The touring and lease signing process was seamless. I did a virtual tour and was able to get a full idea of what the apartment complex looked like as welll as all the amenities. Staff was very friendly, responsive, and respectful. The building is beautiful, clean and secure. At move in, the apartment was very clean. The apartment is private and quiet.

The community staff and employees are great. We have seen a lot of improvements and upgrades to the beautification of the space as well as a new gym, landscaping, and common areas. We wished that residents took care of the spaces more but it seems like previous issues are improving. Unfortunately we have experienced rent and parking raises but that seems to be for most of the area.

Very glad to see the remodeling of the main floor, gym, and rooftop area. Would like to see that done for the hallways for each floor. Unfortunately residence allow their dogs to urinate or brush their dog's hair in the hallway. Staff is very helpful, engaged, and friendly. But neighborhood is dirty and sketchy, have had transient couple (including their shopping cart full of stuff) in our lobby at times.

So far I absolutely love it, everything is so clean and organized. For being Downtown it's affordable and conveniently Close to a trolley station for transportation. Not to include the parking garage underneath.

I've enjoyed my time at this community so far. The staff is friendly, the property is well-maintained, and the renovations have been a nice addition. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The lack of flexibility for tenants wanting to move between units is frustrating; charging a fee for someone willing to pay more in rent seems unreasonable. Additionally, while the maintenance staff is extremely friendly, they often enter units without prior permission, which is problematic for tenants who work night shifts and sleep during the day. Lastly, the rooftop grills are unreliable and often don't work. These issues, though minor in the grand scheme of things, significantly impact overall satisfaction with living here.

I have absolutely loved living here. Erik, Larissa and Nate in the office are beyond helpful and have gone above and beyond to ensure that everything has gone smoothly for me since the moment I moved in! The maintenance team, (Bryan, Aaron and Maria) work so hard to take care of the property! I see Maria cleaning every morning on my way to work, and Bryan and Aaron have addressed any maintenance requests of mine within 1 day. I am so happy to call this place my home!

Not good I always keep asking for questions Regarding my bills without a clear picture also I got my car taken twice and I had to pay to get it back to the towing company. Also why I get charge 75 dollars extra if I want to used my debit card to pay my rent.

My experience has been pleasant and the fact that this is a very dog-friendly building makes living with my dog much easier. The only problem I have experienced since I live on the ground floor, there are a lot of homeless people at night arguing and/or fighting not far from my bedroom windows.

The leasing team seem friendly enough just like any place. I like the guy who showed me around though because he let me be honest about what I did and didn't like and tried to see my priorities if I was a good fit for the community. Honestly I was turned off as he was showing me the pictures of the room. Dark and cold warehouses more like. We started the tour with amenities and he took me to the rooftop where the smell of pee hits you as soon as the door opens. Unimpressive set up. As soon as we head down for the floors I tried to stay open but I had to briefly end the tour. He was very polite and just asked for feedback. Not much you can change, people have dogs, dogs need to go. But the rooms looking so depressing, gray, and lifeless is something I couldn't deal with.

There are a lot of similar apartment buildings in this area. What made Griffis East Village stand above the others was the cheaper garage parking, rooftop pet relief area and the smaller tenant population.

Possibly a nice place to live

I took a tour and decided to apply for a one bedroom. The link someone sent me to apply was for a completely wrong unit - wrong floor, wrong price, wrong move-in month, etc. I tried to have this fixed but staff was unresponsive so I'll have to keep looking.

Excited about renovations in common areas.regular hallway carpet cleaning is appreciated could use more sidewalks washings and don't like constant garbage truck activity. The marijuana usage by neighbors has improved-we smell it through the air vents. Limited parking-lacks solutions. Main entrance has strong smell of urine. Would benefit from regular sidewalk power water washes. Need improved main entrance landscaping. Thank you!

It's cool. For the most part quiet. For the price it's a good spot. Leasing staff is helpful and friendly. Maintenance request so far has been easy and efficient. They're doing a lot of upgrades to the amenities, so that's exciting.
