This is the cheapest 78748 apartment complex, and it shows. While maintenance requests are more accessible due to a different portal, you should expect to self-maintenance the apartment if - say for example - you want your front door to shut completely, a hole in the wall patched, or an insect infestation that crawled underneath the bedroom carpet to rip it up. Appliances and fixtures are old, peeling, bathroom caulking is peeling and unleveled. It is the cheapest apartment. You get what you pay for, and it ain't much. Also, all 5* reviews are for some kind of compensation. I don't know what. I never received the valet garbage bin you're supposed to get as a RESIDENT, so I can't tell you what they are, but the 5*s are all very irregular for the apartment quality.

Office personnel are professional and kind and maintenance requests are completed timely. We are kept abreast of all matters pertaining to the community. I like the new security measures which help to keep us safe.

The staff in leasing is rude there not helpful especially nicki maintenance crew takes 3 weeks to get to your apartment maintenance the quality in ppl that landmark have been employing since Covid has drastically declined

I've been overall very satisfied with my residency here. The neighborhood is wonderful and the proximity to the parks is very nice. Its a very quiet and clean community and I enjoy the amount of plants throughout the complex.The only things I would like to see changed is a repaired non flooded maintenance room and less unsupervised and reckless behavior at the pool. Again I'm overall very pleased with my residency here and would recommend it to friends and family.

Landmark at Prescott Woods is a nice community filled with very kind neighbors. So far, the community and neighbors have been pretty much the only highlight. Management at this complex is sometimes difficult to come to with issues and force you to call corporate who take almost a week to return a phone call or email. Management needs a lot of work, but the apartments are pretty nice in a chill, quiet neighborhood.

I have found my living experience here to be pleasant. The staff have been responsive, professional, and courteous in my interaction with them. Communication between us is as needed or required and respectful.

Overpriced and Outdated: Not Worth It
The insulation in the apartment is very poor, and everything is old. Despite running the heater 24/7 in the winter, the temperature never rose above 67 degrees on cold days. The windows frosted over from the inside. We froze for days and paid a $218 electric bill for small apartment. In the summer, we are overheating. There are numerous issues with the apartment. Due to its age, different things constantly need repair. I have a list about that. The polite responses given to negative reviews here are not genuine. The provided phone numbers and email addresses are useless. Even if you visit the leasing office multiple times, you get no results. The problems in the apartments and tenants' complaints do not matter to the leasing office. With every complaint, the manager just says, "Then move out." The photo was taken from inside during the winter. The ice formed inside the windows and made the interior even colder. The maintenance guy is very friendly and tries his best to do his job well. It's been fine. The rent, while needlessly expensive, is less expensive than other places. If it went up, I'd have to move. Generally well maintained, quiet, good neighborhood, good neighbors. I wish they would stop sending so many advertising emails and spam and only email me about rent and inspections etc. though. Landmark severely abuses it's email priveleges.

I have mixed reviews about living here. I love that there are lots of trees and plenty of grassy green spaces. The maintenance requests are followed up on promptly, but often it takes two or three requests to actually solve the problem. My biggest issue is that the office has made it clear they can charge tenants however much money they want as fines for violations they are able to make up whenever they feel like it regarding the patio space. They also enter your home with less than a few hours warning to do things like change the thermostat system or update all your lightbulbs without permission.

Back when I first moved in to this apartment complex it felt like a close nit community. I knew the office staff by first name basis. Over the past couple of years (after COVID), things have changed. There has been less of a personal connection with the office staff and therefore I feel the there has also been a big disconnect in this community. However, I do appreciate the efforts they have tried to make hosting a few events and/or activities to engage the residents... Said events are not usually accommodating residents that work the same hours as the office.

We enjoy the community. Management has done well for the most part. Maintenance also. Perhaps when a apartment is ready to move in management should inspect the work done prior to someone moving in. The community pool is very important and be a top priority during summer.

Starting with the office and staff. The property manager isn't very approachable, and sometimes confrontational. The staff is often unable to provide accurate information and often lies about the status of the amenities and unit conditions. The pool is closed most of the time and when it's open it's often unusable due to the water conditions. Landmark is aware of all its current facility (unit) conditions but has a "deal with it when it happens" mentality, (leaning structures falling, roof falling off, outdated AC units, apartment conditions). The area is nice and the grass is green though.

Nice neighbors, an attentive and friendly maintenance team, and a safe place to live. Convenient location for shopping, exercising, and going out. Priced relatively well for the current Austin housing market.

Most things are fine but they don't fix the laundry and there is a problem with the plumbing, I go without water way too often. I don't even go to the laundry rooms anymore. The likelihood that they are broken is too high and I've had the machines to down mid cycle

I feel very comfortable and safe at Landmark and the office staff are always pleasant and helpful. I am 81 years old and hoping the rents don't increase much so I am able to stay here. I really love my apartment.

Maintenance is great. Especially Emilio! There is an issue with dogs. Constantly barking and many no lease. Many people don't use poop bags so lots of poop everywhere . Lots of restrictions on how you decorate your patio.

Amazing. Almost 4 years here and I love Highmark.
I’ll say this and it’s what God loves. Not one problem here, almost four years here and not one problem in my area. A few improvements to our parking lot and listen. This is very good place and have responded with all resources during two ice storms. I mean look at the photos, this is a well maintained property.

My husband and I have had a great experience moving to Landmark at Prescott Woods. We moved from out of town to Austin. Our initial move date was pushed back because at that time we had just had a freeze and they needed to make sure nothing was affected to our apartment before moving in, because of the inconvenience we were helped alot with our first month's rent. Carla has been amazing since day 1 and the maintenance team has been great!! They get things done in a timely matter.

Great neighborhood. Pretty affordable apartments. The pool was closed for a good amount of the summer but they seem to keep up with pool care which is nice since there's a lot of familes in the complex. We have had some issues with bugs, broken toilet seat or leaking windows. Understandable, they're not too new. But maintenance is usually pretty quick to come out and take care of the problems. Pest control comes out to the apartments once a week so you just have to be added to a list and they stop by the apt. Overall, nice apartments.

Decent apartment and lease office staff. Great location, and I feel safe in this area. The maintenance crew are amazing and professional. Cross your fingers that you never have to interact with the Property Manager, Joe. He was beyond rude, nasty behavior and downright disgusting customer service, he sealed the deal for me not renewing my lease after I had my interaction with him regarding my A/C. I could not believe I was living somewhere that had someone like that behind the polite emails, polite office staff and great maintenance crew. A disaster. Other than, Landmark has been great but after 3 years and getting to meet Mr. Joe, I am moving on soon. Thank you!

The interior is shabby and you can just tell they paint over damage. My bathroom is a mess a portion of the ceiling fell and was leaking water I put in a help request and it wasn't fixed for a month. The kitchen smells and that was before I moved in a long with me not even trusting using the dishwasher, the carpet has like nails poking out and they hurt, like a lot. They upgraded there main office instead of upgrading the apartment or even spending the money to make the maintenance team come quick and timely. There's bird poop all over the stairs on what seems to be all the apartment building. And the roads you have to drive on to park have so many pot holes.
