Being living here at Brompton Court about seven years and it is very close to my job. Very nice place to live. Would recommend a friend to live here. The new staffs are very friendly and helpful. They only draw-back is that some pet owners does not clean after their dogs.

    It is overall good, still some problems exist. The pool is green, which looks nasty. The oven doesn't work. There are some small problems. We also want more energy saving light bulb. It is better to increase the shuttle service frequency and make Rice U a regular stop.

      Great community, walking distance from shops, grocery, Catholic church, bank, Starbucks & 1 bus ride to TMC station. Apartments are old but well maintained & shld you have any issues/ service needs, management tries to sort problem in timely fashion. The current manager is very helpful & understanding. Would recommend to friends.

        The after - hours message gives an emergency maintenance contact number. I called the number once. All night I worked to clean up the leak. In the morning, I call again - finally come to fix the problem an hour later. He fixed the problem but scratched up the toilet.

          Lived here for almost 1 year now. It obvious that the building is very old but nothing you can do about that. The residents are pretty good. They are either med students or medical city staff. I personally have never had an issue with maintenance. Infact, I think they do a good job. Especially Michael. No matter what time you call him, he is very willing to help. I had to call him on the emergency line a couple of times last week late at night and he came over within 15min both times. Some people may show up like they are being bothered you had to call them late at night, but both times Michael showed up very courtesy and efficient and said "this is my job, this is what I do, I'm glad I can help". I hate to bother people especially late at night on a Saturday, but to have him come as quick as he did and be kind and courteous as well was very much appreciated.             It is still too early to tell (moved in 1 week ago), but after a week everything seems fine, i like the apartment and can barely hear anyone around, easy access to my apartment and the elevator is great specially when carrying groceries.. I've seen a couple of dead small roaches around but also some alive around the kitchen, since day 0, probably because of the old cabinets, I've Applied gel and found another one dead, so I hope its not that critical.

              I've lived here for over 6 years now and I'm quite happy with the property and the management. Friendly neighborhood, easy access to restaurants, public transport and shopping. It is definitely a much safer community compared to other places I've lived in.

                    All was OK during the moving. The location is safe and next to the bayou that is a good option for cycling or walking. There is a bus stop just 5 minutes walking. Ideal for working in Texas Medical Center! The residents are polite and quiet, I found a nice place for living. I would recommend it.

                      Everything is good and apartments are nice.I like common areas but I feel hallways need to be cleaned more often. Staff are friendly and they answer quickly. Washing machines do not work as well as I would like. I would like to have a safer kind of doors.

                            Most everything is fine and about expected for the age of the complex and price we pay. However the front office staff is so rude and could not care less when I ask them questions or report a problem. There is no reason to be so flippant about everything, and as someone who works in the service industry, it's really not hard to just care a little bit and want to help. Please remember that while you may look at this as "just a job," this is our home and there are things that we really rely on you for! Also forgot to mention the gym is a disgrace and it is unacceptable to leave half the equipment in a permanent state of disrepair. Either fix it or remove it! And next time I see a leasing agent showing the gym off to a potential resident, I am going to speak up and call them out on it in front of the apartment shopper! This is false advertising.

                                Office staff is always friendly and helpful, and responds to maintenance requests quickly. The grounds are a little dirty, mostly due to pet-owners not picking-up after their dogs. The location is probably the best feature of this apartment, and the convenience of a shuttle bus is a great bonus!

                                  This apartment complex has been very good to us. They are always courteous and take good care of the gardening and external appearance. It is other residents who are to blame for not cleaning after their pets. That being said, the issue is not a major one. I would highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a good deal in the Med-Center area.

                                    Great location, the staff is horrible, they are not respectful buf maintenance works good. The apartment is not correctly sealed so roaches appear sometimes. They have pest control on mondays. It's very quiet. One of our friends has his car stolen two weeks ago.

                                        I am very satisfied with my decision to live in the Brompton Apartments. The rent seems to be a little bit high. But it is close to TMC and Rice. My apartment is in the 3rd floor, and I have not seen a single cockroach in two years. The only problem is smell of trash during evening when people put their trash in the hallway to be picked up. I am paying 925$ for 1x1 apartment.

                                              Maintenance is fantastic, office staff is fine. Facilities (hallways, stairwells, etc) are not well kept in terms of cleanliness: smells like pet urine or is visibly soiled by pets in most stairwells and halls. The apartments themselves have very small kitchens and after a microwave essentially no countertop space. Carpeting is very cheap and you can expect to have to replace it after your lease. Other than that, no problem neighbors, staff is cordial, maintenance is quick to respond and very helpful.

                                                  The apartment complex is very old. I do not know if there is any amount of renovation that could fix the rusting pipes - but this is a serious concern and issue. The water either smells like rotten eggs or iron whenever you use it. It makes it intolerable to take a shower, but I have definitely invested in Ozarka 2.5 gallons for drinking. If a facet is not used for a a few days, you can guarantee the water will come out orange for a minute or so. No matter when you use it, the water ALWAYS has a yellow hue to it. It is unfortunate that the property is just so old that there are constantly major issues because I really enjoy most of the staff, the location, the rent price, the dog friendly atmosphere and fellow residents. I have lived here for about 4 years and there have been multiple power outages that lasted more than 13 hours, constant issues with the rusted AC units and lack of cooling, and the everlasting yellow water.
