Bad Place
To put the icing on it I have to listen to drip/drop. Till it's Stop Raining Deon Trotter want return my call Please don't live here . I waited to long should of never moved in. Definitely inspection was not ready. Deon Trotter, the maintenance man his boss and bug inspection or bugs traps can not control the bugs. Move in 8-26-2025 Move out 9-26-25 I will and want recommend or refer my worst enemy or nightmares. This apartment complex is at 831 Glastonbury Rd Nashville TN 37217. This is ridiculous . From the start bugs. Bad toliet. Window broken. Maintenance did replace window and toliet seat but was unable to get rid of the roaches spiders and ants going in up and down walls ceiling floor bedroom bathroom kitchen lord especially in the kitchen. I have bomb it out over and over. Please don't live here unless you don't mind carrying bugs. Waking up killing them or going to to bed. Every day kill a bug. Please don't move here. I have learned a very good lesson. Didn't even get a offer to put me in a cleaner better place .

Good experience overall. Janice, in the office, is very effective and communicates well with the residents. She is courteous and kind. Kevin, the maintenance guy, is exceptional. I never waited long to have work orders complete. He is the biggest selling point of this property. If having a responsive team to fix issues in the unit is important to you, then this property will please you in that regard. I cant say enough good things about Kevin. The noise from neighbors is also minimal. I chose this property because I dont like hearing neighbors walking around above me. I lived on the second floor (out of 4) and rarely heard my neighbors. When I did hear them, it didnt sound as loud as some other buildings that Ive lived in before. There are concrete floors here which help minimize noise. The only drawback of this property that I can think of is the plumbing. The water gets cut off sometimes for required work and the pressure in the shower is poor. The building is super old though so this isnt the fault of the management team.

This place is nothing like it used to be. When I first moved in, there were different residents than there are now. Now it's trashy people who live here & why people are moving out. I am waiting for roaches to start appearing, that's how trashy these people are. 6 or more adults living in a two bed apt? Come on management, we've told you but you still won't do anything about it. Parking is bad now too, with the good spots taken up by people who don't live there. Very disappointed in how bad things have gotten here.

I have been here a little under a year and I can honestly say the reviews on the site are either not by actual tenants or are people paid to write those reviews. The only good thing to mention is the maintenance guy. He's fast, efficient and very friendly. Parking rules are not followed and noisy neighbors who love blasting their music is now the norm. When you ask the tenant to turn his or her music down or you ask the upstairs neighbor to please be quiet after 10pm, they will retaliate by keying your car or slashing your tires. When you tell the office manager about your noisy neighbors, her response is always "turn on a fan; it will drown out the noise" but who wants to have a fan running on high in the winter and heaters blowing at the same time? I think the manager does not want to lose her bonus nor is she one to settle conflicts. She avoids them yet allows the troublesome neighbor to move in and make people miserable. This could be an awesome community if the manager was more careful in choosing occupants to fill her empty apartments. Instead it's a rush to meet a quota so the manager can receive a bonus instead of bringing in quality tenants to make it an extraordinary community. It's sad.

I have had an exceptional stay so far at Parliament Place. I had the chance of running into some issues when paying my rent online... Tammy, the leasing manager worked with me in ways that most leasing managers probably would not have. She does a great job at taking care of your problems/concerns. She has great patience and communication skills. I've yet to see her irritated or not in the mood to assist anyone with their issues.

I've been living here for a little over a year and I am very pleased, especially with the new upgrades! The staff is wonderful! The only bad this is the parking and wasps that surround the area a lot during the summer! Other than that I'm glad to say I live here!

The Office Manager is a great resource. The updates in my one bedroom are so cute. I just transferred to a two bedroom and it couldn't have been easier. Deposits are low and rent is reasonable. Plus I've met a couple of up and coming musicians living here with great talent.

Best complex I've ever lived at. Quiet, surprisingly roomy, and the upgrades they are doing really make the place feel like home. Interesting architecture as well.

I've lived here a month, now. I LOVE this complex! Previously lived on Charlotte Pike for three years, where the rent was becoming outrageous. Management is awesome! Any problem I've had has been addressed quickly and courteously. The maintenance is great. Apartments are well laid out, cute, and very quiet. I live on the ground floor and hardly hear my upstairs neighbors. Very nice shopping area, quiet neighborhood, low rent and the BEST apartment manager ever. I highly recommend Parliament Place!

Happy Living
I have lived here since March and have no major issues...in fact just signed another 6 month lease. I love the area and that it is close to everything. Ms. Kathy is the best manager ever and handles maintenance issues quickly. I would give this apt a 7 out of 10.

Great community to live
I just moved from the one bedroom to a two bedroom apartment. I lived in the one bedroom apartment for two years and had no issues, minus one bass booming neighbor who was taken care of by Kathy. As far as the two bedroom, I absolutely love the vast amount of space! I was so happy to be able to use my own washer and dryer (self purchased), and have a dishwasher. Kathy worked in a quick like ninja fashion to ensure I would be able to move when it was right for me. When I did the walk-through, I found moist wood under the kitchen sink. Camilo, who is the maintenance man in this complex, quickly replaced the wood and repeatedly apologized for the inconvenience. No harm done since I had not moved in yet. Also, the refrigerator that was in the two bedroom apartment broke so Camilo used a dolly to bring my old refrigerator to me. How sweet! Camilo is great to have around. He knows everyone by name, or so I believe since he says hi to whomever he sees walking around. Kathy also knows each tenant. It surely makes you feel special when the manager and maintenance staff know you by first name basis. That is unique in my book since I have lived in numerous complexes and the staff rarely remembered my name. In regards to the grounds, Camilo uses a blower everyday to ensure the grounds are kept neat, flowers and bushes are kept trimmed, and grass is cut about once a week. I have never had any issues with my neighbors, other than the previous tenant who lived above me in the one bedroom apartment. Everyone was and still is so polite and helpful. The complex has many lights so I feel safe even when walking out late at night. There is more than enough parking. If there is anything you, as a possible tenant, can think I am missing in regards to this review, by all means reply to this post. Overall, I give this complex a thumbs up and a full 5 rating. I sure hope so since I have been here for 25 months! I am loving life in Parliament Place.

I hate it here mangement sucks
I signed a six month lease here and thank God its gonna be up jan 1 2012. Since i been here my car has been broken into and hit by numerous cars. ppl hang out all times of the night on the balcony and the maintainence man snoops around all the time. Kathy the manager puts on a sweet innocent persona but its fake, she did nothing ab the incidents and said that she didnt believe they happened bc they hadnt happened in yrs. I even lived next door to a drug dealer. Kathy is a total B**ch and i warn eerybody to stay away!!!!

No Good!!
I had a bad experience with the manager! She filed eviction on my last month there after I made a payment arrangement. The judge even asked why were we in court if they got their money. However I was late and had to pay the court cost. I didn't like the apartment because of the poor instillation and the fact that my family and I had to turn the TV up loud due to all the noise outside our door! And we could always smell what our neighbors cooked which wasn't a pleasant smell. The only plus side was the location and there were no bugs!

Life at Parliament Place...2 years later
Living in Parliament Place has been quite pleasant and I have had no safety issues, which is still my primary concern since the day I moved in considering I work odd hours. I used to park in one of the only unlit areas of the parking lot (far from the entrance), but now I park closer to the main entrance. Parking has never been an issue for me regardless of what time of day or night I have arrived home. Kathy ensures that the grounds are always clean, as well as Camillo picking up and sweeping each morning around the apartments and the buildings. As building issues arise, e.g. holes in the siding to allow birds in, once again Camillo is right on top of the task of making sure all issues are fixed prior to leaving my apartment. He is always pleasant and he knows everyone by name, just as Kathy does. As far as noise, there can be a few noisy people passing in front of my apartment laughing and/or talking, and mainly on weekends, car stereos go thumping by, but you will have these types of noises every now and then no matter where you live. Other than an issue with one neighbor being noisy, Kathy was quick to resolve the matter. Since then, no other noise issues have risen. As stated previously, Camillo is quick to fix maintenance issues, meaning he has always arrived on the same day I had placed a maintenance request. Kathy is always a treat to talk with. I probably receive the most packages out of anyone in the complex, and she is always there to gather my items and to prevent the mail carrier from knocking on my door due to my odd work schedule. She goes the extra mile by sending me an e-mail stating I have packages in case USPS does not leave notice in my mailbox. Kathy will work with anyone regarding personal matters. As she once stated to me upon my arrival to Parliament Place, "Sometimes bad things happen to good people." She has shown her generosity to me in regards to late payments, providing you will work with her too. At the end of the day, running an apartment complex is a business, but Kathy is more than willing to work with good tenants. Overall, two years later I still love living at Parliament Place. There is so much to do locally that I barely put any mileage on my car traveling to shopping centers, downtown, grocery shopping, etc. All major highways are less than a mile away each direction. It is more than convenient! I intend to renew my lease and move from the one bedroom apartment to a two bedroom apartment in the upcoming months. A bonus to living here are the elevators, which have been a blessing for moving in, will be a blessing for moving out, and for carrying groceries to my apartment. If I had to rate Parliament Place on a scale of 10 (being highest), I would give this apartment complex a 9 out of 10.

Made Moving Seem Easy!
I am relocating to Nashville from Michigan, so needed to find a new place to live blind. I did a ton of research on apartments in the Nashville area, and this complex immediately stuck out because of its high resident referral rating (and because it looks like a castle:o) Almost every review said how great Kathy is, and after living in places that have been poorly managed, I was attracted by that, too. I sent an email to Kathy asking about availability (expecting to hear back from her in a couple of days, as seems standard), and was very surprised when she called me back 2 MINUTES LATER. She was incredibly warm and friendly, and seemed eager to help. She also helped me make arrangements to have one of my friends go over and take pictures of the place for me, so that I would see concretely the layout/space etc. Everything looks great, and I will be moving in two weeks! (So the only "stars" I can award right now are management stars, but I will award them gladly, because I haven't even moved in yet and this place has already beaten out my last several apartments.

if you enjoy cockroaches in every room, broken glass scattered all around the dumpsters, and the fact that you can hear your neighbor go to the bathroom then this is the perfect place for you.

Parliament Place
First off, I didn't have much time to look for an apartment when moving to Nashville and I wanted one close to where I work, so I chose Parliament Place. The area is not upscale by any means, but I believe it is safe considering. I would not recommend walking around the neighborhood at night alone but I wouldn't recommend that in any part of Nashville either. I had a couple roaches when I first moved in, just in the kitchen, but Terminix came and sprayed and after about 2 weeks I had NO roaches. I firmly believe there are renters here living in total squalor, but I keep my apt rediculously clean and have no problems. It is surprisingly quiet at night and the walls are inside are unique-- they're brick, so noise is minimal. I would say I am pretty spoiled and I absolutely HATE bugs, but I am sold on living at Parliament Place. It's great proximity to downtown, Berry Hill, Green Hills mall, and Opry Mills. Best of all, I am saving a TON of money living here compared to my friends who are driving from the 'burbs and wasting gas money. It's a charming little apartment and Kathy has been great to work with. When my 6-month lease is up, I can do month to month! Yay!

Do you want to live at the best of the best??? Choose Parliment Place...
I am so happy to say that Parliment Place Apartments have to be the best of the best in Nashville, TN. Kathy Reed is the Manager of the Property and is out of this world. She provides excellent care to the property, as well as her residents. My sister and younger daughter needed a SAFE place to live and one that is CRIME FREE and close to the airport, she could not have found a better and SAFER place to live. Kathy is always available to answer any questions and works with her tenants so well. If you are looking for a great place to live and also, if you have ever desired to live in a castle, Parliment Place Apartments should be your first stop. It is a huge brown castle.....My 4 year old niece calls it "her castle." Good Luck!!! Ashley H. Huntington Beach, CA

THE BEST MANGAGER EVER!!!!!
i moved here from Texas and it was great! when i first got there, i had a roach problem! But i told Kathy how bad it was for me and she sent the exterminators until the job was done. other than that, i really have nothing but nice things to say, i moved away because i had work in Los Angeles California and cant do that from Nashville! Kathy Reed was the best manager, she was always making sure that what ever the problem is that it was fixed for you asap! She is very professional and very nice! I will go back to visit her! the price is great and if you have to go to the airport or pick someone up it will take less than 10 min to get there(great if you have to take a cab!!) also the Opry Mills Mall is very close! Very convenient location to anything and i would recommend it to anyone!
