Good starter apt.

I moved into the Woodcreek apts. in the year 2000. It was a great starter apartment for me and my son, lived there for 3 years. It was our first place of our "own". I liked that it was two story. I was a two bedroom in the back of the complex. The owners kept the lawn mowed. I didn't use the laundry room on site, others in the complex did not take care of it, leaving dirty underwear in the washer or just forgetting about their clothes. So I didn't like hauling my laundry to my parents house every weekend. These apartments are older, which require more repairs. My kitchen lights keep burning out secondary to the upstairs bath-tub had a leak. My son developed asthma while living in these apartments, I'm thinking related to mold, maybe in the walls from tub leaking. But over all, good starter apartments. I met my best friend and her son while living there and we are still neighbors in another neighborhood! But I agree with another person's comment...these apartments are much better than the ones right next door.

Good Start...

I have been living here for almost 7 years, I am ready to move out. I have been through Many managers, our current managers have a lot to deal with and therefore are dropping the ball on many things. We just got a new maintenance man so hopefully heaters, light fixtures...etc (the small stuff) will be getting fixed/replaced soon. I do not personally use the laundry room anymore, but when I did, it was nice. The washer/dryers were new, back then (about 2 years ago). there are 4 of each, so plenty of space for your stuff. If you go late at night, you can get 4 loads done in 2 hours. Any low-income family who is desperate for a place, this is a good place to start.
