I have been living at this community for a year now and I don't have any complaints. The staff at Salem Creek Apartments are very nice and anytime I have a problem they are quick to fix the issue. Maintenance is AWESOME!!

Overall nice property, friendly and helpful staff and maintenance. For the most part clean and quiet. Any requests are addressed immediately. Neighbors are friendly and everyone pretty much keeps to themselves.

Moved in just a week or so ago. Betty is really nice and very friendly. So far we really like it here. Very nice and quiet community. The only thing I have an issue with is buggies... Apartments have pest control on Fridays, I think $4 a month? So we got the exterminator to come by a Friday or so ago, so I'm seeing improvements! But other than that it's a nice apartment for my boyfriend, daughter, and I.

Me and my husband been at our present resident for 4 years and decided to move out due to the breaks in and crimes. So we decide to look in the Salem Creek Apt on S. Flores. We spoke with the manager Betty. We ask her a couple of question for example the environment, how much would rent Be which for a 2 bed rm and 2 bath $972, and also what the inside looks like. Betty told me (wife) that the kitchen would have the same wooden floors as the office which were very nice and everything else rug. That was fine. Gave the money for application and security deposit. When it can down to really look inside and make sure everything work before signing the paperwork and move in. The carpet wasn't shampoo right, ALL THE CABNETS LOOKS LIGHT FROM THE 70'S. THE RESTROOM CABNETS LOOKED LIKE A DOG CHEWED THE EDGES OFF. IT IS HORRIBLE . EVERYTHING SHE TOLD ME WAS A LIE. I TOLD HER IM BACKING OUT. FOR ALMOST A $1000 IN RENT EVERYTHING OLD AND NOT MODERN. THEN I ASK HER IF WE CAN GET THE SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK. BETTY TOLD ME NO. SO PLEASE HOW EVER IS READING THIS PLEASE DO NOT MOVE IN SALEM CREEK APT. PAMELA REYES 4/19/19 THE DATE THAT WE WERE SUPPOSE TO MOVE IN.

I have lived in these apartments for almost 2 years now and I would NOT recommend them. They keep changing managers and every time we get a new one they arent very friendly. Things keep breaking and when you let them know they take for ever to replace it or fix it. The rent has gone up and honestly I believe that its too much to pay for the type of appliances we have. There are no pets allowed but everyone has them. The parking spaces are always full and most neighbors are loud and seem to have people over all the time. The noise is bad and since the fire department is down the street you hear them all day and all night long. I would not recommend anyone to rent an apartment here.

Do not move into those apartments. The office lady is so incompetent it's not even funny. She loses everything and then tries to charge you twice! Appliances old and outdated. They now increased the price which is ridiculous because everything inside those apartments is always breaking down. Its not like before where most residents were honorable. Now they let anybody (------) move in. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!!

These used to be good apartments but now they are a nightmare! They are constantly switching office staff (4 Different ladies in the past year) All of the ladies have been rude and not willing to help with anything. They want to charge you for any maintenance problem that there is. Parking is horrible! And even though there is a no pet policy, everybody has them. At first it seemed like they carefully selected residents, but now they let anybody live here. I would definitely not recommend those apartments!

Going on a year now and Im reluctant to say that these apartments are not worth what I pay for month. Materials used in these apartments look cheap (not that im a contractor or anything). Air conditioning unit does not cool despite lowering thermostat so during summer days it gets hot. Thats with maintenance coming in to service unit. Parking is terrible too. Over year that ive stayed here rent price has gone up and you cant even leave anything valuable on patio due to theft (even if you live in upstairs complex). I would definitely not recommend these apartments to anyone.

Home sweet home :)
I have been a resident for over two years now and I love it here. It is very quiet for the most part however on occasion like holidays or weekends, you will get your noise (usually the other apartment complex behind Salem Creek), but for the most part everyone at Salem Creek has been quiet. We do not have a security gaurd but we don't need one, we have our neighbors; everyone looks out for everyone and we keep people updated if we ever do leave town for the weekend. Another benefit to these apartments is during the severe thunderstorms, which we've had quite a few this year, our electricity has never gone out. We are located right next to a school, which is beneficial for families, a medical clinic, and Walmart & the firestation is literally right down the street. We are in walking distance of two different gas stations for those quick afternoon snacks or to fill up our vehicles before going to work/school or on the way home. There are different apartment sizes ranging from the small one bedroom, large one bedroom, to the two bedrooms apartments keep in mind the bottom floors will have a bar and the second floors will have fireplaces. I love my walk-in closet, but my kitchen is a little small for both my husband and I to be in at the same time but we make it work. I have not used my fireplace but it is a great backdrop for our decor which I love. This is the first apartment I have lived in and my husband and I very much like it, it is definately a great starter home. It will be very sad and hard to find an actual house we like with the benefits these apartments have. The parking lot we use has always had room, sometimes if we come home really late we'd have to park further than our usual spots but a little walking never hurt anyone. Maintenance and management are always nice, hard working, and have treated us with welcome arms. I rented these apartments with an open mind knowing there will be noise any where you look in the city, size isn't everything, and parking further wouldn't hurt. There is a small basketball court with a fence around it so the kids can play safely, picnic tables, small grills, vending machines for drinks next to the basketball court, and a small pool (which I have yet to go in but it's cute); I highly recommend this apartment complex. :)

Uncomfortable and Unwelcomed
With safety being a major issue, I would NOT recommend these apartments. There have been multiple vehicle and apartment break-ins during my stay here. I have NEVER seen a security officer on site, even with the multiple break-ins. Trust me when I say: there are many more affordable places to live! Salem Creek is HIGHLY overpriced for what it offers, and they do not even allow pets! The staff has been consistently cold and unwelcoming; I have never felt so patronized in my life than when I had to visit the front office. Their pool is inconsistently opened DESPITE posted hours, and you will often find it dirty. Their ad on Forrent.com states that they have a tennis court; This is false. The neighbors are generally friendly, if not a noisy bunch at times. I have nothing good to say about my stay here other than the location. I cannot wait until my lease is up.

Best one there
This place is the best one on teh south side. as far as this complex goes, i would choose this one over ALL of the surrounding complexes, hands down. The complex is quiet and cute, its updated, theyre friendly, what more can you ask for? No cops busting in peolpe for drug or domestic problems, all the cops zoom to ohter places. i felt safe, i am safe, i know how to dial 911 if need be, and the rent is reasonable, no section 8 true. No pets is a plus too cause no yapping dogs in the middle of the noght

so so
If you like the neighborhood then it is probably the best one there. The area surrounding is ------ though. I was scared for my life most nights on my way home from work. The people that live next to me were very friendly. The parking was a nightmare! I never had a place to park!

Amazing
I love my apartments, i use the bus line and i feel that everything is so convenient. The only problem is the residents from Hidden Village that come to use the payphone looking all dirty and suspicious. That irks me, i just wish theyd tear down that payphone, little dumb girls go cry and yell to their cheating boyfriends on it. Other than that, its great, obviously that is not a salem creek problem, hidden village is just disgusting. Our maintenance guy is quick and the staff is friendly and professional. You have to make a certain amount to live here, so that is a plus! no section 8 or pets allowed so you wont be bothered by any of that mess

Best damn apt I have lived in!
We have lived in different apts in san antonio and this by far is the best apt. We are moving this month to a new apt. complex only because of location and we are sad to leave. Management has been great and the few times we have put in a work order for maintenance they have been quick to fix the problem. I would definitely recomment this complex to anyone.

nice place to live
My husband and i have lived here for nine months. Salem Creek is a great place to live because: the management is great (they work to resolve issues quickly), new carpet when we moved in, washer and dryer hook-ups, student and certain employer discounts on rent, pool, nice floor plans, family friendly, attractive grounds, I think new residents get to pick out an accent wall before they move in that will be painted for them. Some downfalls: no pets, our refrigerator needs to be replaced, lots of ambulences and other sirened vehicles drive by these apartments on a regular basis, bills not paid, there was an isolated incident several months ago where there was a fight between a resident and apparently someone they knew and the resident got stabbed (I think) and had to be taken away by an ambulence (they moved out shortly afterwards, but management did not let residents know what was going on)

Wonderful Community
Moved in last month and have found this a great place for me and my family. People watch out for each other, you get to know your neighbor and the manager is no nonsense and gets things done.

Nice Place
I have lived in 3 different apartment properties in the area and must say that this is the best by far. Clean, large apartments, nice neighbors. Manager seems to know what she is doing. They don't seem to have a lot of turnover, which is nice.
