The apartment building is quite old, but the spaces between buildings and the abundance of trees create a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The management of the apartment is not very good considering the high rent. It faces Bellevue Way and is also close to 520 freeway thus transportation is convenient.

Unit and community is nice enough, but communication on important matters (permanent parking reductions due to construction, addressing concerns about repeated fire alarms and fire dept arrivals, break ins) would be appreciated instead of notices of mixers and Easter egg hunts. Maintenance staff have also been condescending to myself and my wife, only for them to realize they were not understanding our concerns. Office staff seems forgetful. Our car was also broken into in the main parking lot and door handle ripped off, with minimal done by the management. That's resulted in +$500 in repairs needed. Rent was also raised by the max 10% after one year, with no option to negotiate due to "the algorithm". Our upstairs neighbor moved to a different unit in the community to take advantage of promo rent. A lot of work and makes you feel like current residents are not valued vs. prospective tenants.

Luxury features lole closet door knobs falling off, towel rods falling off walls, shower curtain rods will also need to be fixed. A clearly cracked toilet tank will take the inexperienced maintenance several tries to correctly diagnose and fix. Uncomfortable radiant heat makes you feel like a turkey in an oven being cooked all winter. Dog owners don't pick up after themselves, making even walking on the sidewalks a gamble. The tiny cramped bathroom is cold all winter and the toilet paper holder is so close you'll be squashing yourself to one side perpetually. We also didn't have a mailbox for over a year because the company was cheap and couldn't believe recieving mail was a privilege, not a right. Because of their shirkful attitude a simple mailbox replacement was made extraordinary dramatic and drawn out. A real luxury experience.

Location is convenient but buildings are OLD as they come. Lots of issues now and then with heating , things breaking because they have been installed ages ago. The plants in front of homes are not cared for and the mailbox situation is weird as everyone shares a common mailroom that everyone has access to , so its easy for your package to get stolen if not retrieved immediately.

Kaeli is very helpful and accommodating.
She is a good listener and very helpful at knowing where all the units are located and which ones are coming up. She has been really responsive via text, email, and she is helping me find a unit that will work well for us.

The buildings have been upgraded and are nestled in lots of trees which for balcony lovers, it is very peaceful. Great location; close to 520 and 405. More sq. footage to work with. Price is great.

Fixed same day
They arrived same day, determined the issue and fixed it in under an hour. Much appreciated! They also didn't make a mess and cleaned up what water leaked to the ground. So I had no extra work to do. Also the fix improved the overall function of the toilet.

I was sexually assaulted in my apartment, someone with a key accessed my apartment in the middle of the night. The company ignored the seriousness in this incident me and tried to make me feel as if it were my fault. I contacted corporate however no one ever reached out. I'm not finished on this regard. The cannot seem to keep staff as there is a great turnover, very shady. The apartment is old the bathtub had the ceramic pealing, the doors caked with dirt and grime, the toilets were too dirty and stained to ever get truly clean, the dishwasher broken since move in, maintenance checked and said nothing wrong, never used the dishwasher in a year. The furnace broken for 3 months before being fixed. My mailbox was broken into twice. The garbage piles up weekly leaving rodents sifting through the garbage and there is an increased problem with homeless in an around the property with people sleeping in their cars. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

BELIEVE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS! We read all reviews before we applied this apartment but we thought it would not be us. We were totally wrong. All complaints from the reviews are TRUE. Trust me! I lived in several apartments before, and this is the worst worst I've ever lived. 1. We applied this apartment online before we relocated to this area. When we moved in, we were shocked by the poor and old condition in side the house. There is terrible odor in the whole room and in every cabinet (all the things I took out from the cabinets/drawers still keep the odor to my new home). 2. Staff there aren't friendly at all. They never solve problems. You have to call them hundreds of times for any service/maintenance. 3. There are always homeless in the neighborhood. There were a string of break-ins during I lived there and the only thing the office did was to claim there would not be responsible for any loss. 4. READ YOUR CONTRACT CAREFULLY before you sign it. There are so many unfair clauses. Due to the reasons above, we moved out before lease term. Thus we paid 3 months more rent plus advanced water&sewer. After several weeks we received an additional bill for 1600$ and they said they have to repaint all the walls! It is ridiculous since we just lived for 6 months and we took care the apartment as our own house. All of our previous apartments charged us below $100 for some small damages. And they transfer our case directly to debt collector without any notice. 5. During the 6 months we lived there, all my neighbors moved out. Now I know why they all moved out… All the experience in this apartment are nightmare for our family. Please, think twice before you decide to move in.

Before you apply for this apartment. Please, watch out its system which makes double bookings and takes application fee. I applied for the apartment through online webpage following its instruction on June 25, the result was that the room(unit 10) which I applied was taken 4 days ago. The company tries to make a lease contract with 2 different future residents. I am so confusing what it is online fraud by a big company? They did not update availability denying my request for application fee $80. The online application page should be accurate and well maintained, especially It has to do with money. But the company failed. Its property manager still feed back to me and I don't know how to deal with this. More worse part is that the website still shows the room is available now. This ridiculous thing happens in Seattle where MS and Amazon are. I hope the company should make it right not to make more victims. Moreover its online webpage put a wrong floor plan on a unit. Please, watch out before you pay application fee and do not believe its website.

What I like about this appartment : 1. Its proximity to SR520 and Bellevue downtown. 2. Bigger rooms 3. Cheaper rents compared to other apartments in the neighbourhood. What I dont like : 1. Old apartment. 2. Poor maintenance. In the 1 year that I stayed here the staircase or the corridoors were never cleaned. The corridoor carpets are terrible to look at. 3. Yellow/ Blackish water in the pipes due to rusted old pipes. 4. Old appliances 4.Maintenance guys are not responsive. Many complaints are just closed without addressing. 5. Most apartments are dull and dark. Not built to receive adequate sun light. 6. Mail boxes are very old and needs replacement as they barely stay locked.

PROS: - This apartment complex is on a great location: +) On bellevue way, walking distance to QFC (which has a little park too!) +) Its 25 minutes walking to downtown Bellevue. +) Quick drive to Seattle, just hop onto 520, you will be there in 20 (unless you hit major traffic) - Community landscaping: +) Very well maintained and looks great overall - Maintenance: +) Maintenance personnel fix problems quickly, great experience CONS: - Safety: +) I met 3 people on this complex in a period of 2.5 years living here. +) There was a break into their apartments to all 3!! in a single year +) Apartment Owners appear not to care about the situation: No additional lighting, no cameras +) Security patrol will come in at the same time every night, break-ins occurred in the day - Staff: +) Misleading payment guidance and fees +) Got sign-off when returning apartment with no remarks +) Then got a $700+ bill on the mail for 'additional fixes' +) Manager could not be found (unsure if it was employee trying to fix it herself) +) Collections agency calls after 2 weeks I left - Credit history impacted OVERALL: STRONG NOT RECOMMENDED

The maintenance staff and management here is amazing. It's such a well maintained complex. Extremely green and beautiful. They are extremely prompt in case of an emergency. The Regent has such a great location, and I love that they have all the facilities one would want- swimming pool, gym, business centre. I moved here 6 months back and am so glad we made this choice!

DO NOT LIVE HERE! SAVE YOURSELF FROM ENDLESS HEADACHES AND FRUSTRATION! The building itself is fine (nothing praise-worthy) but it's the "management" that is terrible. More specifically, a woman named ------ ----- - who is in charge of the place. For someone who is supposed to exude a spirit of customer service, she instead is always crotchety and unpleasant. What's worse, she doesn't do anything except make excuses for her lack of problem-solving. If you send her an email with a complaint, don't expect anything to get resolved! If there's an issue with their payment system, you better have the foresight to address it with them or you'll get a late fee! If you have an expensive package arriving to their office, you better pay for insurance because those clowns in there won't let you know when anything has arrived! This place is a disaster and it is because of it's leadership, or lack thereof. It will be interesting when the new Property Management comes on board. Let's see if they put up with this ----- or if she'll be canned....

1) Don't let them fool you with "luxury". There is nothing luxurious about these apartments. Pretty sure they found the cheapest products possible other than the kitchen appliances. Yet they charge rent as if the "wood" floors are actually real. They aren't even laminated! Ours are peeling up. 2) Read the reviews. One or two bad reviews is one thing, repeat bad reviews is truth. This is a fee happy, profit focused company and they will deny it as the day is long. Some staff are friendly, but be weary of the manager. You may get a friendly facade in the beginning, but in the end good luck. Don't be a fool like us and find a customer service-focused complex. Most of all, don't believe the lies.

Management generally good, responds to maintenance problems fairly quickly. Washer/driver in unit works fine, never had trouble finding parking for extra car. Overall not a bad place, but I'll be moving out because of noise factors. The walls are pretty thin and you can hear neighbors talking, showering, etc. SR520 construction noise (very close especially if you are at the end of the apartment property) and people congregating with their dogs in common grounds add to these factors.

I really like living here. We like that they are pet friendly and spacious units. While they are older and we have significant issues with cabinets, door handles coming off, and especially creaky floorboards, they are very prompt with maintenance requests. We love the size mroe than anything and the location is great. As some have mentioned, heating bills are high, especially in the townhome units. Unfortunately, this will likely be our last year at the Regent. The rent has consistently gone up 10% 3 years in a row and they indicated that we are paying "below market value" when we inquired this year and that yes, it would likely go up 10% again. We just can't keep up with hike increases of almost $200 monthly- so will be priced out of the unit this year. I think this complex does seem to have more short term residents (I am convinced it's where all the Clyde Hill and Medina husbands live while they are waiting for their divorce to be finalized). When we moved in we expected to be here for a long time so I just think other people moving in who want to stay put for awhile should know to expect this.

The good: The apartments were very nice inside, spacious, clean, and the grounds are kept very nice. The walls are thin but I think the noise level depends on who your neighbors are and what they do, no matter what apartment complex you live in. The maintenance staff is friendly and always fixed problems very quickly. Overall the place is quiet and the gym and sauna were nice perks. The bad: They are priced quite high. Also, the management is extremely misleading when it comes to your deposit and have no intention of giving it back. We were told multiple times we'd get the refundable portion of the deposit back, and we left the place in excellent condition but still didn't get it back. We were told they needed to do work to the inside, but that's what the non-refunable deposit was supposed to be for. Overall we felt lied to and taken advantage of, which really sours our whole experience with this place. If they have no intention of giving back the deposit they should just say that up front. This is obviously an issue because multiple reviewers have mentioned the same thing.

The Regent is a wonderful place to reside. Their pet friendly policies and ample parking make living there very convenient. The public schools that children attend who reside there are excellent. The interiors are lovely and the grounds are well maintained. Everyone in the office that I spoke with was friendly and professional and the maintenance crew was personable and quick to respond to requests and inquiries. It is located in a prime location with beautiful neighborhoods to take walks in surrounding it. A QFC is just a short walk away which makes life just that much easier. My family (including our pets) truly enjoyed our time there.

The apartment are ok, but the staff in the leasing office are rude, unprofessional and do not accommodate even minor requests. They do not try to assist residents or their family beyond what is written in their policy which shows lack of commitment to customer service.

I have lived in this community for 6 years and all I have experienced is wonderful management. Whether it be the office staff or maintenance staff it has been wonderful. I can say this person, whom ever it is, must be a problem resident because myself and other resident I am friends with here have had nothing but great things to say about all the people working here. This is offensive to me to see this in the community that I love. Mr. Vona
