It has been very difficult to reach anyone in the leasing office. I have called multiple times since last Friday, including today, but no one has answered or returned my calls. Additionally, the lock on the gate door between the elevator in Building B (CVS side) and the resident parking lot has been changed without any prior notice. I was not provided with a new key and only discovered the change when my key stopped working. Because of this, I now have to walk a long way around just to get to my car, which has caused me significant inconvenience. This lack of communication is very concerning, and I would appreciate a prompt response.

    This place is a complete nightmare! Management and maintenance is utterly useless—repeated reports of broken security gates, sketchy strangers wandering in, and faulty locks, yet NOTHING gets fixed. Zero support, zero safety. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

      It’s very hard to have any work orders done, nothing is maintained and nothing is followed up. Very frustrating as a resident. If you need anything done, you have to contact them multiple times and even then they will respond to you one out of twenty times.

        I have lived here at La Plaza for 4 months and I am very pleased. Amenities are great and the proximity to major freeways makes my life a lot easier. Parking and security are also great perks. Have not had one issue with neighbors being noisy. The Gym and Pool area are two of the best I have seen out of any complex in the Chinatown, Little Tokyo, Arts District area. Being walking distance to Union Station makes life easier as well.

          I love my apartment unit, the amenities (pool/jacuzzi, excellent gym space), and I love the proximity to restaurants and accessibility to DTLA without being in the busy bustle of DTLA. The maintenance team needs to be requested multiple times to actually complete their job, and even then they don’t usually do it well. Management is unimpressive and slow, not very supportive. Security team is friendly and do their job well. The environmental services workers keep the area clean as best they can being in DTLA.

            These staff and building maintenance are subpar and the community in decline. There’s foul odors in the parking lot and the leasing staff very unhelpful and poorly managed. Very frustrating and offended by my experience here and had a package at my door stolen

              Its very clean an quiet my only complaint is people putting trash out in the hallway without a trashcan . And the homeless people are taking over the area . I wish the city would step in a get these people off the street .

                I would not recommend living here mostly because of the poor management. The building itself and amenities are nice which is a plus but if anything ever goes wrong, good luck getting a hold of management and getting help or resolution from them.

                  Is like pulling teeth to get things done. I’ve had packages stolen, see homeless people in the garages and I’ve had to call security to kick them out. Got my ring camera removed twice by homeless people walking into the building. People do Airbnb here and you see strange faces all over the gym all the time. They leave the gym messed up and yet no one cares.

                    It's an okay community. Most of the time residents keep to themselves. The neighborhood has many homeless around that often yell or could be disruptive during the early morning and late hours. Nobody picks up their dog poop either, which is pretty off putting.

                      Living in this apartment complex has been an incredibly positive experience, thanks in large part to the exceptional maintenance team and the overall quality of the building. From day one, it’s clear that the property management takes pride in keeping the community in top shape.                           The apartment is the nicest apartment I've ever lived in. However, when we first moved in and we're in the process there wasn't a clear line of communication and were left to contact the leasing office directly multiple times to figure out if we had even gotten the apartment. I haven't had to talk to a property manager since but that did make it less likely to want to.

                            Living in La plaza has been the best thing. From their cleanliness to their management, their staff, their maintenance guys are the best, the security guys are always there, and the nice community. We like everything except for sometimes rude neighbors that complain about anything or the people that make parties and take the whole amenities to themselves. Other than that everything is perfect!

                              This apartment complex isn't managed very well. There is one manager who is given all of the work for managing hundreds of people which leads to response to needed items being ignored. The leasing staff initially placed me in a unit directly above the dining area of buffalo wild wings by one floor which led to severe issues of noise pollution and habitability issues. While the staff was able to move me into a different unit after weeks of me pushing for change, the maintenance of my unit has been challenging with a lack of quicker hot water even in a building that was built in 2019. I would not recommend this community after my experiences, but there are most likely people who live there happily and never experience what I have and I hope no one else has to.

Furthermore, it is noteworthy that, under the circumstances outlined, the resident was permitted to transfer to a different unit they selected, with the transfer fee being waived and a concession granted for the dissatisfaction experienced with the unit for which they 'applied.' Regarding the hot water issue, we apologize for the water not reaching your desired temperature promptly; however, we have engaged three different plumbers to inspect both your water supply and the property boiler, and no issues were identified.                                 Not at the moment; hopefully management team gets a revamp. Noise has increased, there has been fights at the pool common area, people using stairwells as their personal smoking area, wild response to a simple maintenance request, and on and on. The plus is the building is still relatively new - I'd advice to do something about the management team to avoid an accelerated decline in quality.

                                  Disgusting

                                  significant safety concern when my car was stolen. Despite my attempts to obtain information about the incident, including the last usage of my parking tag and access to security footage, I was met with resistance. I provided a police report as requested, yet I was informed that they would only release information if a police officer contacted them. This felt unfair, especially as a long-standing tenant who has consistently paid rent on time. The hallways are filthy, bums always roaming dog urine always left in the elevator I was a tenant for over 6 years and its diminished extremely! the apartments leasing office turn around is so constant Additionally, I faced ongoing issues with the building's elevator, which has been out of service for nearly two years, severely inconveniencing me as a disabled resident. I also reported a defect in my bathtub and requested a replacement, but was told it would not be addressed until I moved out, which I found to be unreasonable. The hot tub is always out of service the bbq grills are never working terrible apartment complex go elsewhere Moreover, shortly before my departure, my new car was vandalized, resulting in over $300 in damages. The management also provided incorrect information regarding my parking situation, stating that I was parked in retail parking when I was in fact in a residential area. I requested proof of this claim but did not receive a satisfactory response. The manager has been unhelpful, condescending, and dismissive.

You are still responsibl e for the final utility payments, statement provided to you and any necessary maintenance repairs, invoice provided to you, as evidenced by the photographs provided, which includes the removal of the trash you left, cleaning of the unit, and the repair to your tub, confirmed by three different professionals was not due to a flaw in the tub but lack of daily maintenance and their professional assessment also shared with you while you were a tenant.                                       Overall La Plaza is a good community, location is great. Easy to get to and easy access to local community events. Public transportation is easy to access which comes in handy to avoid that downtown LA traffic.

                                        Over all it was a good experience. The maintenance staff is great. The go above and beyond for us. Javier even helped me move my mattress to the trash area. He didn’t have to but volunteered. I really appreciate his help.

                                          La Plaza Village is a great place to live. There’s many restaurants around, parks, and walking grounds. The maintenance assistance is exceptional. The apartments are beautifully designed, and if you have fur babies, this is the perfect place for them (there’s a dog park in the building).

                                              Need to fix the elevator and garage door timely. Looks like they were upgrading the lobby but stopped mid way. Also the hot tub seems to be broken. Not sure who’s management is but had contacted for the elevator to be fixed and stated that the part has been backed order. How does a part be back ordered for 1 year?! Ridiculous

                                                Too much noise and pollution around the building. Too many rats near the stairs and insects inside the apartment.
