SUCKS!!! Way too expensive!
Way too expensive for what you get. Lots of retired people around who call police when they hear any noise. Pool is always filled with kids ( 3yrs old - 10yrs old ). Parking sucks. Staff is very rude. READ YOUR LEASE... THEY SLIP LOTS OF BS INTO THE LEASE. Charge you for leaving a bag of trash on your door step ($25). Don't make the mistake because the apartments are nice on the eyes you will pay in the end. Wish you better luck in your search than I had.

Great Place to Call Home
I lived at Crown Ridge for about a year and a half. The only reason I moved was because I bought a House. I've had absolutely no problems with Management, Maintenence, and everything that was promised was received. There was never a problem with noise but I guess that also depends on where your located on property. And my lease cleary stayed quite time was between 10p.m. - 6 a.m. And as far as pest, My apartment got sprayed every other month. I guess it just depends also on weather or not you are a cleanly person. The Lady's in the office were always polite and very helpful. Maintenence fixed things great and in a timely manner. I would move back if I didn't now own a home.

Stay away! (bad management)
The apartments are relatively new and no mechanical problems--hopefully, you won't have any problems. However, the office staff are rude and two face. They hated their jobs or something. I guess, it comes down to how much money they're making. I don't usually look down on people because of what they do for a living, but these two women deserved to work in that Toillet. When I moved in, they wouldn't let me filled out my own "move-in" sheet, they got it completed without my agreements. After moving into my unit, I've found more problems and wanted to put that down on my move-in agreement and that "-------girl" ------- gave me a really nasty look as just like I've just done something bad to her or to someone else that she cares deeply about. I took pictures of everything just so that I have proof of evidence. Anyway, they were very nice and cooperative until you've signed your lease and moved in. That's when they started to show their true colors. They will lied, give you an attitude, and refuse to cooperate in resolving the problems that you have encountered while living in their apartments. I wouldn't even recommended these apartments to my worst enemies. If you don't mind living in a noisy community full of kids, pets, dirty neighbors and pest infested apartments then go right ahead. They should turn these apartments into a section 8 community. It's so loud that I can't even study in my own apartment. I am moving out as soon as my lease is up. BTW, don't listen to all the "Craps" that they tell you about SERVICES being offered to residents. They're there just to make the apartments sound luxury and top-notch, they're not really there for you to use. I can'y wait to move out of this hell-hole.

Pros: 1) Pretty new place (I think 2 years now) so there aren't HUGE maintenance problems. 2) Full size washer and dryer, full size dishwasher, large microwave, refrigerator, all new. 3) Nice size and spacious floorplan (I had the 2bed 2bath, 912 sq ft). 4) Kid friendly, has swings and such. 5) Good area, I've always felt safe. Cons: 1) VERY thin walls and ceilings. If you live on the first floor you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on above you, including people using the bathroom (and I don't mean flushing). 2) More expensive than many others for the size. 3) Only 1 trash compactor at the very back of the complex. 4) Doors (mine at least) NOT airtight, which raises energy bills. Because I haven't had to deal much with maintenance or management, I can't give a very detailed description, but I never had a problem with either, except that sometimes there was nobody in the office or it was locked during office hours. Sometimes people leave their dogs messes on the lawn and no one would pick it up for weeks. On the outskirts of Norman, the area is quieter than most, but you're still right off H9 so there is easy access to the rest of the town. Overall a nice place to live, if a bit expensive. I would resign if I was staying in the area.

Good apartment.
I was transferred here, and rented the apartment unseen. Luckily I was on the 2nd floor. I've never been awoken by noise from other apartments. Apartments are clean, neat, etc. Pool is not cleaned as often as it should be in winter months, but I can understand. Maintenance is quick and thorough. Appliances are new and work. I did have a problem with hot water, and A/C was noisy. They have old thermostats, so recommend purchasing a new programmable thermostat. Washer and Dryer works very well, and are full size. Dishwasher is the best I've ever had in an apartment. Complex is very safe, always left Jeep unlocked, and never had anything missing.

I lived here for a year. The complex is nice and in a safe area, but its not worth what the rent. The water pressure sucks, there is never hot water and you can hear right through the walls. Most of all the staff is horrible!!!

The apartments themselves are nice. The staff, with the exception of the Maintenance is a joke. Moved in the summer of 2005 when the apartments were brand new. Went 3 weeks without cable and around 2 weeks without our promised washer and dryer. I was promised some sort of compensation which I never received. I agree with the other poster when they say the pet fee is ridiculous. $500 is an absolutely insane amount of money for a pet, not to mention they watch you like hawks and offer a reward to a resident if they witness you not picking up your pet's doo. First floor is often noisy and you can hear neighbors across the way in their apartments easily.

I have lived here a year, and I love it. I think the staff here is very friendly and they don't give you the run around. Since they are new, I am the first person to have lived in this apartment, and that has been super nice. I think the floor plans are very spacious. As they are starting to fill up all of the other apartments, I have had to park a little ways away, but I have never had a long walk to my apartment. I also think the rent is very reasonable. The pet deposit is pretty ridiculous, though. 500 bucks, and all of it is non-refundable. Overall, I would recommend this apartment. I have lived in two different complexes in Norman, and this is hands down......TREMENDOUSLY better than the complexes on Oak Tree Ave.

Nice apartment complex, but don't get a noisy 1st-floor apartment!
I've lived here for almost a year and can honestly say it's one of the nicest looking apartment complexes is Norman. The apartments are also less than a year old and I've had zero problems with anything within the apartment. The management office also makes free authentic cappucinos for residents. The negative side? I live on the first floor and can truly say I've never heard more noise from neighbors living upstairs. Originally I thought that since it was a new complex, the walking noise upstairs would be minimal. Not true at all, I consistently wake on a daily noise to stomping and walking around upstairs above me. The tile floors don't help with that either. The way the apartments are built, footsteps sound more like drums above your bed. If you can get a 2nd floor apartment here you'll love it. 1st floor...and you may never sleep soundly again.
