Love living here, by far the best community have been apart of. The area, the food, the events, the amenities are amazing. Truly the best location in the city. 5 minutes from the beach and so many great places to walk around

READ BEFORE MOVING HERE: ****I am editing this review.**** To see Greystar's regional manger's reply to this negative review, please see the bottom. Instead of addressing the issue, they have tried to intimidate me into leaving the property and signing an NDA. Appalled. When you first enter this building you're greeted by the very friendly staff. They are warm and welcoming and immediately make you feel like you want to choose this building over the other buildings in the neighborhood. I'd love to say the experience has been consistent to my previous statement. Virginia and Aileen are exempt from this review. They do a great job, and have been pretty attentive in everything they've done during my stay here. I've lived in high rises for the past 9 years, and not once have I had to contact the administration or the unit owner to complain about anything. I have only lived in this building for ONE MONTH, and I've had to complain at least 10 times. The front desk is probably tired of hearing from me. 1. The pool is always green. Potentially dangerous bacteria can form without a proper chlorine balance in the pool. The algae on the bottom of the pool needs to be scrubbed off. 2. My apartment has been entered (or attempted to be entered) on 7 different occasions by the construction workers in the building. 3. There was a dangerous chemical left on the grill with the main ingredient being 'Sodium Hydroxide'. There was no notice left on the grill saying not to use it. I preheated the grill for 12 minutes and cooked 3 steaks for 6 minutes before I was notified that I should not eat the food due to the dangerous chemicals. (My 4 year old son was minutes away from ingesting a potentially lethal amount of sodium hydroxide) 4. I have contacted Joyce, the regional manager of Greystar in South Florida on multiple occasions to no avail. It seems they only care about getting people to move into the building instead of ensuring a pleasant stay once residents are here. 5. One of the front desk attendants refused to allow one of my guests to enter the building. He left her standing outside during a thunderstorm. I was told the proper protocol is for the front desk attendant to call the resident, and confirm they are expecting a visitor - then send the visitor up to the unit. I can only assume the management did not train this front desk attendant before putting him to work. I truly hate complaining about the issues I've had in the building, but no one seems to care that my experience here has been unsatisfactory. The units here are extremely nice, and the community could be so great!!! I really wish the management team could get things together, so my family and I could enjoy our stay. This building has great potential, however, it's just not up to par yet. This is Joyce Rinck of Greystar's reply to this review: "Good afternoon Zach, In reviewing your recent posting we feel that we will not be able to live up to your expectations. With that being said I would like to offer you a one-time opportunity to vacate without any lease break fees. You could pay rent thru whatever date you're in the apartment within the next 30 days and simply vacate the apartment. We need to know your decision prior to rent being due for August 1st so we can give you the pro-rated amount and have the below documents signed prior to August 1st. As long as you leave it in the same condition as when you moved in their will be no additional charges other than the rental amount and utilities. If you agree we will have our attorney draft up a lease break and non-disclosure agreement that you will need to sign. Please let us know. Thanks, Joyce"
