Outstanding Management
I moved to TN from TX in August 2007. I was trying to choose an apartment sight-unseen, which was difficult from such a distance. Eventually, I stumbled across Parliament Place. The apartment manager here was insanely useful. She really made the move possible by working with me. Many other times, she has shown her value by listening to what's going on and then helping me work within the confines of my lease and the rules of the management company to make moving, signing leases, and controlling bug problems as painless as possible. Also, she's just really friendly. As for the apartment itself--it's okay. It's not fancy, by any means, but was clean and well-maintained when I moved in. It's a good value as far as space for the price. Of course, the apartment manager makes it more worth the money because you don't have to deal with any hassle to have legitimate maintenance issues fixed. ...This section was added to this review after moving out...It was a great experience. Kathy really made it easy because she communicated so clearly what needed to be done before I left. I really felt like she was working with me the whole time. I would still recommend this place to anybody based on the fact that it is livable and has SUCH fantastic management.

yes yes yes
This place is real wonderful Kathy was very nice to deal with, very GREAT customer service skills, and making you feel like your the most important task at the time. She was the only one in Nashville that I dealt with, that listened first and was very understanding, if I was her boss she would truly get an raise, and thats no joke.

Kathy Makes the Place
I moved to Nashville from Chicago in June 2007 and went looking for apartments. I had seen a couple, but the management seemed very disinterested in really helping me. When I walked into the management office at Parliament Place, Kathy greeted me with a friendly smile and attitude. During my initial visit, some of the residents stopped by to pay their rent and I was struck by the warmth that was displayed between the tenants and Kathy. I have not moved in yet, but will be on October 1st and am looking forward to a long and comfortable stay at Parliament Place. In a world of indifference, it's great to see that people, like Kathy, still care.

Manager Kathy has exhibit the care and concern one needs to be rank among the best in her field. Her care & concern for both the management and resident go hand in hand. Thanks Kathy Tony

When I was apartment shopping for somewhere to stay earlier this year. I came across a set of a apartments off of Glastonbury road whose building was in the shape of a castle. I walked in and a lady named Mrs. Kathy helped me (whose now my landlord). She was nice the whole time I looked at the apartment and when I moved in she didn't judge me or treat me any differently race, sex, or ethics is clearly not a factor to her. The last set of apartments I lived in the landlord was not nearly as friendly or pleasant as Mrs. Kathy. I'm glad I was able to get an apartment here at Parliment Place, Mrs. Kathy is a wonderful person and she's the same to me and everyone else everytime I come in contact with her. Thanks Mrs. Kathy!

New place, New Home
You might know how frustrating looking for a new apartment might be, but think about looking for a apartment in a whole new State 4 and 1/2 hours away from everything you've learned to know. My boyfriend and I are the Ohio area and are attending school in nashville it seemed like we were never going to find the right place to live. Everytime we thought we found somewhere our advisers would be like NO, you dont want to live there or the staff seemed liked they would want us there and were no help. finally after begging Zach about wanting to live in the place that looks like a Castle he finally gave in and its been the best thing possible so far. Kathy the lady in the office couldnt of been more helpful, and she actually called us back and helped us get what we were looking for. We are so excited about moving to Nashville, and even more about living in a comfortable place. Thank you so much Kathy. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Look no further...
If you re looking for an apartment that is safe, well ran, and affordable; this is the best choice in Nashville. The location is superb, and even with its close proximity to the Airport, there is no noise. Cathy (the Manager) is the epitome of what a manager should be. She is kind, caring, and professional. You simply cannot find a better place to live.

Great Management
All in all for the area of town this is the safest cleanest apartment community that you could live in. This is all due to the management. Kathy is a great manager and is very helpful to all residents. The apartments are well kept inside and out. She is a great help to all of her residents and goes beyond the call of duty to take care of her people and the property. Parliament Place is the best apartment community in Nashville. All of the residents that have lived there always come back to see Kathy I know this because I live there currently and have lived there in the past but always to return back to a place I would like to call home. Living at The Parliament Place
On a visit to Nashville I was recommended to The Parliament Place months before my job transfer; A to be work associate immediately recommended me to The Parliment Place without hesitation when he learned about my concern for safety, price range, cleaniness, quietness, friendliness, and location. I found my stay at the Parliament Place to be as recommended, and I'm glad I mentioned my combined apartment search concerns to a smart, and well respectful leader at the work place, who I asked if he lived there and his reply was no, but he would have if he'd known of The Parliament Place. He said he learned of the apartment from others that lived there before me, and they were pleased. I enjoyed, and still truly miss my stay there, because Kathy always was willing to resolve any issue possible to make life worth living at The Parliament Place.

FOR ALL WITH BAD COMMENTS
I too am a resident of Parliament Place and if anyone has anything bad to say about the Apartments or the management (Kathy) It is only because they either were evicted for non payment or because the manager (Kathy) would not give them an extra month to pay their rent and WHO WOULD! The apartments are one of the few left that is actually kept well and as for the manager, she will do anything possible for any of her tenants. Kathy is a very fair manager and she treats all her residents with the same common courtesy regardless of race.

Parliament Place?? more like Roach Place
When i first moved in back in November it seemed nice and peaceful until i heard the continuous stomping above me and it got worst each day not to mention that but the place has a serious roach problem and their so called pest control doesnt work for the place so basically the roaches has over taken the entire Parliament place...not only that but the landlord (kathy) was friendly at first but when mentioned to her about the continuous stomping above me she would get an attitude and say she'll see to it but she doesnt...so basically the apartment is very unbearable i mean the roaches ran my place and the noise above wouldnt stop so i couldnt really sleep til 4am til time for me to work which was 9am but even then you'll hear stomping...even through the area is majority latino/-------- which kathy is a decendant of...they usually kept to themselves but get at you in other ways via stomping above you...then when my lease was finally up i had the weekend to move out i had gotten most of my things on that saturday even though they are closed on the weekends except for 3 hours which they dont really be there...i had a feeling someone was watch because on sunday when i came back to see if i forgotten anything before i turn in my key they done changed the locks on the door now how's that for service?? and im not one to complain because i've done put up with arguing neighbors, drive bys, and loud music but this place was a bad choice altogether...this would be a bad first apartment for anyone and i've lived in many due to job reasons and this is the worst one yet so you've been warned!!

bad service for the area
yeah certain people will say its a great place to stay but if u look at the majority there and you'll see why. Lots of illegal immigrants and with the manager (kathy) running things if you have a problem with them then you have a problem with her me and my fiance moved in back in november and everything was fine other than the noise above us i would swear there were 20 people staying above us and we are not the type of people to complain about anything we are very patient but when you're trying to sleep or even relax and watch TV tell me would you be upset when you hear running, stomping, and what sounds like a bowling ball being dropped every 30 mins during all times of the night? yes exactly and when we went to Kathy about the situation her attitude changed like we are asking her to evict her family (maybe) but all we asked is that if we are going to be staying there we should be able to relax and it gotten to the point where i have seen 15 different people going in and out of that apartment above but kathy swears only 2 people stay there and we've been getting stare downs from the many people who stay up there like we are the FBI but our lease is over now but other than that problem and the maintence guy knocking on the door every morning for something to do and half the people in the complex cant drive our car was side swipe one day by someone so you'll have to be careful where u park...its decent for the money just make sure no one is above you or atleast someone kathy likes or it'll be a long difficult lease for you........

Very Pleased
I've found Parliament Place to be a quiet and pleasant place to live; especially suitable for a 20-something single. The office staff is prompt, helpful, and friendly. The location is pretty good too. Rent is reasonable. I would recomend Parliament Place to a friend.

Pretty good for your buck
Kathy the Apt manager is very kind, friendly, and helpful. Josh the maintenace guy is prompt, he gets things done very quickly. I pay $435 for my 620 sq.ft apt and its worth it. The neighborhood is not the greatest in Nashville, but I have had and seen no problems so far.
