elevators which makes simple things like taking out the trash and getting groceries into the place a tremendous undertaking. I've had packages stolen from my door step. The grounds always have dog droppings. The noise level on the pool side is distracting. It's clearly not safe. The maintenance staff say they fix things that are not. The manager and assistant are discourteous, ill mannered and impolite. They either hate their jobs or enjoy being jerks. I pay good money to live in a 'nice' place and would appreciate a little respect from those taking my checks. I would have recommended this place before the new management took over - but now I definitely would not. Despite the location and proximity to Umstead State park, in wouldn't recommend this overpriced dump to anyone. It's not worth the frustration. I give it one star overall. I can't wait to move.

This place has gone down hill since Fairfield Mgmt took over. This property was well maintained by the prior management and now the interior & exterior parts of the buildings are no longer as clean as they used to be. The new property manager ------- isn't very flexible and doesn't make you feel welcomed. The leasing agent -------- seems to always come across liked she completely annoyed when anything is asked of her. The prior office and maintenance team were a lot more friendly and accommodating than this new Fairfield bunch. The rent increases this year were also outrageous going up more than 13 percent, most places are around 3 percent. Many folks seeing their rent go up more than $100 dollars. This is a beautiful property but not worth the rent increases and poor customer service.
