My experience has been challenging but I'm trying to make the best of it because I have always wanted to move Downtown. Getting stuck in an elevator for almost two hours was a traumatic experience. My bedroom closet door falling in my head and there was a bump and bruise on my forehead only to have the maintenance man come and rig it and it fell apart again. My neighbor moved because he had the same issue. The front double doors and sidewalk could be kept more clean and the entryway and floors could be cleaned more,with Covid, flu and viruses and germs everywhere and everything should be kept clean at times like the apartments that surround Downtown, Time for a upgrade and renovation

I don’t know who works in the office anymore because we keep changing people and they don’t advised us like they use to we where so keep up with who was who and different things to get the community together but we haven’t been doing anything at all

I had a great experience with maintenance and the office staff is very helpful and friendly. They always help me with any problems I have and I appreciate the maintenance being very helpful and convenient for me because Im disabled and it's hard for me to move around or do some of the work by myself

I won't give a review because it will not be a good one. There are a lot of problems in this building plus the parking prices are crazy and there is no where for your family to park so they can't come and visit you

The Historic Electric Building apartments are centrally located in downtown Fort Worth and I appreciate the lifestyle, convenience, and access to local venues. I like the underground parking especially during inclement weather. But living here does come with its challenges. There has been a high turnover of personnel in the management company that causes inconsistency in policy and impedes expectations. I am hopeful that conditions will improve over time with less interruptions.

Uplifting could be the word,also thoughful and predetermined concernces ,it seems the Top to bottom checks of the building maintenece and replacement to upgrade closet and minor detail items is starting to take shape

It’s a nice place to live but it has some wild residents. If not for that and the hiccups of it being a old building. It’s close to many venues transportation train bus Uber cab. Very scenic the view is awesome. Leasing Staff is awesome.

Its seems like there's always something breaking down.The wash wash room was always taking my money. And half the time only half the machines work. So I wash my clothes elsewhere. My air conditioning unit has been out for two months now. And it's not working, so I was thinking maybe I need to inform my case worker.

Not what I was expecting

Looked up this place on Zillow and I really liked the pics and history with the building so I took a tour. Was really excited to see it until I actually saw it. Pictures make it look phenomenal but in person it’s a complete dump. So filthy, the windows had so much dirt and grime on it the I could barely see through it. Refrigerator was all dented up. Paint on walls was horrible and the whole vibe of the place was something you’d see in a crime show or a horror movie. I walked out after the tour and said “no way in hell I’d live here”.

I would have given a 5 but Bianca is in my opinion the informative knowledgeable and helpful staffing in the office the other person is evasive when it comes to answering questions and is disrespectful to tenants that have an issue and bring it to her attention if she does not care about the fixing the problems that are important to tenants because tenants are not her priorities in my experiences with her

Don't live here. It's a nightmare. The building is falling apart and they won't fix anything. We didn't have hot water for months, the elevators break every other day, the roof leaks, and the lower floors flood. Heidi the property manager is rude and nasty and makes it very clear that she doesn't care about resident issues. She only cares about getting new residents/victims to lease here.

I have enjoyed my past few years moving to the HEB for the past 5 years. The location, layouts, utilities combined so I don’t have to go searching for private companies for energy or water, etc. it’s an amazing living situation.

No Hot Water / No Working Elevators

For several months now the units have had the hot water inoperative. Several times over the last months there has been no hot water. Out of the four elevators only one works. Of the one that works, sometimes that one becomes inoperative.

I have had to submit the same issues for months and nothing ever gets fixed. This property is beyond poor in maintenance and the staff never returns calls or emails. I hope one day that they get better maintenance personnel.

Great place! Great staff! Good community! Minor maintenance issues but they were taken care of immediately... Ronnie has always taken care of all my maintenance requests quickly and communication is spot on... The new property manager Irma has been so helpful and nice to deal with. My only complaint... Most of the laundry room equipment does not work.

Pest problem and maintenance issues do not get taken care of. Laundry machines are always broken. Elevators are often broken down and filthy. Staff listen and seem to want to help with issues but nothing gets done.

Love this place

I have lived here for over 5 years. I Absolutely Love this place now.... I really started to dislike this place until recent. The New staff are so much better than previous management. Always a friendly face, when I walk in. My work orders are taken care of quickly. The new maintenance guys actually care about my concerns. I have notice a big difference in this building. Hallways are cleaner, the elevators actually work now. Previous management did nothing, and ignored my requests. The new property manager is so nice, and she actually cares. Irma helped me resolve a past due balance. She actually took time to find the error and made things right quickly. Ron and Alexandria have been to my apartment multiple times. I absolutely love these guys and they are so nice. They have made my apartment feel like home again.
