Feels like low income housing
Feels like a low-income housing experience. I will piggy back on the review left below by the person expressing frustration over the elevator situation in building 1 from August. Everything he or she said is completely accurate about the constant trash surrounding the garbage compactor and other issues. For the amount of rent we pay for a complex that is advertised as a luxury apartment it is frustrating that management can’t get a handle on their trash vendors and blames everything on their vendors even when it some situations it is not actually the vendors error. For example my neighbors lie and say they were skipped over for trash pickup but it is they who are putting their trash out in the hall too late after the vendor has already come by. There is an abundance of cigarette and pot smoking in and around the apartments. There are and dangerous dogs here that are viscious and the management turns a blind eye. There are apartments with small dogs barking incessantly all day because their owners neglect them. It is insufferable and we get no peace. I do not blame the dogs I blame the owners for not exercising their dogs. I would not recommend moving to this complex. It truly feels like low income housing with luxury price points and an ever changing office staff who are rude with a smile. People do not pick up after their pets and the few who do pick it up just throw the smelly poo in the trash cans by the buildings entrance instead of using the biohazard stations meant for pets. It infiltrates the entrance and drifts up to the balconies affecting tenants living experience. Biohazard stations should be used for the pet poo. As a medical professional I can tell you that there are reasons for this.

When I asked management for guidance on how to move furniture or belongings during this extended outage, their response was not only unhelpful but openly hostile. I'm being held hostage in my own apartment that I pay over $2,000 monthly for, and management's attitude makes it clear they simply don't care. This isn't just poor customer service – it's a fundamental failure to provide basic accessibility to the units residents are paying premium prices to occupy. **Management Failure and Broken Promises** The elevator crisis exemplifies the broader management disaster under Greystar's transition. This property operates like it's on autopilot with zero oversight – from inconsistent trash collection that leaves dumpsters overflowing like a "low-rent gas station" to a package delivery system so chaotic that finding your deliveries requires a 30-minute treasure hunt. The credit verification process took two weeks despite excellent credit, and every interaction suggests this is simply "how they do business here." When you're paying premium rent, you shouldn't have to deal with management that seems utterly incapable of hiring reliable vendors or implementing basic organizational systems. **Safety Hazards and Amenity Theft** Beyond the trapped residents situation, the complete lack of supervision creates genuine safety concerns throughout the property. Unsupervised children run wild through icy parking lots and take over the gym equipment with no adult oversight, while pet waste goes uncleaned despite posted notices. Most infuriatingly, management rents out common spaces that residents already pay for to outside parties who behave obnoxiously and tell paying residents they have no rights to the space. The grill works sporadically, the pool area gets locked when residents want to use it, and staff have been observed using facilities for personal parties with 15-20 guests. **Premium Rent, Tenement Treatment** The fundamental issue is paying luxury apartment prices while receiving management quality that belongs in low-income housing. From being literally trapped on upper floors with hostile responses to reasonable requests, to living among overflowing dumpsters and uncontrolled chaos, residents are essentially funding their own neglect. This isn't the controlled, safe environment we pay for – it's an unmanaged tenement where anything goes and management actively resents residents who expect basic services. Every resident deserves significant rent refunds for months of substandard management that has made this place genuinely unlivable.

Worst Apartment Management Ever
Not only did they not honor the signing promotions at all but it is nearly impossible to get out of the lease. They are so empty (people are leaving in droves) they keep tacking on fee after fee. They told me I would have to pay an additional month but then added hundreds of dollars of fees. Again I receive another month's bill for almost twice my rent. Although it was agreed the lease was up. They say they are escalating issues but you never hear from them. They patronize the guests and take no accountability for everything that breaks; hot tub, pool, equipment in the gym, flooding, etc. And let's not forget all the dog feces on the property and pot smoking that happens on the balconies etc. It is a TERRIBLE complex with an even worse management company.

The gardners are nice, they go out of their way to smile and pick up the cigarett butts that my neighbors from above toss down in front of my deck. When you complain too much, you get a bad rap from the office. Damned if you do...Damned if you don't. This is my first experience living in a complex like this, I always owned my home. Had great neighbors. Well, lots of thinking if I will revise my lease, Grass always seems to be greener on the otherside, but it is not! I suppose this is apartment living with young people that are self centered, loud obnoxious and seem to believe the world revolves around them. Some people here are kids with kids and living with 2 dogs in small apartments. Oh well...As the World Turns....chuckle let's see if management removes this review - they seem to like only the positive reviews. must tell the truth Thou Shalt Not Lie!

Great experience at Selene
Cody has been super helpful since day one. He’s friendly, easy to talk to, and always quick to help. If I have a question or need something, he takes care of it fast. He really seems to care about the people living here, and it shows in the way he does his job. It’s nice having someone like him around, he makes Selene feel like home.

Selene at Sayebrook is Now Listed on AirB&B
I’m incredibly disappointed with how Graystar has managed the property I’m renting. Without informing me or asking for my consent, they began using the property as an Airbnb. I was not consulted about this major change, and only found out after the fact. As a tenant, I expect transparency, stability, and respect for my living situation. Turning a rental into a short-term vacation listing without notifying the current occupant is completely unacceptable. It disrupts the sense of home and security that long-term renters rely on, and it shows a serious lack of professionalism. If you're a prospective tenant, I would strongly recommend being cautious and asking very clear questions about how the property is managed and whether there are plans to use it for short-term rentals. my experience is ok they need to clean halls better and pick up garbage on the grass areas everyday. although hard, residents need to clean up after their dogs is is unreal arrange to have events in cloubhouse more so people can meet each other and socialize this shoud be dont maybe twice a month

The apartment that I moved into was a ADA apartment and the staff immediately helped me move into a apartment that I originally looked at. I am now happily living in an apartment that I wanted. I appreciate everything the property managers and the leasing staff has done for me.

The community is beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered all my questions and made me feel at home. The maintenance staff was there on the first day I moved in, and we're coming back today to fix a couple of things. I was unable to access the online access codes. I was told by the property manager to come back on Monday and IT would help me.
