horrible!!!!
I am half way through my year lease & I am counting the days until I am out of here. I am a pretty quiet person, don't have many people over, work a lot. In the 6 months I've lived here the office has called & left notices on my door almost every month about nonsense. I pay my rent on time & I leave them alone so I expect the same. One time it was because a neighbor supposedly called & said i was walking my dog without a leash. not saying i haven't done it but seriously?? i have a 7 lb min pin for cryin' out loud. what's he gonna do?? 2nd time was supposedly a neighbor called & said i was cleaning between 1-4 AM. again, really?? I work usually 10-16 hours a day so the last thing I'm going to do between 1 & 4 AM is clean. try sleeping!!! Then just recently they left a comply or vacate notice about having a second dog here. My girlfriends dog is here once in a while but doesn't live here. They didn't call to ask me about it or anything. Just left a freakin notice on my door while I was at work. What kind of BS is this place. If there's a problem maybe they should investigate a little bit or pick up the phone & get both sides of the story. This is boardering on harrassment. Plus since I've lived here there are cops in the parking lot most of the weekends or neighbors in the first building arguing all the time out in the parking lot. yeah I think my dog not on his leash is the last thing they should be worrying about. Do yourself a favor & look elsewhere is you don't want to be nagged to death like you're still living at home with your parents, but in a back-stabby shaddy behind your back kind of way.

Bathroom sucks
I can't wait to leave.. The bathrooms in the two bedroom 1 bath suck, when you are sitting on the toilet you can't shut the door... Next the stupid contractor placed all the lights off center, so don't plan on good lighting. Next i went to swim and there was aprox 50 worms in the pool. One morning I recieved a threatening letter on my vehicle " your vehicle plates are expired either register it or remove it from the property emiedatly". I had actually registered it online so my sticker was late coming, they didn't bother to ask... Last my girlfriend and I wanted to see the next apartment size so we went to the office one Saturday morning, we was treated so bad, I could not believe we where looking to stay longer and pay more rent but the dark haired ----- was so rude. I would give other places a good look before you lease here, and if you plan on paying rent with your debit card, your charged $25 ..

We love our apartment
We loved our apartment from the moment we moved in, management - Lisa and Juletta are always very helpful, friendly and available. The grounds are kept beautiful, maintenance is absolutely great. The location is ideal. When we moved in we actually had new appliances and carpet which was great. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. We are very happy here! Our apartment is very spacious and quiet and the complex has a beautiful pool.

Not so great
I lived there for 9 months. The only good things about the apartment is the washer/dryer and plenty of parking. They are always posting notices about cleaning up after pets yet they don't seem to enforce the pet clean up fines. My apartment smelled of smoke frequently, but when reported they posted a notice to downstairs neighbor who proceeded to come yell at us. Needless to say we didn't report it again. We had to move in early cuz of some unknown reason about not being able to move in on a Saturday, but hem we had to move out a couple days early due to the office staff being unavailable on a Friday, we didn't get the money back for the two days we weren't living there. The move out fees are as ridiculous as the move in fees. Office manager and maintenance was nice, but the rest of the office staff could use some personality/attitude improvements.

Great place!!! With some exceptions
I have lived here for about 8 months and so far it has been great, with a few exceptions. The location is perfect!!! There is always plenty of parking. The office staff is great, they are friendly and helpful. The only problem we have had so far is we were not told that there was a additional pet deposit for the second pet. :/ That was kinda irritating beings how we repeatedly said at different times and to different people, we were going to have two pets at different times. So I am not sure how this was not mentioned to us, and an additional $200 is something we would have remembered. Other then that the office staff is great. The maintenance staff is also great, we haven't had to wait long when we have needed anything fixed. The down side to these apartments is they are a little old. The walls and floor are very thin. We can hear our neighbors talking, their radio, there dog, baby crying and anything else you can think of...eww!! The appliances are also old, but they work. The insulation is not very good, that needs some work. It would be nice if the workout area was open 24/7. It is nice having a washer/dryer included, but they are the small stack able ones, but they pay water so that makes up for it. Overall I do recommend Fox Creek apartments!

This place is great!
I love living here! The staff has all been great, I love lisa, kaylee, and I also did love candice and joy also when they were here. The maintenance staff is great also. Everyone is always willing to help you and resolve any kind of problem. Also I have felt like everyone is friendly. I have live here for some time and it has been worth it. I know some people have problems with things but I have never had any problems.

Second to none!
Fox Creek is absolutely and without a doubt the best apartment community I've ever lived at. The management team epitomizes professional and is always available to help with any concerns you may have. I've lived here for over a 20 months with little or no issues. When I first moved in my water heater had some issues and needed replaced. Management not only immediately replaced it they provided me access to another apartment so I had hot water during the interim. I had an issue with my patio blinds getting stuck and they replaced it in less than a half hour. The heating element in my dryer went out and again they had it fixed in less than a half hour. The staff/maintenance team here are not only very helpful but extremely knowledgeable. They have always respected my privacy and given plenty of notice when needing access for filter replacements and such. I've never had any issues with the neighbors and this is a great community. For the location the cost is more than fair. I'm only moving as I now have a big family and need a lot more space. I did inquire with these guys first to see how big of a place they had available but unfortunately the largest was still not enough. I can't endorse these folks enough and thank you very much Fox Creek, you guys are second to none! JT

Small, Overpriced, WAY below expectations
I lived in Fox Creek for 8 months, I hated my decision the first day! The apartment manager shows you a MODEL apartment that includes new, nice appliances, a fireplace and a very misleading amount of extra space! My actual apartment that I received keys to was very different. The sealing was HORRIBLE. I paid around what you'd pay in a house for my gas bill each month. The utilities are old and run up the electric bill. The walls and ceilings/floors - paper thin. My neighbors woke me up every morning and I kept them up some nights just by simply watching a movie. The second bedroom you could hardly call a bedroom, its very small; and the "full sized" bathroom you see in the model.. is really a small room with a toilet next to a vanity area. Don't be fooled by their cheap move in rates! They'll get you on the way out! I've never seen so many bogus repair charges in my life! On a lighter note, the staff was very friendly; however they made the move out process very complicated. I was still making return visits for this and that a week after my lease was up. Maintenance was extremely efficient, they worked in the morning while most were still asleep. However, it was nice having a washer and dryer provided in the apartment. I now live at Wingpointe Apartments down the street. I pay almost the same for an extra bedroom, extra bathroom and about twice the square footage; and the staff is just as friendly and helpful! Overall, I wouldn't recommend Fox Creek. I hope to God I don't ever have to go back for anything.

The Staff is so friendly and they are on top on fixing things
I have lived in Fox Creek for a year and I love the staff, the management is so friendly and helpful. They are willing to help you out, they are like family. At first glance it does look a bit older but they do keep up the place and if you have any complaint they try to accommodate. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good place to live where the staff is friendly.

Total rip-off!
We just moved out, and out of the $900 we spent in deposits ($150 initial fee, $150 deposit and $300 per pet) guess how much we get back? NONE! In fact, WE OWE THEM $300 once they replace the carpet in the apartment. Now, $400 of the pet deposit was non-refundable, but does that go towards pet-related damages? NO. Its a "management fee" which doesnt apply to the apartment at all. An what about the $25 per pet monthy pet rent? Apparently they just pocket that as well. (That was another $450 for the nine months we had pets) The staff told us in the beginning that the pet deposits would go toward extra pet-related repairs after we moved out, then said it wouldnt when we moved out. Total bulls***. DONT EVER RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE

First Impressions
Having now lived in the Fox Creek apartments for approximately one month now, I will call this review, "First Impressions." However, this doesn't mean I'm a novice at apartment living. I have been "on-my-own" since I was 18 year's old in 1968. That, "on-my-own," status adds up to over forty (40) years of being "Out There~!" Of that forty years, approximately 50 percent was in apartments. The remaining 50 percent was renting or owning a home. I think the above facts support my qualifications in accurately remarking on the conditions as I see them at this apartment complex. In my short time here I have had face-to-face encounters with management, maintenance, and neighbors. All three encounters were pleasant to say the least. The neighbors have been open and friendly (that's always a good sign.) I have asked the neighbors I've talked with how they felt about the apartments. None of them had anything negative to say about the place. I've called management for maintenance support on two separate concerns and my (small) glitches were taken care of right away and done right the first time with no return visits necessary. Fox Creek doesn't have the "curb-appeal" of some of the other apartments but what it does have is far more important. 1. A consistantly neat, trimmed, well kept appearance of the grounds, walkways, and buildings. 2. A pleasant and responsive staff, both management & maintenance, that I believe I can depend on and trust. 3. And, again, outwardly friendly neighbors. No, Fox Creek doesn't have that grabbing "curb-appeal." Fox Creek's appeal, to me anyway, is a relatively quiet, safe, comfortable place to come home to and relax. The overall feeling I get about the Fox Creek apartments is that the staff understands who they're working for and cares about their residents experience here.

Nice Apartments
I lived in a one bedroom apartment. It was a really good size. I liked that the apartment had a stackable washer & dryer in it, and central air conditioning! (A MUST whenever it gets over 80 degrees!) The office people were always friendly and the maintenance men came over the same day I called when I clogged my disposal. I have lived a some of the other apartments in Layton, and this is definately one of the best!

I absolutely love it here!!! It is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The tenants respect each other and I have not witnessed one incident here. There is a gym, pool and hot tub that are well maintained. The staff are professional, respectful and very helpful. These folks respond when you should you need assistance and accomidate your issues as well. Considering the location; you couldn't ask for a better deal.

Getting worse every year
The management changed, and, it all went bad. They don't even know their own lease agreements; quote you wrong and when you confront them on their own promises state that if it is not in writing they are not responsible for it. So when you ask them to put it in writing for the next time they get angry and refuse to do it. very bad. they used to be better under previous management team. My heat went out and they did not even care MANAGEMENT in the winter month, very bad service.

Better off in a Trailer Park!!
Fox Creek Apartments are managed by Thompson & Mitchie Associates. They also manage several other apartment complexes in the area. Layton Hills, Oakridge, Cherry Creek..
The corporate training site lists one of the training courses taken by managment staff "Tenant Management". They are well trained in bullying, intimidation and nonresponsiveness. Negative notices are openly posted on your door in plain sight of your neighbors. Not even the courtesy of an envelope. The 15 months I was there there were errors in my bill 10 of those months. Management corrected the errors but only because I caught the mistakes and said something about it. I wonder if the timid lady next door with three kids or the Air Force two striper stood up to these bullies? They take every opportunity to suck every dime out of and to take advantage of the tenants. You are charged to be billed for utilities from a company that Thompson & Mitchie no longer trust to bill the rent because "they make too many mistakes" per one of the staff members. Water is prorated amoungst all the tenants so two persons will pay the same as 5 persons. The autosprikler goes on rain or shine. They are not there for the tenant they are there for the stock holders. The pot holes in the parking lot need to be fixed. The exercise room is the size of a closet not available 24/7. Overall, I was so glad to get out of there. If you can get into a house...do it. If not, do a condo or rent real cheap until you can afford to. Goldstone is not much better looking but if they still include some utilities and basic cable...you are better off there. I am now buying a house. You can too..get a starter fixit up if you have to! If I had to do it all over again, I would have bought or rented in one of the trailer parks off of Hillfield Road.

Great Staff and Community
I´ve lived at Fox Creek for almost two years now and I love it here. Anytime I have a need in my apartment they were always met within 72 hours which makes it so convenient. I´ve also noticed different people in the office so I guess they´ve had a staff change but everyone has still been very friendly and helpful. I would definetely suggest to live at Fox Creek Apartments according to my wonderful experience with them.

Great Apartments
I am actually a current resident here and I think Fox Creek Apartments are great! I have read over some of the reviews and it makes me laugh how people love to exaggerate. I used to have a neighbor who complained on another neighbor about the noise they were making. (Which by the way wasn´t bad at all) But people don´t understand that they live in apartments and you cannot have total silence 24 hours a day! If thats what they want they need to move into a house.

On top of that maintenance is wonderful! I don´t think i have even waited one full day before my problem was fixed.

The girls in the office were always friendly and very helpful to me. And on occasion they even let me use there computer and fax machine.

As for the parking, I can agree that it isn´t all that great. Some apartments have a lot of extra parking but some of them don´t. And it makes it inconvenient for my guests.

The community is always clean and I see guys working on the yard all the time. It´s nice to see them have take pride in there community.

I would definitely recommend Fox Creek Aparments!

A very satisfied resident,
Cindy P.

DO NOT GO HERE - GO TO SOUTH WEBER
There are apartments in south weber - cambridge crossing for the same money. How does 650 a month for a 1200 square foot 2 bedroom sound????

I had problems at fox creek. my neighbors were noisy, playing loud music with heavy bass in the wee hours of the morning. they parked in my spot. I wrote repeated letters to management with times, dates, etc. It was not until I threatened legal action that things changed, slightly.

They were mean to my wife, but nice to me.

I signed a 6 month lease, and moved right out at the end of that lease.

The apartments are drafty - there are 2 each wall vents in the furnace closets which are located inside the apartment. These vents go straight through the walls to the outside elements. My apartment was freezing in the winter until I covered up these vents with plastic.

The parking is horrible. In my section of the complex, there were like 4 unassigned uncovered spots which were usually occupied by residents. visitors usually had to walk quite a distance. also, the "extra" covered parking you can rent is at the front of the complex, so if you live in the rear, you have to hoof it all the way to the front.

The walls are super thin. I literally could hear my neighbor urinating and belching all night long when he´d be boozing it up.

I´m not kidding, the noise passes right through the walls.

I Love This Place!!!
OVERALL: Fox Creek Apartments are great! It is always well kept and the entire staff is very helpful and friendly. I would definetely recommend this place to others.

PARKING: They offer one covered parking stall with your apartment. But they do offer more covered parking if you have more than one vehicle. Plus they have a alot of uncovered parking near your apartment for your guests to park.

MAINTENANCE: The maintenance staff is wonderful! I have never had to wait a full 24 hours before I received service! Usually I would call the office and let them know of my maintenance problem and someone is at my apartment within that hour!

CONSTRUCTION: You can occasionally hear some noises from your neighbors but what apartment have you been where you wouldn´t? I think the construction is fine and well kept up considering the age of it.

NOISE: Fox Creek is a very quiet community. I haven´t had a problem with noise.

GROUNDS: The community is always nice and clean. I am constantly seeing the groudskeeper or maintenance around picking things up. Plus the bushes and grass is always well kept and trimmed weekly.

SAFETY: I haven´t had any problems feeling insecure living here.

OFFICE STAFF: Very friendly. Every time I walk in i´m always greeted with a friendly smile.

PRICING: I think the pricing is decent. The apartments are well maintained.

3. CONSTRUCTION: Construction seems very good, it´s older but has been taken care of. NOISE: No complaints, pretty quiet!

5.
