Unfit to live.

Same place leaked about 12 times in the 3 years of living there. Always took about 2 weeks before coming to fix anything,,would then have to bring about 8 dryer fans, whilst having to live in that condition. Unacceptable, someone needs to hold them accountable.

Expect Very low quality life

The Maintenance team is great, unfortunately they management can't control what's happening with the trash on the weekends. Kids go every weekend door to door asking to take the trash out for money. Management has to come with other solutions.

poor workers and switched 5 managements the past 4 years, i have a parking permit that they do not uphold. no rules on lease no signs out and i paid for parking permit and my car STILL gets towed and their excuse is that its not registered into their system and i was in visitor parking with a parking permit, parking lot overcrowded at night, ac been out for over a year and they lost our lease and because management switchover we are being thrown out even though we have our contract they say its fraudulant because they dont have their copy.

I must say that when I first moved in about a month ago I was very dissatisfied with the old property manager due to the fact that when I moved into my unit I had so many problems, from the dishwasher being nasty, rusted and needing to be replaced to toilet problems, stove problems etc. I must say that the NEW PROPERTY MANAGER ---------------- has been taken care of business. She was able to get me a new dishwasher and I am very satisfied. she is very sweet and anytime there is a problem she hops right on it.?? The office staff is also sweet. Maintenance will also come out at a timely manner to get the job done. THAT'S A PLUS. Every time I have had an issue they have fixed it within no time. This property might have been nasty when the old property manager was around but now that this property has a new manager she is running things smoothly and is getting everything done at a timely manner. The concrete steps broke because somebody caved it in and maintenance came out little than no time to take care of the problem. I don't know how they was able to do it, but the steps was fixed within a couple of hours of me calling. ?? I can tell ---------------- is about business. She cares about the needs of the residents, that is a PLUS in my book. It looks as if they are doing some renovations to the property outside that's also a plus. I like it here as the new property manager makes you feel right at home. ????

My miece has lived here for 3yrs. Since Saturday july 4th a/c broke. Called emergency number that goes to sheila perez. She is rude unprofessional. My niece is diabetic and my nephew has bad asthma. Inside temp is 92 degress. This is an emergency. Floors crackling cabinets falling. We still waiting since july 4th. Plz don't rent here.

As a visiter i would never recommand anyone i know to love here. I know ppl tjat live there n seen for myself. And how does tje current office manager bring ppl rents up before their lease renewal and charge them more then is on their lease agreement. That fraudlent. She be trying to get good decent tenats evicted on false eviction process. Nothing get fixed floors under ruhs have hole n sinking in. Lawsuit waitting to happen. Pathway light fixers damaged dnt get fixed. Talk about trash theres always tones of garbage all the way to get entrance nastyness. You need a new manager in ur office who is ppl friendly n willing to take care of the complex n its needs. Ur manager is stealing and lying n from what been said. Has gone into evicted tenants apts and taken their stuff out in moving trucks with her kids. It may be hear say. But ppl dnt make acusations unless theyve seen it first hand. I have advice the person living there to go to court with their lease n rent recipts to prove their not paying the rent according to whats on their lease agreement. But being charged a larger amount verbally. By law a persons rent in state of florida goes up when they renew their least. N a least is a binding legal agreement amoungs office corperate n tenant. You office manager needs to be replaced with a more honiest person reliable human being. I would never recommend ur apts to anyone unless changes are made for the better. Is not rent control subsidce either. Coorprate needs to get more involved with an honiest indivual to run the office. Maintance worker leaving n left because of the office manager there now. Investigate her. N replace her with one who is willing to do her job properly. Before ur rating drop even more. BBB already has report.

During the summer is when the ac units act up and they will not fix it . Worst place to live if you move here you will regret it. Dog ---- everywhere and the owners will not pick it up. Roaches in the apartment and the manager Sheila will tell you that they are coming from out smh. The apartments are full of mildew and mold you wouldn't know right off because they paint over it. The manager is very rude and nasty I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here if you do you would regret it.She locks the pool up when she gets ready none of the equipment in the gym works . Maintenance just walks into your apartment whenever they feel like it.

THE WORSTE I REPEAT THE WORSTE APARTMENT COMPLEX TO MOVE INTO! The property manager Sheila is VERY RUDE and a UNPROFESSIONAL. They took 2 months they kept telling me I was supposed to move out on the 8th of SEPTEMBER but could NEVER provide me the correct documentation "Offer Letter" to move she refused to give me any of my money back! She had the cops called and the provided me with my $100 holding fee. I'll be contacting their cooperate office next week.. You go in there and have to wait about 30 minutes to a hour to even get help! And if you do get help 9 out 10 your problem won't get RESOLVED! I wouldn't recommend this complex to ANYBODY it's outrageous and so unprofessional. Yes, they do have a good price but, know I know the reason CHEAP ISNT ALWAYS BETTER! I would give the apartment complex NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD MY ADVISE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Do not live here. Slum Lord's. A/c was broke and they gave a window unit for a 3 bedroom apartment and here we are 2 months later A/c still not fixed. Maintenance calls take 3-4 days before they respond. Old appliance, old everything. A/c units are filthy. Office cant keep employees, every month its someone new in the office along with maintenance. Office staff very rude and unhelpful. No structure. Grounds are not kept up nor maintained. Right by train tracks so expect to have no good rest since train runs at least 6 times a day including the night. Buildings shake when train passes. Foundation unleveled and is faulty. Pool is filthy so have to go to other apartments to swim, gate broken and allows anyone to come in with no intent to fix. Gas stoves and dryers and property is suppose to inspected to make sure there are no leaks but they fail to do so.JUST RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK. Yes there are cheap but in this case you really get what you pay for. I wouldn't even give them a 1 Star rating but 0 was not an option. Code needs to shut this place down.

This place should be called woodberry from hell woods the property manager Sheila is very rude and prejudice she has a nasty attitude. When it came in to do my application one of the workers said the people who own the property are Jewish and they don't really care about their tenants. I was really pressed for time to find a place to stay so I said let me give it a shot considering I know someone who stays here and she didn't have any problems but she just moved in. I was suppose to move into my place at 1pm so because the apartment was still dirty and the shity maintenance people where still trying to half way fix things my apartment was not ready. The same lady shelia assured me that the unit would be ready by the end of that work day smh it's still things that are not fixed. Long story short these people are full of ---- and once they get you in they are very nasty to you. I've rented from previous places and I have never experienced anything like this ever in my life. Run as fast as you can don't rent here I wish I didn't!

I just moved to Tampa from Europe so I am looking for an apartment. I went to W.W. end of July, I did all the paperwork with Rachel and she assured me an apt. will be available end of Sept. I did the money order for the application fee ($75), and $50 for the holding fee and I provided all the info they needed. I took them 2 weeks to send a fax to my employer, I actually had to call every time to make sure they did. After that Rachel told me my app. had been approved she would call to give me a date, I waited 3 days for the call, nothing. Today I called again, she answered, once I gave my name she hung up, I tried to call back 3 times she kept declining my calls. So I went there, Destiny came and asked if she could help, I told her I wanted to speak with R. since she was the one I talked with, unaware she was the manager. So R. gave her my case and she told me an apartment will be available end Oct., I told her R. said I could have an apartment end of Sept., that is why I chose them in the first place, she looked at me like I was lying and she said they never told me that, but I turned to R. and she confirmed she did tell me that. At that point Destiny told me in a RUDE WAY that if I was not ok she could give me back my money, I told her that is not the way you talk to customers, especially if they provided wrong info. She just went in her office and handed me back my money order, but only for the $50 hold stating the appl. fee is nonrefundable. I told her if that is the case I will just wait because why would I loose $75, she said "No just take your money back because right now I AM denying your application" when I asked for a reason she told me to leave otherwise she will call the Police. I was totally CALM and POLITE all this time, I just wanted explanations and at least have them admit that they did not handle the situation in a proper way, she said she had nothing to apologize for and she called the police. They arrived, she told them I entered the office with attitude, asking to only speak with R. (so that's why she was even mad at me in the first place (Sorry I hurt your feelings Mam' but it's not like you had "Manager" written on your face). Anyway, the police officer told me had to leave the premise so I left, after she gave an EMAIL ADDRESS to file a complain. The $75 for me are nothing compared to how I felt today after that. At this point I am very glad I won't stay there so I won't have to see nor deal with that person ever again.

This place is unprofessional. I have a gym key to the gym which most the equipment is BROKEN too, but the treadmill still works. I go at night after work which I don't get out of till very late. Recently they were closed due to broken AC which was broke for A WHOLE YEAR and I go in because a girl took the sign off only to get told by two girls I've never seen before in the office at midnight to get out of the gym, which I bought a 50 DOLLAR KEY for and is suppose to be 24 hour access, because they have an audit and signs are up. NO I saw the same girl take the sign down because the AC is FIXED now. I pay rent here not to be talked to like trash by two young girls who i've never even seen in the office before. Yet I see them playing in the gym with THIER DOG!!! HMMMM some audit!!!

So I went to visit a friend at this apartment complex and as you can see from the pictures that I posted there are no signs, no markings of any sort in this parking spot at all that state no parking, handicap, resident parking only or sheriff's parking only......nothing at all it's just a plane old parking spot. So I park my car there and go in for about 10-15 mins. I come outside and my car has been towed away and I had to pay $140 to get my car out of impound. Had I known or been made aware that my car would be towed parking in a REGULAR parking spot I would not have parked my car there. Let's be truthful who wants their car to be impounded? I know I sure dont. Beware of this apartment complex they are shady and work with a shady towing company out of Tampa. DO NOT TRUST these crooks unless you want your car towed as well.

I have been living at woodberry Woods for a year now, the lady that take very care of my housing an had me sign my first lease was destiny, she has been very help with everything that has been going on with my place, there was a incident that happen here in march with a dog on dog, an yes a lady get bit, yes that was my dog, an yes I was there,an I didn't not leave at all, I stay til the end an was going to court for it for 6 months.. an I apologize to lady an take care of her medical billing an everything an since than me an the lady have remain good friends since than, destiny was nice to talk to the people for me an I didn't everything they ask me to do and since than they have not heard nothing from my apartment or anything that has to do with any dogs.. An because of the my friend an miss destiny and god I still have a place to stay. But since I've been here this place has been everything I need and I love it. The people here are very good, and the miss destiny the best landlord I had.

I have lived at Woodberry Woods Apartments for 5 years. I could choose to live somewhere else but there are so many things I love about being here. I love the convenience, the proximity to where I work, where I shop, and the main roads if I want to take off on the interstate to downtown Tampa/St Pete. Plus, bus lines, sheriff, fire and rescue services are close by, and there are so many wonderful people and families living here. When I was getting close to signing my lease for the 6th year I was hesitant. The apartments had sold and I was never notified of the change. Things just started going downhill fast. The lady that came in as manager was a horrible person to deal with. If she had stayed here I would not have stayed another year. It only took her a few months to totally change everything that was good here; even the landscaping! She was fired. Since then, things are getting fixed and EVERY SINGLE DAY there are improvements being made. I like the new manager and her staff and what they are doing. (I even saw her picking up trash off the ground outside!) I feel she is fair, and committed to making this a place people can be proud to live. I realize everything won't happen immediately, these apartments are 20 years old! And remember - this is low income housing. Overall, this is a place I would recommend to my friends to live, and I have!

Don't rent here! this is not a good place and manager (---) is worse! --- stop talking about superficial and regular maintenance done in property because that is what you should have done since you start working as a manager not now in last weeks. Lets be honest volleyball nets are something needed every month, the paint on playground looks nothing but unprofessional plus not mention how long it took you to do it, pressure washing these buildings is not been done right, its looks almost the same, not mention that all this requires time that you are sucking from maintenance team which one is short, may be because of you(I've been noticing to many good workers leaving as well as new ones also leaving), and WE HAVE PROBLEMS IN OURS APTS NOT DONE YET! Pls DON'T be trying to look good in front of your bosses patching this property outside only instead of taking good care of peoples who lives here, these apts are falling down inside You ---, in many residents opinions are NOT good in costumer services, not a realistic person, only making promises that vanish in the air, stop telling lies to new residents about how these apts really looks inside, we deserve RESPECT and good care of -------- peoples.

I lived here for a year now. New Management is the worst ever. --- (Manager) is so cruel with the renters. She does not have empathy or sympathy with the renters.All she wants is to make money. Old Manager is way way way better than ---. Before it was a nice place to live in but now it is a ------ place. I will not ever recommend this place or you will regret it forever. Most of the staff are nice but --- as a Manager is not helpful at all.
