Friendly environment and quite places. It is in the center of China town. Easily to walk to the Chinese supermarkets and Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants. There are many races and minorities surrounded but no problems because this is The United State.

    The apartments are nice and quiet and well kept. The only complaint I have is the manager parks in the handicap parking. She is the only one that does this and this causes problem for some of us handicap people

        Prompt and professional services, need more maintenance for the parking area, and drive way maintenance, should set up the visitors parking area, remove the unauthorized, unattended cars from the parking area asap

            Everything has been fine since I moved into my apartment here. Very happy so far. Much better than I expected. The staff here and the management here are very polite and assertive. I have and would recommend this place to someone.

                This apartment has WATER PROBLEM very often. Sometime there is NO WATER for 7,8 hours without notice. NO RESTROOM for all day. This time I get regular cold water but NO HOT WATER for a week. So, all the residents need to take the shower with cold water in the winter time.

                  The safest and most convenient Chinese community in Houston Chinatown.It has the most careful and patient community management team.Neighbors live in harmony.Even if you don't have a car, it doesn't matter. There are two Chinese supermarkets, bus stops, schools and living places here are very convenient.This is one of the best places to live in Houston.

                        Last October I moved in this apartment , My experience is good. Generally this apartment is okay . although the equipment of this apartment is older . Parking lot is very enough , you can parking your car at any time .

                          Very Good ! Safe clean close to china town and market,have school bus stop ,staff can speak Chinese and very friendly. Has security patrol at night time,has free maintenance and free repairs, using code to get in and out.

                            Most people living here are friendly and the management unit is efficient. Clean environment is acceptable, but some residents are very noisy. The swimming pool is unusable. There are people drying clothes outside. Many wild cats and some people have pets in the apartment.

                              If your on parole for any reason, make sure they put you on the lease or just dont live here!! Me and my husband moved in here after speaking to the manager [ Carol tung] and she stated that she will work will parolees . This lady has made this the most dreadful place to live . She lies to parole officers and to anyone helping the parolee. She has made is soo difficult for no reason. She keeps telling me she hasn't heard from the parole officer but the parole officer stated that she told them that she doesnt know him which has did the application with me and that she doesnt want him here. Everytime we confront her , she lies more . I have multiple people helping us and getting my husband out and everyone gets a different stories! Please save your safe and DONT MOVE HERE!!! There are plenty of bad reviews previous before me .

                                This is an unsecure property, seems like robbery happen every other week. The manager scream to the resident when she is incapable to handle something. The manager and staffs taking advantage of the residents, always ask for free gift and foods. The manager will give attitude to whoever disregard her request. Overall, this is bad management property. All the residents are moving out because of this manager.

                                  This page has gotten worse since I first moved here with my family, mainly because of the terrible customer service from the office. The office is the place I avoid going because one of the lady there is so mean, abusive with her language, and unreasonable. When your apartment has some problem, even though it is the office's responsibility to fix it for you, she would yell at you like a 3 year old without first listening to what you have to say. She is unreasonable to deal with and a lot of other tenants feel the same way. I am SO DISAPPOINTED by the management team because despite so many complaints, nothing has been done to fix this problem, mainly because cheap customer service requires cheaper salary. I DO NOT recommend new tenants to consider living in this location. It is overpriced, somewhat unsafe, and it has very rude and unreliable office receptionist and management team who do not appreciate or care for paid customers. I am moving out soon and will NOT come back!

                                    This place is horrifying! I lived here for the past three years and the reason was it is closer to any markets, also it's closer to my parents' house. Nevertheless, I got broke in last year and the management won't do anything for me or even try to increase security warning, the lady in office say that it never happen before and that's it. Not only that, they never get anything fix unless I have to come to the office and scold at them, or even curse. Roaches and centipedes keep coming to the house like it is their own homes. I have three months left and cannot wait to move out. DO NOT MOVE HERE! You will regret!

                                      a horrible place to live. DO NOT move in here. Once you sign the lease, the office people will treat you like trash. They ignore all your needs because when something is broken in the apartment, they will not fix it for you. They will find excuses to not come and get it fix. When I made a complaint, one of the office lady said "I don't give a crap about what you people think." My neighbor downstair just got robbed twice, and I am planning to move out as soon as I finished living through this crappy lease term.

                                        It is not safe place to live.

                                        The leasing office people claimed hiring security officers to patrol the place and they needed to raise everyone's rent for about 20 bucks a month during late 2006. Although management people are Chinese "I am too", they have to give back to their customers here. In other words, we should have better security than before. Wrong... Well first half of 2007 we noticed an offduty HPD officer or local security patrolling the parking lot on and off some nights. That was it. Since past four months, they have reduced "cut cost" the patrolling to late afternoon to early evening about 3 day/week max. And sometimes they don't show up for whole week. Also, they don't have assigned car parking for residents, and some greedy residents and their friends take up so many slots here. Management issues stickers and requires residents to use, but they enforce nothing outside. Ridiculous! Often my wife comes home late from work, she has to park far away from our apartment. My wife works at restaurant and comes home late often, so I did pay attention to the security here. Especially the whole zip code is heavily burdened by frequent robbery, car theft crimes after dark. It's a shame that they got our rent increased and not keep their promise to use the money on security. We planned to move out as soon as we find a house or even apartment with better security. If you are a woman, it's not a safe place for you. I am not here to make the management look bad, but it's a fact. The new management hired more people but managers never really walk the complex on a regular basis to make sure everything upkeep nicely and see any room for improvement. I like the previous management people better, as they could function more effective here and with lesser manpower. They either step up their security for residents here, or we here will start looking for new places.

                                          Rude and Mean Asian Apartment

                                          I just moved out last month, to my newly owned house. <br><br>In this Chinatown area, $460 for small one bedroom apartment is a bit priced. You can pay the same to get a small single family house (w/2 bedrooms) mortage, and set your own rules.<br><br>Too many Chinese retriees, about 70%, live here. Although they are less dangerous physically, their rude/ clueless/ mean attutide is next to none. <br><br>Management office let them run the place: they count on Chinese old folks consistent rent money (old people stick to same place til they die. So it's okay for this old chinese renters to leave their supermarket shopping carts everywhere here. During the days, they noise from the carts' wheels is consistent and annoying.<br><br>The roof insulation isn't good. I lived on second floor, my summer Electricity Bill is around 100 dollars. When I work weekdays, I don't set my AC at 82 degree. When I was there, I set AC at 78 degree. Their AC unit is just too old and energy-inefficient. If you plan to move in there and don't want high power bill, pick first floor.<br><br>The windows mini blinds is so cheap. No matter how you adjusted them, the people on ground level, can see what you people doing inside. I had to spend extra money to buy dark color curtain for my privacy.<br><br>I don't have a pet, but my only neighbor friend wanted to get a small sized dog. They asked for Bloody $500 pet deposit, plus you only get $200 from that pet deposit when you move out. That's ridiculous. But There are tons of cats running loose there, they all belong to the Chinese old neighbors. And the management office say nothing about this loose cats and cats poops on the lawn. That's baised and racist office that I'd ever seen. <br><br>If you are not old chinese folks or not speak chinese, your renting period is a torture in a foreign land.<br>

                                            Nice apartments for Chinese people in SW. A bit pricey.

                                            I don't live there, but my friend had lived there for about 2 years. 80% are chinese and other are Asian or American. The place is well kept. Have carpool covered parking for residents. <br>A good thing about this complex is that they don't have any trashy people living in, unlike other complex in this neighborhood. So you don't live around trashy (unemployed) neighbors who sit or hang outside watching you in and out.<br>Nice chinese community complex. Management office are chinese run, speak ok English but they are friendly and follow the rules. <br>It is a bit pricy in this area, but you don't have to fight with trashy -------- neighbors, like in other complex in this area. <br>I recommend middle class family or chinese people to move in, before buying their own house.
