Trash

Garbage just Garbage.... Dont expect a refund of your deposit. Even if you left it cleaner then it was before you moved in. They will " its in the mail" your --- to death. Just take them to small claims court like i am to get your money. This is how bad the apartments are. They have to steall your money to keep up the trashed out place up and running.

I repeat don't rent from this place! BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS!!! They accuse people of bringing them in themselves when they know they are the problem. They called someone to exterminate the place. Obviously didn't do a good job because they came back.

Bad place no water most of the time, pool is broke, laubdry room is closed always flooded, place filed bankruptcy so no repairs are getting done so were told. The worst customer service ever. Everything on their website is so not true. Run down and infested with bed bugs.

What might have once been a nice place to live, is no longer the case. My husband and I have been living at Lookout Ridge for a few years now. We have overlooked most minor issues such as having a moldy sink from prior leaks and noise issues but during the whole month of November, the hot water has gone out 3 different times. The first 2 times it went out for 3 days each weekend. Then it went out on Thanksgiving and has been out now for seven days. The maintenance man seems incompetent and the management is too cheap to call for outside/professional help until the 6th day. We have had to boil pots of hot water to keep dishes clean and for baths, for 15 days now. We have called in with complaints and so has the whole apartment complex. The management seems oblivious and refuses to compensate for the days there was no hot water. The tenant laws deem this place as uninhabitable. Now we are probably going to have to call a lawyer and deal with extra stress. For, $660 a month this place is definitely not worth it! Stay away!

STAY AWAY!!!!!! In the past month, my hot water has gone out completely without warning three times. Maintenance personnel just patch up the problem because it keeps happening. Last outage is going on four days and counting!! When I try to get an ETA for a fix, I catch an attitude with the Management Staff, telling me that they are waiting on parts and that there is nothing else that they can do. I understand stuff breaks from time to time, but no hot water on three separate occasions in a month?? There is no excuse for this type of service! I will be moving away from this dump in the next month. Do not rent from these clowns!!!!

Almost everything your looking for

Not a bad place to rent from, I can go on and on about the good things; adequate parking, pool, laundry facility, cleanliness, minimal noise but what everyone wants to know are the negatives to a place so here goes. Nothing bigger than a two bedroom to rent from, pool closes @ 10pm, the parking lot is not well lit, & thats about it no damage to my car so far so it's not crucial enough for me to worry about and everthing else is manageable.

I LOVE THIS PLACE

IM IN THE ARMY HERE AT FT HOOD AND WAS HAVING SUCH A HARD TIME FINDING SOME PLACE NICE , I WAS SO LUCKY TO HAVE FOUND OUTLOOK RIDGE , CLEAN QUITE FRIENDLY STAFF IS AWESOME IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GREAT TO ME ! THANK YOU GUYS !

CLEAN-COMFORTABLE-QUIET

Recommended. Apartment living is "apartment living'. With that said, I find the staff to be very prompt and friendly. Apartements are well maintained and very clean. A very quiet community and very close to shopping, resturants and entertainment. I paid for my unfurnished apartment while still living in temp quarters, gradually furnishing the apartment in preparation for the final move in. To my surprise on my first visit after getting the keys, the staff had placed a basket full of goodies and a very warm note welcoming me to their community. I'm not totally settled yet, but so far...I'm lovin it!

Horrible parking hassle

Well I was going to live here I already got approved and last night I was visiting a friend who lives here and the visitor parking was full so I parked in a regular spot there was at least 20 regular spots open and 30 mins later come back and my car is gone. I'm not going to live some where that my friends have to worry about getting their car towed when they come over. It cost me $121 to get my car back. The guy must have been there waiting or something but that's a nice raquet they have going I wander what cut they get from the tow truck guy. Way to take advantage of your tenants friends and this time it happened to be a future tenant but not anymore.

I love lookout Ridge

I have only been here for a few months but I love it here!!! The girls in the office are very helpful, friendly and make you feel at home. The maint. staff is always on top of the work orders. The property has mature trees, sports court and a beautiful swimming pool!The apartments are nice and I would recommend living here to anyone looking for a great place to live thats inexpensive and spacious!

IT'S GREAT< I LOVED IT AND PLAN ON GOING BACK!

I highly recommend living at lookout ridge apts. The staff is great and they stay on top of things. The maintenance is one of a kind and the outdoors are always kept clean and beautiful. I would say it's the best in the Harker Heights, Killeen, Rancier and Copperas Cove area, and you can't beat the price. Check it out for yourself, I garantee you'll love it.

GREAT place to live!

I have lived at Lookout Ridge off and on for about 2 1/2 years and absolutely love it. When we have friends over they always comment on how nice our apartment is and at what a great price. We have never had any issues and when we have a loud upstairs neighbor the cops were called (by the manager) after we called it in. We have guest over all the time to spend time at the pool, which is normally very clean and stays open longer than other complexes. As far as the maintenance we have never had issues either. One guy even came out on Thanksgiving Day to fix our stove - how thoughtful on a day ment to be with family. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. and the manager Keri is so sweet. She will even say hello at the grocery store!

Since I moved into these apartments I have had towing prolbems to include visitors parking in visitor parking as well as another with a valid parking pass visable and still towed manger says not her problem they were "employed" by the apartments ..... however after reaserch they do have a contract with them..<br> Trying to get anything fixed? Mineas well do it your-self maintness gets paid 10 an hour to "watch" the pool! (that never gets cleaned) <br> No PETS.... NO MATTER WHY.... I had my parents evacuate from Hurricaine area and bring their dog (small) and was charged 100 plus 10 per day the dog was there.. they didn't care why she was there.. but it's ok for those that had animals before no pets rule changed to stay there!!!!!! <br> The rent goes up everytime you resign you lease.<br> After all this we ended up breaking our last lease to get out of there!!!!!<br> I wouldn't recomend this place to my worst enemy!!!<br>Peoples noise and loud partying at pool and from their apartments are heard in your apartment as well!!!! And the msnager wont do anything about it!

very happy here

My husband was deployed and I decided to stay here because I felt safe and everyone is so friendly and helpful. I have really enjoyed it here and if I ever had any questions or needed help with anything the office manager and the maintenance guys always went out of their way for me. I will miss my apartment, my neighbers, and the staff of Lookout Ridge. Thank you so much for helping to make my stay here so enjoyable. I have and will continue to refer this place to everyone and we will move back if we are ever stationed here again.

This place needs help...

Trying to park is outragoeous! My car had been towed once even when we had our sticker on the car. I had visitors come, who parked in the visitors spots, and still got towed! My son was stung by a bee while sitting in the Gazebo, which we later found out there was a hive under. When I called the management, they said "OK". I was pinpointed out of all residents because I had a bag of trash on my porch for less than 24 hours when others were in CLEAR violation of apartment policies. When any issue was brought up to management, the manager was rude, unable to give a straight answer on any questions I had and did not follow up with me or my husband.

What happen??

Let me tell you about this apts. When we firt moved in me and my girlfriend were happy to be on our own. We just wished we picked a different apt to live in. The parking here is all ways a mess if you don´t get home early then you will be parking far from you front door. My car has been towed twice once because some kids removed all the reserved parking signs so my car got towed the second time the towers did´nt see my parking sticker. Both time the apts did nothing. Can´t really say any thing about the pool area I don´t use it. The laundry service don´t use it at all its cheaper to go else where. Rent gose up almost every time its time to renew the lease. They also used to pay for water and now changed there mind. Please look else where???!!!
