Nice clean new space with a great location. Pet friendly with other amenities such as pool and gym. Friendly staff and home to people of all ages. Plenty of space for parking and car kept from the elements

We are so excited that we found Berkshire Cameron Village! Our main goal was to find a place that we could find many things to do nearby. Berkshire is a perfect option since it is located in the heart of Cameron Village. The Assistant Property Manager Carla Reed, Property Manager Megan Glenister along with Austin have provided nothing short of EXCELLENT customer service! What a beautiful property that is perfect for calling home.

The apartment is nice, but the appliances have not held up well. I have only lived their for 9 months, and I live alone without children or pets. I am light handed and very clean, so I do not know why my appliances seem to be wearing out so quickly.

Beautiful place within walking distance to so many things! Resort living at its best. The fire alarm has unfortunately gone off too many times for false reasons though tainting my view of this otherwise fabulous apartment.

The apartments and building looks nice, but after living here you learn that things aren't always as they appear. Noise from surrounding units is surprising given newer construction. For the amount of rent paid we would expect better maintenance of common areas and attention to service requests.

The builders clearly cut corners that the inspectors failed to notice because the building has multiple structural issues. The management company that bought it from the builders have no interest whatsoever in resolving those issues and it is reflected in their terrible attitude towards the residents. This is lovely building with pretty units in a great part of town that is poorly built and poorly managed.

Great location. There is no full-time maintenance staff; hasn't been for months, and the third party doing maintenance is not getting the job done. Dirty carpets, walkways, elevators, parking areas; very slow to fix security gates; maintenance requests are closed out without being completed. The landscaping vendor does a great job. Lots of college kids renting here makes for recurring loud parties, arguments, drunks in the parking and common areas. Have had to call the police several times.

I've loved living here. It is by far the nicest building in Cameron Village that I have been to/viewed with great amenities and only a short 1/2 minute walk to grocery shopping, bars and restaurants. The staff have resolved any issues I've had quickly and efficiently which makes my life much easier. As far as renting goes, I wouldn't live anywhere else in Raleigh.

I have enjoyed living in my lovely one bedroom apartment at the Berkshire very much! There have been numerous issues that we have had to deal with as tenants but the building and the location and the staff have been wonderful. The location could not be better, and I love being able to walk to downtown Raleigh!

Very convenient location and also very clean. The mail and package service is also a great plus. The pool with the picnic area is very nice. I also enjoy the gym and the so convenient shopping and restaurants around Cameron village.

I've lived at Berkshire Cameron Village since Jan '16. The location is great, with most of my day-to-day shopping within walking distance. Staff has been responsive, accommodating, and pleasant. The 1 service request I had (minor issue w/ new construction) was resolved <24 hrs. Amenities and shared spaces are top-notch. No more noise than you'd expect in any other apt building. Lots of nice apts and neighborhoods in Raleigh, but here are the reasons I plan on renewing my lease for another year: community events, outstanding customer service from leasing staff, the fine touches (package delivery, trash concierge, etc.) that just make living here easy. Strongly recommend.

I've been living at the Berkshire for about 1,5 years, and have loved my experience so far. The amenities are awesome, there location is fantastic and the staff super helpful! A major plus has been the events the staff puts together - it's a great way to meet your neighbors, and build community within the building!

This is a great team of friendly people who wish to help you get into the apartment you want. Every concern has been directly addressed promptly and kindly. I am super excited about the anticipated dog park being designed as well. The atmosphere here is great, too.

Moved in almost a year ago. Love living in Berkshire. Love living right in the middle of Cameroon village, being closer to downtown and having a great view of busy life from our patio. The staff are professional and polite. Apartment looks great. Have had many people over as guests for dinner who loved it here. Have recommended it to friends. Had a smooth living experience. Great place.

Overall beautiful complex and great sense of community. Everyone that lives here is friendly, respectful and presentable. The rent is very overpriced and I am unsure if management will lock me into my current rate if I choose to renew. Only complaints are issues from staff not responding to concerns in timely manner/ responding at all.

Live in luxury and never sleep! The fire alarms go off all of the time in the middle of the night. It's terrible. On the bright side, the apartments are top-notch and the complex is very nice, overall. There are also some great amenities here: the free coffee is AMAZING, the pool is nice and the demo kitchen is really cool. There are also regular free resident events that are really fun (especially the wine tastings). Overall, I would give BCV 5 stars if it were not for the fire alarms, but they happen SO frequently, I can't give it more than 2.

I would not recommend this apartment complex. The alarm system has gone off in the middle of the night multiple times in the past two months at 1am/2am in the morning for longer than 30 minutes. When there is actually a real problem people are going to just ignore it. The elevators are slow, the pool is too small for the amount of residents and it is just too expensive to live in a place like this when they cannot get simple things correct with your lease and billing information. The only plus is the free coffee and location.

Poor overall. Really slow elevators, non stop fire drills, AC does not function properly - cheap appliances, poor insulation means a lot of noise from neighbors, bad tenants, lot of young kids - feels like a college dorm, not really pet friendly.

Generally good. The location and safety are the first reasons why I live in here - perfect. The office staff were wonderful before they got changed - I miss Victoria, she was always helpful, warm and hospitable. Please see my comments in precious pages for problems.

Beautiful apartments. The only complaint is the fire alarms keep going off. Also, I moved in when there were refreshments in the lobby and now they're gone. We pay a lot, it would be nice to get that back. Other than that the area is beautiful and clean.

It has really not been a good experience living here. The location is great which is why we have continued to live here, but the building has problems with management and is not well maintained or secure. Maintenance people show up and do not knock and just key in. They should call first - now there are so many kids it is like a college dorm
