After visiting several comparable communities earlier, and thinking that I had made a decision, Talavera was last on my list to visit and I am glad that I stopped to inquire. From the time that I was greeted by Shawn, showed the community and unit, filled out the paperwork and finally moving in, it was easy and pleasant experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a "home"

We have lived here for more than 4 years now. It has been good overall. There are / is a bike thief in the apartment. My neighbor's bike was stolen from under the stairwell. My bike's seat was stolen lost week. How cheap is that? Beware of that thief/ thieves.

At Talavera apartments they are always prompt when fixing things and are always happy to help. I have never had a problem when it came to them fixing things. I'm so glad to be living here this could potentially be my long term home. Great work Talavera!

I like it hear. It is very peaceful and quiet at night. I thought it might be a backup trying to leave for work in the morning, but I am out and on Lake Creek in about a minute. The appliances are pretty effecient. My electric bill is much lower than I would have guessed.

I love our apt and our office staff Coutney and Kristine are always amazing, although or gas grills have been down for quite a long time I know they are doing what they can go get them fixed. We don't like the stray cats other then that we really enjoy where we love and the people that keep our property running smoothly as possible.

Well maintained but very expensive!! Too many Skate boards and too much noise by Bldg 10 People drive very fast, and play LOUD MUSIC in and out of back gate:( Motor cycles are very Loud and race leaving back gate making extremely loud noise :))

my experience is pretty much okay but there are several issues that I am not completely satisfied with. I think I think the recreation center could be a bit cleaner. and I wonder why the gates seem to always be broken. the staff is pretty pleasant to work with, most of the time. I do wish I could get the rugs cleaned when the weather is not so hot and buggy.

Talavera is a fantastic apartment community. Office staff is friendly and professional. I am going to be moving soon due to family issues, but will always recommend this complex and would love to return if I have the opportunity in the future. It has been wonderful living here!

Everything feels good other than the fact that when ever I open the sliding door to patio, I hear a lot of traffic noise from high-way. Getting out of the property is somewhat painful, but not that bad.

Good location, happy they could accommodate me on short notice, Like the pool, hot-tub, gym and look of the office and common areas. What to say, what else to say, running out of things to write to come up with two hundred characters. Eight to go!

Pros 1) Front office is very courteous and make do with the resources they have 2) Maintenance requests are promptly attended to. 3) Great location with easy access to 620 and 183. Cons 1) Stray cats are a problem 2) Children playing in the parking lots. 3) Back entrance cannot be used b/w 7:15 and 8 because of the traffic to the school next door. 4) Pet owners do not normally pickup after the pets. 5) Unreasonable charges when vacating the apartment (expect to pay any where between 150 to 250$) even after cleaning the apartment thoroughly.

TalaVera office staff are great ladies. My biggest complaint would be the lack of consistency keeping propane tanks filled for the grills and now the grills being damaged due to that lack of propane being available. (atleast that is what I heard). When I moved in there was a Cares Team and community events every month. The quality and frequency DRASTICALLY declined when the Cares Team moved. I think the office ladies do the best they can with what resources they are provided. Very happy with maintenance requests.

So far it seems like a great place to stay. Overall satisfied. Reasonable level of noise, reasonable appearance and condition of community grounds, landscaping, and common areas, great office staff,very convenient access to shopping, entertainment, restaurants, schools, public transportation, major roads, etc. Hope maintenance will be great too.

Very good, stays quiet. A bit noisy on the weekends but its an apartment complex and that should be expected. So far I haven't had any interactions with my neighbors and hope for a good experience for me and my two dogs while living at Talavera.

Overall, good compared...
Overall, good compared to other apartments we have lived at in Austin. Staff is reliably friendly and diligent. Grounds are pretty well kept and the gate is a nice feature. Overall the other tenants are distant but friendly. You could get involved in the "community" but you don't have to which is nice.

Its a decent community...
Its a decent community located centrally. EVERYTHING is right here. Lakeline Mall, Super Walmart, Super Target, the toll road entrances and a Post Office not 1 min away. Its insane how close to anything you need is so close to this community. The downside of coarse is the price. Being so close to everything definitely has a nice price tag. The kitchen appliances could be so much better for the amount you pay. The bathrooms are kind of the same. Cheaply made fixtures and cabinets, BUT they are a different style than most of the apartments in the area so that does set them apart. The layout is great for large flatscreen owners, theres a neat little nook in the living room for it in the 2 bed 2 bath plan. Not sure if everyone has it but thats what made us end our search. Also, parking is HORRIBLE if you don't purchase a spot under the covered parking. We bought one around 6 months in. Couldn't take it anymore. We had to park almost near the front a handful of occasions WITH groceries and an infant, not doable. Buy a spot.
