Worst property??
I do not recommend this property. I have lived here for almost three years. The first two years were okay, with only a couple issues such as having no heat for a week! but after moving to a larger apartment, our experience worsened significantly. Since December, we have been dealing with a mice infestation that has not been properly resolved. We have found multiple mice in the apartment and caught several more over time. There were brief periods when the problem seemed under control, but it returned, which shows that the issues were never fully addressed. This situation has been extremely stressful, especially with young kids in the apartment. A safe and clean living environment is very important, and unfortunately, this has not been our experience. Additionally, the laundry facilities are in poor condition. The machines often don’t work properly, which is frustrating when paying to use them. If you are considering moving here, I strongly suggest thinking carefully. A home should feel safe, clean, and properly maintained, and this property has not met that standard.

RENTER BEWARE!!! If you have any respect for yourself and your family/friends DO NOT move here!!! I waited quite some time after I was essentially forced to move out of this place (my choice to break the lease and leave prematurely) due to the absolute horrid living conditions I experienced at Zachary Arms. My first year there was rather pleasant, mostly due to the very accommodating office staff at the time, however, there were many red flags that I probably should have paid closer attention to. Such as, seeing several tenants being removed by the police in handcuffs - Not exactly something to put your mind at ease. As a matter of fact, the police were almost always on the premesis, which I considered somewhat reassuring. Little did I know, they were usually not there as just a safety measure, but rather for the insane amount of crime (break-ins, property damage, theft), gang activity, and domestic disputes. Over the next few years as a tenant, Zachary Arms had completely degraded. The office and management staff (which had changed countless times - for the worse), what they lack in competency is made up for in unabashed disrespect and ignorance. But it wasn't so much the DRUNK maintenance man showing up when I called for what smelled like a possible gas leak, or that he tried to force his way back into my apartment after he had already inspected it, or the fact that they "lost my lease" when they tried to get me to pay $600 for my two cats when, in the lease, I was allowed to have them, or even the young couple that lived below me that would get into violent screaming matches at all hours of the day and night - It wasn't so much for those reasons that I terminated my lease, it was for the constant harassment by not only a new tenant that moved in below me, but also harassment from the management staff. Just so you know, in the state of New Jersey, as a tenant in any apartment you have certain rights. You are, BY LAW, entitled to the Covenant of Quiet enjoyment - In other words, you are entitled to live peacefully and without harassment at your place of residence. Apparently, Zachary Arms forgot about that one - Within the last few months of residing there, the police showed up FOUR TIMES at all hours of the very early morning because of "noise complaints", yet every time I opened the door for them, I was coming out of a deep sleep, which they were very much understanding and apologetic of. Needless to say, every time they showed up, there was nothing found. When this was addressed with the management on how to best resolve this issue, I was told countless times by the cantankerous woman in the office, that they do not get involved in tenant matters and the only option is to file a harassment complaint with the police. Ironically enough, for someone who so staunchly stated that she does not get involved in tenant matters was then harassing me by a barrage of phone calls throughout the day, stating that the completely miserable tenant below me was calling to complain about me - Keep in mind, I work over 50 hours a week and was rarely home. At this point, I did not even want to be there more than I had to, so I was working very late just so I could come home and go to bed. And to be completely honest, that is all I did other than live in fear that I would be woken up by the police banging on my door. I tried so hard to stick it out for the rest of my lease, but eventually, it got to an unbearable point, to the point where I actually felt unsafe and was being threatened by my neighbor (to "send someone up to my apartment to teach me a lesson"), of whom I had never even spoken a word to prior or during all of this. I ended up having to take my neighbor to court for all of this harassment (she did this so often that I actually had two friends witness it) and despite all of the anguish and complete inconvenience of it all, the upper management, 1.) refused to speak with me despite countless calls and legal letters written and 2.) refused to excuse me from the remainder of my lease because I felt unsafe. The "best" they could do was move me to an apartment across the street! Very long story short, I moved out of there anyway (my nightmare of a neighbor still called the cops on the day I moved all of my stuff out) and it was a long, arduous and completely unnecessary process through the court system which eventually resulted in absolutely nothing. Had it just been taken care of by management in the first place, I probably would have just stuck it out for the last few months. But trust me, it was in no way worth the strife. If you got to the end of this, I hope it swayed any interest away from moving to this literal hell on earth. I don't know you, but I care, and I firmly believe that no one should ever have to go through that.

Absolutely hate this place!! And it has gotten worse through out the years. Not kid friendly at all. They are not allowed to play on the grass or keep their bikes next to the aparments. We got letter threatening they will throw out any kid bikes or cars if found outside next to your aparment. The laundry is always dirty and machines often don't work and you end up losing your money. The aparments have no type of upgrade cheap fixtures they put dirty refrigerators and stove when you move in. Other places you get everything brand new. maintance does a lousy sloppy job. Oh and let's not forget about the the creepy crawlers no matter how clean you are and neat you keep your apartment it will become infested with roaches..those buildings need a major updating..Kathy the manager does not care about anything. And now they will be charging for water . Place is overall a complete dump. Do not recommend it at all. Can't wait till my lease ends to move.

Worst place to live in all of yardville! HERES EVERYTHING WRONG IVE SEEN IN 19 YEARS: First My neighbors and I received threatening letters from management about throwing regular garbage in the recycling, but they refuse to send someone to open the dumpsters and Were refusing to touch it ourselves. Another thing, they won't let the kids get picked up for school in the parking lot anymore, they told them to go wait on the edge of the street. The residents don't like to share washing machines, so instead of doing 3 loads in the big machine, they use 3-4 small ones. The owners obnoxiously let the fire alarm go off whenever. There's no fire or danger but it goes off for hours at a time any time of the day. Once when I was younger I was told we weren't allowed to have any guests in the complex. Like no visitors whatsoever. We've also been yelled at because when it's windy, garbage blows into our lawn and the management wants us to clean it up. My neighbors like to yell a lot, and all of the walls are paper thin. And not to mention they yell at kids for playing in the grass, and locked the only play area the kids had. They took away our mail boxes and gave us a unit to go to where there is no room to park. And to top it off, in the summer there are skunks EVERYWHERE.

MOVE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! It is invested with ants and cats. The garbage is collected whenever the company feels like picking it up. Parking is limited. If you arrive home after 9:00pm you will have to park in a non-parking area. Maintenance and grounds employees are a joke. Upkeep and landscaping is never done on a regular basis. Outdoor lighting is poor. Maintenance does not fix problems correctly. The laundry facility is always dirty and the upkeep of the machines are poor. Often, the machines dont work and you end up losing your money. You can only pay your rent via money order, which is inconvenient. Kathy (Manager) is rude and ignorant and could care less about your issues concerning the apartment. Beata on the other hands tries her best to help. I havent moved yet because I am currently getting my credit together. But boy I cant wait until I can!!!!!!!!!!

I got to say its a very nice apartment a bit small but its cheap rent. the manager Beata is really great she gets things done. the laundry mat is not that bad theres trash on the floor but its not overwhelming. kids are allover the complex during the hot months they will drive you crazy. if it wasn't for the ROACHES in that place I would've stayed but I cant live with creepy crawlers the entire building was treated by a exterminator so that's a major problem the bugs spiders roaches and misallanious bugs you will find in the summer months crawling in your tub. the heating in the winter is turned on at a certain time at their discretion so make sure you have a portable heater if you plan on moving here because your are sure to freeze. park at your own risk a few cars have been hits and runs and no camera's are installed in the lots.

So I needed to get out of the immediate city limits and this apartment was within my budget. It is a very nice one bedroom for my son and I. While he is still under 5 it works. The notice level is great my neighbors are perfect. The grounds are kept and there are no bugs. I must say I was skeptical but glad I moved here. It is very pleasant for what I need and affordable so money can be saved, it won't break your pockets.

I honestly do not reccommend moving into this complex. I thought this would be a great apartment because the surrounding area is nice, but the actual apartments are not the same. I do not feel safe living in this complex and cannot wait until my lease is up. Continue your search, I was not able to locate reviews at the time of my move 8 months ago.

I lived there nearly 6 years and most of the going was rough. Indifference to problems was standard policy. However, when Beata became office manager last year_ tenant issues were somewhat quickly resolved. She is a true professional and provides the tenants a route to obtain needed repairs and help. Nevertheless, Eagle Rock is a roll of the dice because of its loose governance of people who are life-long residents there and openly rule the complex__thus making Eagle Rock a shaky choice at best. Renter Beware!

I agree with previous remarks about the bad condition of Eagle Rock Apartments. The landscape is not maintained and therefore deappreciated. Management is corrupt, rude, and uncaring of tenants concerns and issues. Property maintanance is practically non-existant and if repairs are done, it is less than satisfactory. Never had problems with roaches, but heard neighbors complain about roach and bed bug infestations. Black mold, non-insulated walls, creaking and old wooden floors, excessive noise, heating (too hot or too cold) is another major problem. Neighbors are inconsidered, noisy, belligerent, ------, and trashy. Neighbors often party until 2 a.m. in the morning and allow their children to run the streets who are often disrespectful, rude and also belligerent. Too often, you will find trash thrown and spread all over the property. Very attractive I might add. All in all, you are better off living in Trenton.

Horrible !!!! I would never Recommend this place!
There are to many issues with how this property is even run. Office staff could care less or even understand if you have a question that needs to be answered. To be honest I don't think they are ever on the property to even run it. The parking lots look like hell as well as the walk ways. The buildings need to be updated as you can hear everything. Wall and floors are to thin. There are to many shady people in the area. Stray cats everywhere. Roaches are an issue. Unless your ------ and ready to put up with the issues in this complex I would suggest you look else where.

some good and some bad
I would definitely recommend this apartment to a person who is easy-going and do not get upset very quickly. To say the place is infested with bugs is a huge exageration. Stray cats are not only here, they are everywhere in this world. Yes, kids make lots of noise outside in the summer, but that is everywhere too. The dumpsters look messy because people are lazy and toss the trash on the ground next to the dumpster rather than in it. I dont like that there is no recycling. Isnt everywhere going green except us? Maintenance does come when you call, but it takes several trips to get it right. The manager needs to learn some respect when speaking to tenants. The reason I dont want to leave is because of the spaciousness. Lots of kitchen cabinets, 6 closets in a 1-bedroom, large kitchen counter space for cooking, brand new sliding windows in every room. There is good and bad. But there is good and bad everywhere.

What a ---- hole
My wife and I lived here for several years. This place is great if you don't mind the horrible condition of pretty much everything and the shady characters who are your neighbors. In my tenure at Eagle Rock I have seen everything from fireworks being shot from the porches and stray cats to folks being arrested and evicted. There is also a influx of people from Trenton moving in so I can image that the place will only get worse. Regarding the condition of the apts themselves, on my first day of living here the lamp on the ceiling actually fell and broke on my head! The office of course was in different to it and it took quite a while(1 month) to be repaired. The walls are terribly spackled and painted and the doors are coming apart. Our upstairs neighbors pipes rattled so bad it could shake the house. The whole building is infested with bugs and roaches, you will need a year supply of raid. The heating is very bad in the winter and the apts are not insulated well to hold AC in the summer. They only cut the grass once a month and out of the 5 shrubs in our courtyard there are none that are still remotely healthy or green. In the winter be ready to be snowed in for hours as they have the worst snow removal service provider. I have personally been plowed in several times by these trucks. Our front door was also kicked in and there is a huge black stain in the livingroom hardwood floors. One final note is that my wife's car was spray painted a year ago and again the management could care less about it.

I've lived in Eagle Rock apartments for 2yrs and Maintainance is sorry, Front desk is sorry, upgraded apartment sorrry. Quite frankly if i knew better i'd do better Lived near the sewer n it I remember it was clogged up wit god no's what and a mnth later when they fixed the sewer a strong stinch started to rome my apartment through the pipes and i had just had a baby. The term for it is sewer gas it's harm to in hale, contact with eyes , and skin. And when i mentioned this to the office was told to only pour hot water dwn the drain and this was a sure fire way to get rid of the odor.. IF YOU TREASURE YOUR LIFE STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! signed: An angry tenant

too many problems, no thanks
I lived there 3 years in 2 places. My first one was infested w/ ants...in the electrical sockets, my draweres, from the windows, from the drain, im serious. no exaggerating..We never got rid of them. I complained until i finally got put in another apartment which was much better.. until my heat stopped working and i called the board of health. The walls are paper thin, woke up a couple times with mainenance barging in..The one thing i remember most besides the ants is the amount of cops that were there at all hours. Spotlighting, there were a few raids... but every couple hours there were a cop car or two driving through. Maybe its gotten better, i dont know, but id have to say all in all, not so great. But the rent is cheap.

Keep away,
When we visited this apartment complex we were shown a beautiful newly renovated unit and told we were going to be getting the same thing. When we moved in the unit they gave us was a disaster. The hard wood floor had grass and a boot print under the varnish. The paint on the walls is terrible with dozens of poorly patched holes. The bathroom and kitchen could not have been updated any time in the last four years. The parking lot is littered with broken down cars and ownerless boats. ANTS. The laundry on site is so bad you might as well forget about it and go off-site. Wild cats roam at will. Just keep away if you can.

horrible
Let me start off by saying that this place is not worth your time or money. I lived here for several years in a 1 bedroom apt. I recently upgraded to a 2 bdrm apt that was the worse thing that I could have done in my life. I was not even residing in the apt for over 2 weeks. I was in the hospital having a baby and when I returned home my apt stunk so bad only to find out that they gave me a bad fridge so all of my food went bad. I reported this to the owner who advised me that that is what renters insurance is for. I had to go through a long process just for them to reimburse me for the food that I lost out on. Several weeks later I called into the office to advise them of the feces that I had in my bathtub. One of the maintenance workers told me that it was not his job to clean that up. I had to tell them that I was calling dept of health on them for them to come out and clean up the mess. Not to mention the fact that I have nothing but roaches in the apt. They are everywhere you would think that they are leasing to. My water is always rusty. my cabinets are old as hell and the paint job is horrible, not to mention the tiles that are on the bathroom floor. I think that everyone there should just either come up with a petition so that things will be fixed or just simply do not move there and if you are there then move out this is worth breaking your lease over. The maintenance workers are horrible, some are pervs, some are racists and some are just down right nasty. You also have some that wait at the bus stop to watch the little kids go and get out of school. The only thing I can say is beware do not move here you will be sorry.
