From the time I came...

Overall, Talavera isn't...

Overall, Talavera isn't bad. There could be some improvements that aren't drastic. Our thermostat doesn't always tell the true temperature in our apartment so sometimes it's warmer than I want it to be but I don't want an outrageous bill so I deal with it. It is also humid in my apartment. The parking spaces are limited near my apartment, sometimes I have to park 3 buildings away. Other than that the other stuff is pretty minor. I will probably stay here unless my job changes.

Good except my carpet s worn & I've asked to have it replaced, but after living here 9 yrs (building 7 & 6) paying $90,000.00 in rent, I guess new carpeting is too much to ask. I like the way the property looks, maintenance guys have been awesome!

I am happy to report to any perspective residents that I have renewed my lease here for my 2nd year. From a first responder/student's perspective, I have crazy work hours and a modified sleep schedule. However, I have never had a problem with neighbors, noise, or any other disruptions other communities tend to have. My neighbors are from different demographics; some young, some old, some single, some with families, but regardless the community is respectful of the common areas, noise levels, and cleanliness of the grounds. I have yet to see any law enforcement in a duty capacity to enter the gates of the community. A contracted security company does patrol the grounds at certain times, usually when I come in from work, which personally makes me feel safe. The dog park is very large and owners are aware of picking up after their family members. The pool area is a great way to relax any day of the week and large enough to accommodate different families at the kiddy pool, big pool, hot tub, or grilling area. I really don't get why people cry about different racial back grounds, people have to think different look at things different way's and most are raised different, but I have not seen anything drastic from anyone for the most part the people here are real friendly. Know about the staff here, I think this team here is the best we have had sense I have been living here, but we do miss the cares team that we had two years ago, but other than that I hope the team here stays here for awhile, the only thing I don't really like to much is people bringing there pets to the pool area and to the club house while food gatherings are going on, your pets are your pets and that doesn't mean we all need to be licked or jumped on or stared at eye to eye while we are eating. If you want a nice place to live and good people around I would recommend the Talavera without a second thought.

I love this place! The new management is nice. The hot tub always works and it's always clean. There are doggy bags everywhere so no excuse no to pick up poop and they will fine people if caught or someone snitches on you. This is a pet friendly place, I actually got to keep my German Shepherd here! The place is well kept. This is a place for family and pets for sure. My one bedroom is $800 a month but I think it's worth it because of all the amenities. Only thing is that the gym's ellipticals have been broken for over 6 months now and they have been talking about replacing machines and they haven't yet because they recently painted all the buildings. I love the place enough to stay. The neighbors I have a great, they are quiet. The walls aren't that thin, it's decent for an apartment complex. I live on the first floor and I don't hear that much foot stomping upstairs. Unless your of Indian descent you will feel uncomfortable here. You can hear through the walls, even when a neighbors toilet is flushed. Don't live on the first floor because I have had everything stolen off of my balcony, down to the light bulb. The management doesn't help with any issues, same with the maintenance. DON'T live here unless you have no other choice, like I did. The amount you pay is not nearly the amount this place deserves.

1. The front staffs are really rude. 2. Not enough parking space for buildings at the back. 3. Children always playing on the parking lot. 4. Apartment rent is increasing (very expensive) 5. I have a private parking spot and once someone had parked their car on my spot. It was probably at midnight or 1. I called the front office and complained, maybe they can tow the car or whatever, but they didnt. I had to park my car around the very front gate of the apartment and had to walk all the way to the back.

Talavera going downhill

It used to be good, but not any more. They R raising all rents $100/month. Not enough dumpsters. Cant find recycle area. Don't have many fun gatherings. Pool dirty a lot. No table unbrellas. They R more interested in Facebook friends than me. I found a house to buy which will cost less than the rent here, plus the mortgage will never go up!
