I’ve lived in my apartment about two years now. When I first moved in I was very impressed by the overall management of the complex. My motive for moving in to this apartment complex due to a comment made “we are very selective on the residents we rent to” as was said to me while on my introductory tour and the office staff was very welcoming and humble they made an effort to know you by name. On this tour it was noted that most of the residents were single professionals, and the complex appeared serene. As the 1st year went along various complex gatherings breakfast, BBQ’s and etc. <br><br>Now, I walk in to the office and it’s a cold feeling, management is having personal conversations in the office and ignoring the fact your standing right in front of them. We have yet to have any complex social events. A letter was placed on my door for being a .01 cent short on my rent. The complex is being occupied by residents I would not consider management is “selective on”. I’m not sure if they are just moving in residents to maintain a quota. <br><br>The maintaince men have been the only consistency here, they are a pleasant smile you can count on from day to day and their service is beyond expectation. <br>

Beautiful construction...crappy location!

This apartment has so much potential. It is beautiful...........but it's in a terrible location...and the operations aren't the best. The management has changed four times in one year and things are not so great. the parking is awful...good luck parking your car other than in your tiny garage or in front of your garage. God forbid you have more than one car, because there are not enough parking spaces to accomodate all of the residents. Then when you park in front, you get a nasty note on your car saying you must get up early and move it into a spot...right! Also, you know how they tell you the pool is heated year round? Wrong! It's not, you may want to get a petition like my boyfriend and I had to do to get it heated. Don't jump in in mid-january before you test the waters first. We almost got hypothermia! Anyways, on a positive note, it is a gorgeous community...just in the middle of the ------!

Subpar experience

I lived in the Raven for about a year and realized that living in the apartment was only half the experience. The other half is the staff. The aprtment wasn't too bad (Quite a few problems, but it is after all, an apartment), but the staff was aweful. If you expect smiles, this is not your place, if you a staff who treats you like a valued customer, you might want to look somewhere else. They could care less whether or not you stay or go, and will do nothing, and I mean nothing, to go out of their way to make your experience better, don't even ask. awesome place to call home

I have lived at Retreat at the Raven for two years and I love it! Prices are resnoble for great service you are getting. Also I love the fact that they give you great special with Raven Golf Course, 1/2 off tee times!

Don´t be fooled by it´s looks

I thought the apartment was going to be nice because it looks beautiful from the outside. Everything went well for a couple of months but then everything started to break. The stove, the washer and dryer, doors would come off the hinges, the air conditioning, the toilet, the garage door just to name a few. The management was always nice, but I feel I made a relationship with them by making service calls.

great community but????

great place to live but the place seems to have more and more crime and african american residents. surrounding area is cleaning up but still a huge minority area

Luxurious and Secured

We were living in this apartment for about a year. The maintainance is the best ever! They were responsive and job performance was awesome. We have never had problems with parking, there was always spots open. The landscaping was beatiful, the interior was well-constucted. We had to leave this complex because the pricing was a little high, but it was defintely worth what you pay for. They kept the groud, pool, and fitness center clean. The staffs were professional, and understanding. There wwere couple of time when some kids were having late parties, complaints were given and worked out right a way. Overall, this place is definitely worth paying than others.
