Staff willing to help however they can. One of the staff was helping me out when he was working overtime as well. The maintenance crew is also great. They we're flexible and extremely fast with their responses.

    Something I haven't described before is that one time a neighbor call the police on us because we were listening to music (while making dinner - not a reunion). When the police arrived, even them were surprised with how unreasonable the complain was. They said sorry for knocking the door and mentioned that somebody had called the police complaining because of some noise, but that he could barely hear any music (this was at 10 p.m. on a Friday). Guys, for the sake of keeping the community environment pleasant make more 'town halls' to explain people that this is an apartment building. This NOT a house; therefore, you cannot expect the same level of quietness (it is significantly quite compared to other properties). In summary, they need to be reasonable if they hear some noise in the corridor (I don't think in this particular case the music was loud enough to reach another apartment). Calling the police on someone is very serious, and I believe this was a distasteful attitude.

      Not insanely great, but not unloveable terrible. Just very very average. Pros are amenities. Cons are things like sloppy remodeling of unit interiors my floors are not flat, the wood floor panels have gaps, and poor paint job on windowsills.

        I have lived here for a year and a half. There have been consistent interruptions for renovations that were not disclosed prior to my leasing. My couch was damaged by the renovations team and it took over a month to have it resolved. I have experienced leaks from the unit above me three times, and the walls have not been fixed for months from the leaks despite numerous promises. The renovation work was shabby and is overall a disappointing living experience.

          Im sorry I cannot do that at this time Also, my spare key from my apartment was hanging on a hook in my apartment since I dont use it along with the old mailbox key from before it was rekeyed and someone took the key. Management needed my key to make another for themselves too. And someone has been in my apartment when I wasnt here that wasnt an identified member of management so I dont know who it is but wonder if they used the missing key.

            Potomac Towers is at a perfect location near courthouse. Commuting to Washington DC is quick and convenient. The amenities are great, especially the gym and free yoga classes, all apartments are newly redone, and the rent is affordable. The staff is friendly and ready to help

              We were a little hesitant about moving into Potomac Towers because of the mixed reviews but we've had an wonderful experience so far. Yes, they are renovating and there are occasionally minor inconveniences associated with that but management is doing an excellent job communicating the changes so you know what to expect. The staff are awesome, everyone is very pleasant to deal with and you can always speak with someone downstairs in the lobby if you have any issues. Things we've enjoyed living here so far: - The pool is huge with a spacious surrounding area - Management meets monthly with tenants to communicate changes and listen to concerns - Large brand new gym - Lockers make it really easy to pick up packages - Plenty of parking - Quick maintenance responses

                Pleased to be here! The staff is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and always accommodating. The amenities like the gym, the cycle/aerobics room, the pool, the dog park, the party room, the convenience store, and valet makes it very easy to unwind right at home after a long day of work. Potomac Towers offer pretty comfortable, carefree lifestyle. I like it!

                  Do not live here. Management does not respond to emails and are not in the office when you get home from work. Ongoing renovations that fail to hit any deadlines will have you living in a construction zone, with doors propped open all day for people to come in and out as they please. Reduction or elimination of advertised amenities from the beginning of the lease period (where they did not make any indications of any plans for renovation). Amenities affected by renovations include but are not limited to: -elimination of 24 hour concierge -Washer/dryer payment kiosk became cash only (there is no ATM in the building) -No notification when packages arrive, and general attitude anytime you ask to have a manager come unlock the "package room" because it is so inconvenient for them (if it is even locked, often you can just walk in to the unsupervised room and take your package without any verification). go read the google reviews; they dropped from 4+ stars to 1.8 stars over the last 6 months when renovations started

                    This show no pet community. It has very difficult to sleep due constant barking. Generally it is a good community with good office staff especially Kevin who has been an outstanding partner since we moved. Location is convenient. Although the upgrades have been good it could have been handled little better.

                      The building is old and has been undergoing constant renovations for years. This means frequent noise, and numerous times that management has seriously disrupted residents lives with in-unit renovations that do nothing to improve the quality of the unit, they just make it look better so they can ask for more rent from the next tenant

                        Is under renovation is frustrating. I know constructions is always behind but they way is been managed is dangerous for the residents and living conditions are not comfortable. The past years I lived here were great, but now theres no concern about the residents during renovations.

                            The renovations really, truly suck.The building is a disaster, everything looks depressing, the elevators don't work, it's crowded with contractors, the noise and smell of materials and paints is atrocious. The work is kind of sloppy, there's paint on my apartment floor and dust and debris all throughout my apartment.

                              The leasing/community manager's office is not responsive, rude, and incompetent. The building has been undergoing renovations since we moved in and it's been a nightmare. We've come home to workers and pipes in our unit without any 24 hr notice. Once the workers did not close our apt door after they were done. The mgmt office staff needs more communication and basic customer service training.

                                The quality of living here has gone steeply downhill since the renovations started eight months ago. I am frequently outraged by the lack of concern for the current tenants. It is clear to me that the renovations are targeted at getting new people in the door rather than actually improving anything. There is no security whatsoever in this building. I wish I hadn't renewed my lease.

                                    The constant construction and lack of communication have made this wonderful place very difficult to live in. The location is fantastic, and I know they are trying to improve the building. However, they do not seem to care about our experience living here.

                                      living in this apartment building has truly been an experience I would wish on no one. It is continually loud throughout the day with hammering, drills etc and has bee since last fall. Not being able to be in your apartment during the day is ridiculous - and i am not just talking about when they force you to move all of your stuff so they can come do construction work in your living space. I am talking about ALL THE TIME. sick and need to sleep in? nope not happening. need to make a phone call from WHERE YOU PAY RENT? nope not happening. the employees that are "taking our feedback into consideration" are non existent. The construction workers ruined two pieces of my furniture which i reported and nothing has been done about it. After living here I will never be living in another Bell Towers Apartment complex because I can tell they do not take complains seriously and have no regard for the comfort and happiness of their residents.

                                        NOISE! Regardless of the renovation, walls are paper thin, it's right behind a major highway, and is in a flight path. Lovely green space is rendered unenjoyable because of highway noise. I can hear my upstairs neighbor urinating when I am in the bathroom. Fun huh? this building is OLD! Mold on window sills because of poor ventilation, crappy window furnaces, you name it. The top to bottom renovations they are doing ARE NOT going to fix any of these problems. PS if you're thinking about moving in, closets are technically walk in but still only have one small shelf and rack. There actually used to be a nice big closet in the bedroom but they chopped it in half to squeeze in a washer/dryer. My opinion? A 700 sq foot apartment is simply too small to have an in unit washer dryer. OH and they still don't know when those will be delivered so don't expect to have those if you're planning to move in.

                                            Horrible. DO NOT LIVE HERE. They have lost my mail, my packages, and they have disturb my living space with renovations when I was working from home. They did not give me any sort of payment back on my rent for the inconvenience they have caused. They are taking away all of the amenities for renovations. Its an old smelly building that won't get better with renovations. The office and manager of the building rarely responds to your complaints. During renovations they unplugged my router and the cords were no where to be found. They didn't respond until A COUPLE days later when not have internet is VERY important and should be treated as an emergency when many people work from home.

We sincerely apologize, not only for the inconvenience caused by the renovations, but for your lost mail and packages. The team is looking into this matter. The good news is, the fitness center is complete, with the exception of windows being replaced - however, residents are able to use it! The estimated date for lobby completion is March 6th, for the clubroom is March 15th, and for the yoga room is April 15th. Hopefully having these dates in mind will help! The team has also added additional personnel to assist with communications, as well as implemented new policies with our contractors to provide a better process of checks and balances. We're hopeful these changes will improve the ongoing renovations and are always open to feedback! We understand during construction your cable was damaged, and the on-site team was able to provide a concession for the troubles caused until Comcast could make the repairs.                                               Awful. All current residents will understand. The renovations are a nightmare. No longer a safe place, both inside and outside. Loud noises on a daily basis, regardless if it is your apartment or not. Forced to live in the apartment during renovation, which is filed with dust, mold and other health hazards. Personal belongings not safe. Forced to pay full rent regardless. Management in charge of renovations: Just plain awful and unacceptable lack of respect with their own residents. Management refuse to answer any questions from residents. They just cut communication with residents and do what they want. Many people have moved out and many more are in the process of moving out. No longer one good thing to say about Potomac Towers. I do love their "automatic" response to all the reviews. They don't even take time or care, to actually read the concerns. They just reply with the same exact message every time. Pretty ridiculous to do that. Shows how much they really care.

                                                I am going to try to make a long nightmare into a short review. Shopping for apartments in Arlington can be difficult because it is a great area and very expensive. I will tell you I don't often complain and the concerns I have are serious. I came to this apartment about two years ago. At first, the only real problem was the clueless staff. This didn't matter at first because all I needed them for was getting my packages. Then came the construction. No one was warned about the construction and leases were renewed without informing the residents of the construction. The whole building is now being torn apart at the same time. There are construction workers coming and going throughout the building leaving trash and destruction throughout the entire building. Not great if you have pets or children. There have been multiple car break-ins and tires removed ( in Arlington!!). They have decided to destroy the bedroom closets, kitchens, and bathes in ALL units WHILE WE ARE LIVING IN THEM! They do not even offer discounts on rent or relocation! I have never heard of an apartment renovating units while people are renting them without consent. We have tried to fight off construction but we were told we have no choice. We come home to dust filling our apartment and dirt everywhere. The staff never has a clue what is happening and are completely useless. I can not stress enough how horrible the management is here. NEVER MOVE HERE. Even after construction is finished you will still be paying staff who do not care about you and that is unacceptable. Tonette is the worst communicator I have ever experienced in my life. She has no skill set to do her job and Luis is no where to be found. I hope my frustration can protect you from a terrible investment.
