It's a decent place to live. It's close to stores and eateries and the mall is close by. I don't like that the maintenance is slow, it took months for them to respond other than that I really like the area.

Overall it’s been FANTASTIC! Tiffany and Jarrod have made living here like a dream! If I died right now and went to heaven I think this is what heaven would look like! Everytime I need something done they’re the people to call! We haven’t had people like him since and old staff Mike got promoted! So Avana is the place to live as long as the rent stays under 1700 a month.

The staff in the front office are kind and polite but the things that need to be fixed around my unit are not getting done. I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t even ask anymore. I just learned that this is what I have to deal with until my lease ends. It’s sad and unfortunate but for me to keep putting in work orders and nothing is getting done and fixed or maintenance telling me they’ll be back but never returning. It’s just a waste of my time.

Apartments are decent but not worth fighting with the front office every time something breaks. You have to wait months for them to do anything all while they never send out mass emails or update the community to explain why it’s taking so long. We either have to call and hope we get someone in the office (who will shrug off any complains) and not the call center or wait around and hope they get to our request eventually and go without major appliances for months.

These apartments are advertised as "luxury" apartments. They are not that, at all. Cheap cabinets painter over in a sloppy poor manner. Cheap light switches, door handles and doors. All cabinet doors are janky and falling off the cabinet. The entire apartment has a sloppy painted over job. Dont lease here.

Apartment was filthy upon move in. Good in fridge, old cook ware, cabinet doors weren’t mounted straight, light fixtures broken, drywall was chipped and unpainted, smelled like cat urine and the ceilings in the kitchen were covered in grease. Carpet was replaced and cabinets got mounted straight. We ended up either living with the remaining issues or resolving them ourselves.

When I first walked in, I noticed the cleaners didn’t clean. I noticed the maintenance team wasn’t done working not even that they had to come back the next day to finish the job so when and then, when I asked to pick up keys earlier, they said no because cleaners and maintenance were still working and then when I got there, they were still working and had to come back the next day. I’m still waiting on some of my items to be repaired.

there’s rats! and dog poop everywhere it’s way too expensive for not even real stainless steel appliances.. Maintenance is so behind. it takes going into the office 20 times before something gets done. Half my apartment needs maintenance. I don’t even have one of the bathroom showers working no closet doors on laundry area since i lived here.

Maintenance is poor, Do not take resident issues seriously. They provided broken dryer during move-in and not fixed for more than 1 year They closed maintenance request multiple times without fixing issue.

Staff is friendly but the poor maintenance service has a taking its toll on us. We’ve had issues with our dryer from the very beginning and now it’s been 3 weeks without a dryer and we’re not even allowed to get our own because it violates our lease. At this point we need a new one but I don’t see that happening. It’ll likely just be another patch job that won’t work. We’re frustrated.

Deplorable Living Conditions

My daughter moved into her apartment with it looking like this. When she went to pick up her keys she found that is was not clean. Urine stains on the carpet and feces on the walls. Numerous items that should have been fixed. This is CONSUMER FRAUD. This should have never been rented out. When confronting the office staff with the pictures she was told it would be cleaned. If you have this same experience with them contact the Arizona Attorney General's Office Consumer Fraud Department and file a complaint. This corporation needs to be under legal scrutiny.

We have been living here for a year now, and we are long time residents (10 years at our last community) and we fully intend to be here for the foreseeable future. Our experience has been nothing but excellent thus far. The leasing staff has been so bright and wonderful to engage with, especially Jarrod and Tiffany. They make us feel heard as residents, and our feedback and concerns are always taken seriously. I have not appreciated Greystar properties in the past, but whatever sorcery is happening to obtain top tier talent here - Keep it up! It's so important now, especially the time we live in. We love living here!

I have been disappointed with the management here at Avana the last few years. There is an extremely high turn over rate of employees, there seem to be a lack of communication among staff which makes it difficult if you need anything done. Maintenance is always understaffed and orders are left incomplete for months or closed without any notice. The playground equipment is old and unsafe.

It’s a nice and quiet community, and I like that it’s in close distance to a lot of stores. The apartment is also nice, and staff has been responsive to my questions and concerns. I just moved recently but I am enjoying it so far.

You really do not want us to spread our word about our experience here. Lol!! STAY AWAY!!! We our actively looking at other places to go. The property Manger is very good here, but everyone else is garbage. Even was threatened by the maintenance manager at one point. The guy tried to fight me. But was told there was nothing they could do because wr didn't have VIDEO, but had 2 witnesses

Avana Chandler is by far the worst place I’ve ever lived. The grass behind my apartment was always full of water. They were charging me for renters insurance even though I had it from the day I moved in and their records showed I had it. They gave me a hard time when I asked to be refunded. Maintenance came whenever they felt like it, whether it was an emergency situation or not. The property manager Tiffany is rude and does nothing but make excuses.
