Ridgeway Commons has been absolutely wonderful!

My stay so far at Ridgeway Commons has been absolutely wonderful. The apartment itself has been great, with plenty of room for all my belongings, lots of natural lighting, and ample storage. The staff has been super helpful, making every interaction pleasant. The community has also been wonderful, quiet, safe, and well-maintained. I couldn’t be happier with this place, and I definitely recommend it.

I enjoy the quiet setting of Ridgeway Commons!

I enjoy the quiet setting of Ridgeway Commons. The buildings and grounds are well kept, and it appears the management makes a genuine effort to keep the grounds clean. My fellow residents are considerate and pleasant. My stay at Ridgeway Commons has been a comfortable experience, and I have encountered very few problems.

Ridgeway Commons is a quiet and comfortable place to live. The setting is safe, and the grounds are well kept. I must say, the prompt response of the maintenance staff to my minor repair request was much appreciated. The location of the complex is also very convenient, as the stores and restaurants are just a short drive away.

My experience living in Ridgeway Commons has been good so far. The people in the leasing office were nice during the move-in process and helped answer my questions. The property looks nice and well-kept, and the landscaping is a nice touch. It is nice to have a quiet place to come home after a long day of work.

SLUM LORD APARTMENTS, WORST APARTMENTS IN ALL OF EAST MEMPHIS, STY AWAY

This is a slum apartment that cost 1300 to live in. This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. They do not fix anything, they have one maintenance man that is undertrained and over worked. The office does not care about the tenants. I hate I ever moved over here. And, it is always dirty on the outside grounds and their pools looks you will catch something if you get in it. The staff is the worst, they stay in their locked building all day doing nothing, they will not replace anything to save their lives. If you move here you will regret it, I promise.

I love the neighborhood but the owners keep jacking up The rent regardless of how long you been here. Memphis is ranked in top 5 of poverty places to live and the owners go up on rent every year and lie about imaginary updates. I have never received an update and they make nothing but broken promises. I’m Not upset at staff because they are merely following orders. This place has used covid as an excuse for a year and a half on several issues.

This SLUM is now a garbage dump! Seems even the trash collectors won't come near this filthy place anymore since the dumpsters are overflowing for 3 days now. The new management company ATMGroupLLC has hired the most miserable office staff we have ever had to deal with. The apartments are actually falling apart inside and out, roofs leaking and plumbing leaking when you bathe or shower. Six of my neighbors have seen the $300 rent increase and they are leaving and not signing up for a new lease. There are big dead trees all over the complex, even one right across from the leasing office! They will not fix anything and so many renters here have no working AC in this heat, They have to go out and buy a window AC that can only cool one room, not much help when you need to cook or be in other rooms. Don't be fooled by the pictures they show on their website of the grounds. Those pictures were taken several years ago when we had real landscapers that knew what they were doing. Now all we have are skeleton trees and dead plants infested with weeds. If you move here you will not be happy with the noise, the managers that does not answer the phone and if you complain they get nasty. BEWARE this place needs to be condemned. by code enforcement and the dept of health.

Please, heed the warnings. These are true slumlords. I have had a hole in my 1 year old son’s bedroom for almost TWO WEEKS that resulted from a leak they would not come fix. They refuse to fix anything, and then they lie to you and give excuses, but as soon as you’re late on rent they let you know. I’ve called code enforcement and a lawyer. Dominique is nice and all, but she also lies to make it seem like not their fault, so it doesn’t make her any better than the rest of them. I could go into detail of all the problems I have experienced since living here, but the short of it is my apartment was missing doorknobs, blinds, etc. upon move-in, and they only came to fix everything once my dad called and went off on them (about a month). My dishwasher has been broken since March, our air is ALWAYS going out, oh and the GIANT hole in the ceiling. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! They’ll get shut down eventually anyway with all the code enforcement calls I’ve seen in other reviews

The worst!!! The ATM Group is a joke...no follow up, no one answers the phone and no one calls you back. The girls in the office are unprofessional, no sense of urgency, rude and incompetent. The apartment is falling apart...the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms are rotting, the wood literally crumbles. They paint over the extensive water damage on the ceilings. There was literally a bucket in the attic full of water. Pest control grounds keeping is non existent. Their contractors and maintenance are unprofessional, like seriously, I'm not even sure if they have legitimate businesses; they seem like somebody's uncle who never had any formal training and their craftsmanship is laughable. subpar. They simply do not care about the residents or the property. I will not renew my lease.

This apartment has the worse management of any place I have ever lived. They just do not care about anything and have no connection with the renters. Other teams send out monthly newsletters and keep you aware of important issues. We are facing severe weather with temps as low as 3 degrees and not one word from them about what to do keeping pipes from freezing or loss of power. The only time you here from them is to pay rent. They have raised the rent so high that many are moving out. This place was built over 50 years ago the kitchen cabinets have been repainted so many times the paint is bubbling off. They are bringing in new stoves and friges but the cabinets are falling down because the hinges are all worn out. The elect outlets spark when you plug something in, the floors squeek and the walls are paper thin. Don't get fooled by any promises they will just keep raising the rent and fixing nothing.

I have been a Resident here for three years, and management has changed from moving in. I simply love my spacious apartment and the community. I have never had one problem with the Management Team, Domonoque & Shun have been wonderful in assisting me whenever i called. Always able to help when called. RUN RUN RUN, do not stop here: I've lived here since 9/2014, the property has been sold 3 times and with each management team the property sinks deeper into the gutter, this current owner ATM Properties has raised the rent 25% with a promise of upgrades ... well there have been NO improvements what so ever, I re-signed my lease in September 2019, ... Oh and get this, they charge tenants $13.50 per month for liability insurance, I don't know but it seems they're basically passing on the cost of their property insurance to the tenants we of course do not benefit from this, seems that should be illegal or at least unethical. There is no onsite security, no working security lights, no security gate, this complex is less than a mile from Hickory Hill, the grounds are not cleaned, no pest service, fences falling down., office staff is NOT nice, full of attitude, treat you like they're doing you a favor, maintenance is a joke. Here it is 6 months since that storm of October 2019, the apartments have not been cleaned out, tenants are moving out in droves. This is an Awful Awful Awful place to live. Yes, I still live here (for now) lease does not expire for 6 months. They charge rent as if we're located in Germantown or Collierville but the complex is leaning towards sub-par. You get a "rent due" notification every month on the 1st BUT again they are horrible horrible.
