Overall this is a well-run building. Maintenance requests are addressed extremely promptly, and the common grounds are well maintained. Rent increases are opaque and can be pretty stiff depending on the year, but I feel like that's par for the course these days - thanks RealPage! Staff are professional and helpful. Location can't be beat.

It's been okay. Communication could be better between renters and staff. Emails don't get answered. No personal experience/relationships if you do not live in the main building between renters and staff. Parking sucks with people taking up two spots, faded parking lines, people who don't live here taking parking spots.

It's fine, but the building is getting tired. I use the peloton most days but it's falling apart. Ny electrics often trip and my blinds are terrible, they aren't straight and jam everyday. They've been looked at but not resolved The rents are rocketing but the pools not heated and not open for long.

Generally a fine experience so far, with a few hiccups. The property is nice and in a great location. The amenities are fine, average for the area. The maintenance team responds fast, with mixed results depending on the issue. The leasing team lied during the application process and I was forced to pay a parking charge for 10 months when I didn't have a car. Generally you need to be on top of your game when dealing with the management/leasing team; maintain your own records and get things in writing from them. Overall, during day-to-day living, it's a fine to good experience. When things go awry or you need help, it can be frustrating.

MAA Post Carlyle Square does Nothing for their Tenants. Nothing at all to show their Appreciation. MAA Post Carlyle Square do Not Host any Regular Events for their Tenants throughout the year. That's Sad.

Rent goes up too much per year with no capital improvements. Large maintenance issues are inaddressed like the garage door and residents concerns seem to be ignored. Decent properly but over priced for the area.

My experience at this place over the last 2+ years has been mostly positive. It's in a relatively safe and quiet neighborhood, and also is close to two major grocery stores, nice restaurants, retail, and a movie theater. It's also conveniently situated near several major roadways and two metro stations, which make commuting by car or train easier.

The location can't be beat. Walking distance to the metro, Whole Foods, CVS, Wegmans, and restaurants in the Carlyle neighborhood. Also walking distance to Old Town. The building is quiet and kept clean. All the staff are responsive.

I love this community. Very responsive front office staff, concierges and service requests! All around the time is so kind and helpful! I enjoy my neighbors so much it's always sad when any of them buy a home or move out of state. Great people all around. Clean apartment, safe community. I love living here!

Location is great. Clean & well maintained. Friendly residents. Well behaved pets. Staff is ok. Management is pretty rude when reaching out with comments and concerns. Views are pretty terrible due to years-long construction and no concession on rent.

Good area but nothing outstanding in the community. Rent overpriced for the location. Leasing staff/ management not welcoming or accommodating. Area deserted after 9pm so don't feel comfortable walking home at that time.

I love living at Post Carlyle . The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and family-friendly, and welcoming neighbors. We have great amenities such as community pool, grilling area and a gym. The regular community events foster a strong sense of togetherness. Overall, it's a fantastic place to live, and I highly recommend it to anyone considering moving here.

This is the best place I've ever lived. It's quiet. The neighbors are respectful. A lot of things within walking distance. A great and responsive staff. My only criticism is a lack of adequate parking in the garage. There's aren't enough spots for residents who do not pay for a reserved spot.

Love location . Maintenance less than five stars . Often wait for problem to bloom instead of dealing with known issues . Budget often conflicts with needed repairs . Concierge staff range from excellent to erratic

This is a great location and the building is very well maintained. Good parking available in garage. Safety features all reassuring. I am in the older building and it has excellent sound proofing. Maintenance, concierge, and office staff are all very nice.

My experience in this community has been very positive. The building is quiet, clean, and the staff are responsive and friendly. I almost never go longer than one business day without getting a maintenance request resolved. The front desk staff are welcoming and helpful. My only suggestion would be slightly more upkeep (paint, rooftop and courtyard furniture), but even that is not too bad.

While the location and quality of the premise are above average, I do not believe that management cares for its residents. Issues take a very long time to resolve or are disregarded completely. Certain areas of the premise are left in disrepair.

I have enjoyed living at Post Carlyle for the location and amenities (generally) but there have been several drawbacks as well. In particular, the amenities are not well kept (fitness machines in disrepair, dirty gyms and bathrooms) or key fobs stop working randomly so you can no longer access such amenities. The apartment themselves use mediocre materials at best. Within the first week of our moving in, our bathroom mirror fell off the wall and had to be reaffixed. The screens on the windows no longer latch as of the latest window cleaning and therefore serve no purpose in keeping bugs out. Moreover, upon our lease renewal, our rent was raised $1200, almost a 30% increase. We tried to negotiate with the leasing office, but they refused. Overall - a fine place to live if you're willing to deal with the drawbacks and don't intend to stay for more than a lease term.

Community is well-kept, tidy, clean, relatively quiet and overall attractive. Close to all that matters - for me, such as restaurants, Metro, VRE, Old Town, Route 495. I am quite satisfied. The only negative is my heavy-footed neighbor on the second floor above, but that is not within their control. :)

This building's location is one of its strongest assets. It's close to metro, to old town and the views are breathtaking. The maintenance team is great. Any issue that may come up is handled promptly and efficiently. The common areas could be cleaned more thoroughly and more often though.

I love the quiet neighborhood feel of Post Carlyle Square. Though we're still surrounded by business and walkable to King Street/Old Town, there is very little traffic and the feel is much more residential than it is "city."

Fine. Maintenance staff is great but there are problems like consistent and pests / mold etc. office staff not good but again maintenance and front desk are awesome. Definitely getting a little over priced but still live here so not that bad.

This was a wonderful property until MAA bought it. The local staff works hard but the corporate owners seem to have a one size fits all approach and no longer treat this place as a high end property. It took years to get the hall carpets replaced, for example. The website is buggy and their IT system is unreliable. Several times a year the staff must manually fix some silly problem. The website is unstable and unreliable.

Great building. Great amenities. Excellent maintenance and state-of-the art technology to contact building for any issues you may have. Amenities are rarely crowded which is a plus. Very clean and quiet building.
