A good environment, quiet, safe, and nature in the city. Love it. There are limited interruptions and decent neighbors. Elementary school walking distant if you have kids. Plenty of parks and close to everything in DC.

Great place, good utilities, wonderful place to be. Living in a 1 bedroom apartment, it is very spacious for the price and I find it very enjoyable. A little disconnected with only 1 bus route, but highly manageable (especially for any Georgetown student) with great people all around!

Pretty good apartment for the price with utilities included. Quiet area, maintenance is usually pretty responsive when there are issues (although there have been very few). Main issue is that the bathrooms don't have good ventilation so the paint on the ceilings peel. But, let maintenance know and they come take care of it.

Park Crest Apartments Has Experienced Maintenance Staffs
I had few things like the tap, sink, and light bulbs that needed to be fixed. I just had to put a request order and in few minutes, Mike one of the maintenance guys came in to fix them. He did not spend that long and everything was done perfectly. Now, we have not had any complain. I am happy to be a resident at Park Crest apartments. Clean, quiet and peaceful place to live.

Park Crest is an older complex, and all the things that come with that are true here. Many of the units (including the one I lived in) were rent-controlled and, as such, were largely not updated. Not a big issue, but it's worth keeping in mind. They're very pet-friendly and while a pet deposit is required, there was no rent increase for having them. The office and maintenance staff were usually quite friendly and helpful on the occasions when I needed them, though that wasn't often. Despite the age, things were generally kept well and worked as expected. The area is quiet, being far in the back of Glover Park, and there was very little to complain about there. Parking could be bad late at night, but otherwise was mostly fine. I rarely had any issues with neighbors, and everyone mostly kept to themselves. Building security was just a key fob to buzz in, so it wasn't unheard of for people to sneak in, but other than one strange event, there was never any issues with crime or anything. Glover Park has no Metro service, which isn't the fault of the apartment, of course, but it's worth noting. There's plenty of bus service, however, however, and grocery stores, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. Ultimately, I liked the place, and would certainly recommend it for to people, but just be aware they raised rent like clockwork, and mine went up over $200 in the five years I was there. The laundry room was two buildings away through a basement passage, which wasn't my favorite, but at least it was there. The app-based machines were somewhat glitchy, as well. I'd have preferred coins, in all honesty. Heat was radiators, which worked almost too well at times, while AC was strictly window units, which was good enough, but pretty much had to be run nonstop during the summer. Thankfully, rent includes utilities, at least.

This property discriminated against oweners of service animals. Throughout a 3 week application process we were stringed along with false promises and given a different move In date 4 times. Each time we were told either the DAY OF or the day before that they were changing the move in date. The fact that they are notifying us of changes in move in dates 24 hours before move in, when we have already called out of work and paid for a moving truck is extremely unprofessional in itself. They than took it upon themselves to disagree with a doctors diagnosis and deny a service animal the DAY BEFORE move in. It is not their job to diagnose us and tell us whether or not we need a service animal, it is their job to look at the documents we provide proving that we need one and if the documents are authentic (which they were) than by law they need to approve them. We felt discriminated against the entire process and treated like children, when we are young professionals who have good credit and the income to support ourselves. This is bad management and bad business, i would advise those searching for apartments to search somewhere else.

Apartment and common areas are quiet and clean which is very nice for a pet friendly building. Staff is responsive with maintenance either by phone or email. Neighborhood is also quiet and just a short walk from restaurants, grocery stores, and bus lines.

It is very safe and relatively quiet; however not close to metro rail; and parking can be limited at times. The actual building, bathroom and kitchen, including fixtures & appliances are very outdated; but work well as they are. Exterior and hallways look older as well.

The apartments are large, and it's a very quiet area. Almost everyone has a dog, but I rarely hear barking inside the building. The price is a good deal, for the area. I don't have a car, but I understand the competition for street parking is hard.

Park Crest has amazing customer service. They have responded promptly to every issue that we've had, and there have been very few issues to date. We definitely plan to continue renewing our lease for as long as we are living in the city. Thanks.

It is a great community for a young or old couple to live. There are many shops and places to eat just walking distances. It's also a safe neighborhood to go for nice walks at any time of the day. There are also the trails to go for walks on when you feel you just need to get out of the "city"

I've lived here for 6 years and absolutely love it. I don't love when college kids move in and think the building is a frat house, but that's a separate issue. There is also a skating rink outside my building during the winter due to the drainage pattern, but there is usually ice melt right there to help. Overall, it's a lovely neighborhood and I don't see myself moving anytime soon.

The process of renting the apartment was very stressful and difficult to get clear answers of what I needed to do - especially being a first time renter. But after that was figured out, everything else was smooth sailing and any maintenance problems have been fixed promptly.

It has been satisfactory overall, with very few problems. The maintenance staff is especially helpful and responded quickly to any issues I had. I would enjoy more seating and communal areas outside, such as more tables, grills, and other areas.

I moved in within the last week and the community has been fantastic thus far. Very helpful staff. The communal gym seems like a very good facility and the laundry services seem to be fine as well. The parking is difficult at times, but no more so than other urban areas.

The community is quiet, friendly, and within a few minutes of grocery shopping. The area is safe and the rental prices are very reasonable for the general area. While there are no direct metro access points, there are metrobus stops within walking distance.

We love the value and location of the community. The staff is very nice and laid back, works with your convenience. I just wish there were better/personalized accommodations for our moving container, but I understand the rigmarole of city street parking. Nobody's special.

The staff is super friendly, the neighborhood is wonderful and safe! You actually don't feel that you live in DC. Even when no metro access is available, the community is just as friendly as it could be. Easy access to parks, stores, and gateways.
