I am a senior and have lived here for two years. I like the grounds and the staff is friendly and helpful. They are prompt with their maintenance calls. I enjoy the grounds and the walking trails. I wish they had more activities for the mature residents. Otherwise I do like living here.

We moved into the Homecoming property in 2009 and moved out in 2013. We should have looked at other places when our lease was up, but due to the proximity to our jobs, we stayed. Overall we enjoyed living at Homecoming, but did experience a garage break in. For a property the size of Homecoming (not to mention the high rent) security needs to be upgraded. We never had a final move out inspection even though we waited two hours for maintenance to show. We left our unit clean, patio and garage clean. The carpet in the high traffic area needed to be cleaned and we expected to pay a carpet cleaning fee, but we were blind sided by them keeping 821.00 of our deposit to replaced carpet in the entire unit. Unfair. It's not over

A very good year
My wife and I moved into Homecoming last June, after living in our home of 27 years. We wanted to try "Condo" type living before we purchased. We chose Homecoming because of it amenities and general environment. The staff has been nothing but great to deal with and the maintenance department is exceptional. I'd seriously consider this property as it's just got everything.

Really a very homely place to live in
It is almost a year since we moved out of here as we had to move out of state. We still miss this place. Everything is great about this place. The Floor plans, the staff, the pricing, the lovely landscaping so well maintained week after week, etc. Staff is friendly all the time while renting, renewing and moving out. You wont hear the neighbors at all - thick walls ! Great place for teens, kids and friendly dogs. The location is great also. Lots of new developments around the area. Close to the outlet mall too. I don't know about schools as our daughter was just a newborn then. Our experience was very good and I am coming back after almost a year to leave a good review as for the same price in another state we are not getting the same service as here.

SCHOOLS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD - BEWARE!
I L.O.V.E. everything about Homecoming at Eastvale - very true for me so far! With that being said, I am thankful to all those who wrote before me and will found it especially helpful to check out all written policies when moving out ( I will check all guidelines, ask questions and get things in writing as a safety precaution). I love the space of my townhouse, The Greensboro, and the added patio and garage. I have rented another garage for now to store my outdoor toys and find it very convenient because when I don't need it anymore, I don't need to worry about some contract. $50.00 is cheap compared to a storage unit, and it's onsite. I love the staff and they are here to always help with any questions, very polite and always having time. Treat them with professional respect and they give back 150% all the time - I can't say enough amazing things. My townhouse repairs have always been fixed within the day or next - completed by somebody new each time, and each time, each person has been very professional and polite - quickly done and done right. My little family uses the pool, gym, BBQs, movie theater, game rooms, and have even been able to settle down for homework with two boys, and myself read quietly/grade papers in the library. I have been a resident here for 15months and just signed a new lease, and I plan on being here for several more years - indeed. It's just too good. Yes, a little pricey. I wanted to move here several years ago. However, I was still in school, getting my Masters, and supporting myself and two boys. I'm very much more established now, and am able to afford it comfortably and still save for my future home. At Homecoming, You Get what You Pay For. My safety and quality of living is worth every penny. So, why am I writing this review? It has nothing to do with Homecoming at Eastvale's quality of living. It has to do with the schools within its boundaries. I am grateful I never took my children out of their schools before I researched the schools around here. I thought it would be awesome to have my youngest child picked up right in front and dropped off very close to home. SAFE SAFE SAFE Right? Pedley Elementary School is 'our" school folks! Have you seen it? I drove by today. Horrific! I teared up because I'm a teacher. "Am I in a 3rd world country?" I wouldn't be caught working in that neighborhood, let alone, have my son ride 6 MILES on a school bus that costs me $250.00 to ride for the year. I know that's not much, but I'm not a dumb with my money - just because I have it to spend doesn't mean I'm going to throw it out the door. All nagging aside, I wrote a review, and let the school know I would be happy to volunteer my help to clean up the place - even if my son never goes there. Let me help! Unfortunately, children don't have a choice where they live and they still do need a good education. I'm sure the teachers there are credentialed and probably wonderful, but gosh and golly. So... what if I (you) want to live here at the "Happiest Place On Earth" and don't want to send my (your) kids into the "slums" for school while I work too? ANSWER: OPTION 1 - Some fudge their addresses or keep old ones OPTION2 - Look into private schooling around your work OPTION3 - I'm not rich, don't want to lie, and still like public schooling? Charter schools are an excellent option and they are free with small class sizes. OPTION 4 - the only one left... You can do an Inter-district transfer to another school, if, your school is a title one school and one the the list for sever recovery needs. MInd you, within the Jarupa District, "if" there is room. Don't even think about Corona/Norco district that's only 2 miles away from us..they're full, always. I hope this helps folks!

I Love Homecoming at Eastvale
I love everything about Homecoming at Eastvale. The property and grounds are always maintained and manicured. The staff is impecable! Whenever there is something that needs fixing, the maintenance crew is on top of it. The pool is fabulous and looks great with the new furniture and umbrellas. I love my single story unit with the two car garage and huge patio. My dog likes it too! It's hard to find a great place to live that takes big dogs. I plan on being here for a while...

Good until you move out!!!
Living at homecoming in Mira Loma, 92883, was good all the way up until a month after we left. Parking was always a little annoying, even with ample parking, you are quick to get a tow notice if you leave your car over night without a overnight pass. The speed bumps (small mountains) are borderline annoying, help maintain safe driving speeds. The freeway could be a bit loud out times but thats just the location. my main complaint is with their early lease termination policy which is very misleading. we were told at the beginning of our lease that if we moved out early we would have to pay a one month penalty unless they were able to lease our unit within a 1 month notice. about 9 months into our lease we decided that we would move into a house that we owned to save money. We gave notice to Homecoming with our intention of moving out, they made us pick a date one month out. We called about once a week after our 1 month notice and after about 2.5 weeks we were told that our apartment was rented and given the date that new tenants were going to move in. at this time we made all necessary arrangements to move, including a moving truck and new service and cancellation of services. We spoke with homecoming to inquire payment of final months rent which we were told would be prorated and we were give an estimate which we wrote a check for, we turned in our keys and left, happy and satisfied. We were told by the staff that we should expect our deposit check in the mail within 2-3 weeks, minus any fees for cleaning, carpet cleaning, and painting. myself and my wife were there for 9 months, and very clean, no pets no kids, nothing on the walls, and the carpet was replaced before we moved in. all this being said, we received a bill from lewis, the parent company for over 1700$$$, they then subtracted our deposit of 600$, 230 for cleaning and one month base rent of $1430. When called to inquire about the bill, we were told that they did find a renter but they backed out so we were responsible for the rent again. they could put it back on the market but would need to charge us 2 months in advance... if that makes any sense, we only had 2 months left. to summarize, our move out date was July 16th, we are being charge up until August 16th, our end of lease was sept 8th, which they were raising the rent for our 1 bedroom. renters beware you will see little of your deposit if any, if you dont terminate your lease early!!!

pls explain the reviews on yelp?
I WAS thinking of moving here and seeing these "YES" and 4 star reviews make me really suspicious if this is being filtered. So, i have devised a way for potentials and management to see this post by scoring 5 stars when it really is not. On yelp, I read recent postings that reveal some details that left me quite disturbed: unfriendly staff esp. managment who seems to unfairly bill you/ return/take your deposit, teenagers running a mock at night, police having to frequent the area, bug infestations, and management handling mishaps or compliants as if they were never filed. The community, pictures, and amenities are so inticing but reviews like yelp help bring things into prespective: Never judge a book by its cover. Thank you yelp reviewers for your honest reviews.

Homecoming at Eastvale
Homecoming at Eastvale is one of the most accomadating and peaceful places you can live in the Inland Empire. The grounds are very well maintained, with many of the residences having a beautiful view of the mountains. There are many ammenities at this location; such as 24 hour fitness center, tennis court, basketball court and a fabulous resort style swimming pool. The kids have access to a library, computer room, billards and theater room. The place is simply perfect for my wife and my boys and our dog!!! Our family enjoys all of the monthly activities that the staff put that serve as a extra incentive to win great prizes and discounts on monthly rent. Lastly, the entire staff is just wonderful and always attentive to every request and concern to resolve it in an expeditious manner.

Pleased with our experience so far.
The staff has always been courteous and professional. Whenever we have had any kind of problem, they have come through for us. There are a wide variety of activities for kids and adults and they do a good job in maintaining the grounds.

My opinion of Homecoming at Eastvale
My son and I moved here in August of 2010. So far, we are pleased with our townhome. We like the extras we get just for living here like the continental breakfasts once a month, the discounts at shops and restaurants and the "special events" just for residents. I noticed some people complained about the units being pricey. My response is that yes, they cost more than the average place because Homecoming at Eastvale is not average!

Overall good place to live, but pricey.
Parking: This is usually only an issue if you own more than one car. I was single and was always able to park in the garage. When friends visited, there was usually available parking next to my building. However, at the complex as a whole, extra parking does fill up, and they do try to police it with towing those that do not have a parking pass. I give it a 3. Not perfect, but they try. Noise: Sadly I was by the freeway, and the trucks rumbling by really got to me after a while. It would sometimes wake me as I thought an earthquake was happening. I highly recommend NOT being next to the freeway. I was however pleasantly surprised to discover that I never really heard my neighbors, which I thought might be a problem. Never was. I give it a 2 for the freeway, but a 5 for inside sound. So 4 over all. Grounds: Always looked great. They spend a lot of time keeping things looking nice. I give it a 5. Safety: Although I felt safe, I am aware of a few fights that have broke out with underage kids. Broken car windows etc. I was also very surprised to look at the sheriff's website to see all the crimes reported in the complex. MUCH more than I would have thought. The only main problem I have with the safety here, is that even though it is gated, it might as well not be as ANYONE came in at anytime by just driving in behind another car. It was a VERY common practice and at some times, a little absurd as there would be a LINE of cars waiting to sneak in. For this reason, and for the thefts that I later learned about on-line, I rate safety a 2. There is much more Homecoming could do the improve in this area. I would sacrifice part of the grounds keepers to get some security going on in here and this place could be perfect! Construction: Pretty good. In fact my apt looked great with only a very few minor areas on the stair railing that showed some wear. I rate a 5. Maintenance: I was lucky in that I only needed to contact maintenance twice. Once to change a light bulb that was high and out of reach, and once regarding the dishwasher. Both were fixed promptly. They take maintenance very seriously here. I was surprised however at just how often I would get a notice saying that maintenance was going to come into my apartment for one reason or another. Lucky I was never really home, or this might have been slightly annoying. I rate a 4. Staff: Very friendly. I expected as much from the leasing department, but everyone I ever dealt with was very friendly, and always professional. I rate a 5. Overall: Overall this is a good place to live. They have tons of amenities, most of which you will never use. I would even consider living there again if the price was right, but as I said, they are on the pricey side. The parking, noise, and safety were all things I got use to, but I am being honest when I say they CAN and SHOULD be improved on. Overall, especially compared to other apartment complexes, I rate a 4. Pet policy: The pet policy is a little over the top. I mean extra rent and deposit for a cat? If I had a cat.. IF.. I would not have told them, and everything would have worked out fine in the end. No extra clean up, no smell etc.. That is, IF I had one.. Deposit: Ok, this is a touchy one. Just know you will NOT get your entire deposit back no matter how well you maintain, or clean your apt. I guess I was lucky to have only been there one year in that I did get SOME of my deposit back. I had the luxury to spend almost two full days of my apartment being empty cleaning it. Granted, I did not move the appliances, but every surface was scrubbed down, and carpets cleaned. In the end, it didn't matter because they brought there own people in and re-did everything. Which, on the flip side when you are coming in as a new renter, is great. However, with others I have known who have lived here then moved, they did not get any of their deposit back (Maybe they didn't clean as well as I did) but as I said.. I did a pretty good job, and got about half my deposit back. I was a little disappointed.

looking for an apartment and I'm considering homecoming ...
my fiance and i are looking for an apartment and we were really impressed with homecoming eastvale and terra vista, but after reading the reviews, I'm worried and scared!! I don't want to look like walking dollar sign. I understand that there are good and bad things about every community but I'm not sure if the bad out weighs the good or if the good out weighs the bad. We've never rented or lived at an apartment community and I don't want this experience to be one that we'll regret. Can you please offer some advise or recommendations? or perhaps other apartment communities to check out? HELP!

Great Place to Live!
We have lived here a Homecmoming for almost a year and everything is great! We did have some issues with the maintence when we first moved in but the problems were very quickly resolved. Homecoming is a great place to live if you have children. There are two parks that i am aware of as well as two swimming pools and trails for the kids to ride bikes etc. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept up. They even offer a Free of charge fitness and yoga class. We are very comfortable here and would highly reccommend Homecoming to others. Beautiful place to live!
