Highly Recommended
Highly recommended! Me and my family just moved in last August at the beginning of the school year; no complaints whatsoever; my two boys are extremely happy and the new NTS management make us feel like home; always with a BIG smile... They are courteous, friendly and real helpfull; since day 1. I saw lots of competitive nearby projects/units and nothing could beat interior/ exterior condition of the unit I got, plus we have exceptional recreational amenities and a beautiful secure neighborhood. Again, GB apt's is highly recommended...

graet place to live
this is a great place to live. Since NTS Corp took over, all repairs are done in a timely and thorough maner. The office personnel are friendly and efficient and the building exteriors are schedueled for complete renovation, including the roads. Also, each apartment comes with an attached garage and an exterior storage closet. The only thing that should be added to the grounds is some sort of playground for the children. Let me also point out that Judy, Shannon & Kathi are just wonderful people in every way, friendly and out going and are willing to do anything to make us happy.

Great place to live.
I moved in to Golf Brook Apartments in August, 2009. Having come from a house I was concerned about the privacy issue, no back yard for the dog, parking, maintenance. I must say that although I've only lived there for a little over a month, those concerns are not issues any longer. NTS Properties has just taken over again and their attitude is excellent. The maintenance staff, although totally overworked, always do their best to get to your issue in a timely manner. The neighbors have been very pleasant and I feel like I'm in a home rather than an apartment. The ladies who work in the office are very nice and always try to help you with whatever you need. Everyone has dogs and walks them regularly. For the most part, the neighbors pick up after their dogs. (Not everyone though...it would help if there were dog walk stations with doggie baggies and trash cans). Other than that, I feel like I'm living in my own "little paradise."

RUN!!!
I moved into Golf Brooke with my wife and son mid 2008, now a year latter I have moved out to another complex due to the lies and deception the staff gave me with in my year at Golf Brooke. When I first moved in there was a bug problem of spiders, flies, and fleas. The air conditioner was not functioning properly and ran all day with the thermostat set at 74 , imagine our electricity bill. And to top it off we were given the wrong apartment. I was touring with a childrens show when my wife found Golf Brooke. She took the tour and started discussing with the office of move in costs approval and all the usuall headache subject of moving in. They told my wife we would be getting a bottom apartment liked we had asked for since my wife has a bad back and I have bad knees. We later found out after paying all the fees and deposits that we would be getting a bottom apartment. The infestation of insects and the a/c problem would not have been an issue with me if they hadn't taken THREE MONTHS to resolve it. I was home for a week to move in then left to go back on the road again. Three months when I returned home for another break nothing had been fixed. On top of the insects and a/c there was a major roof leak that began to grow black mold. I had a talk with the property manager of the issue and asked why it was taking so long. She responded with it was never reported, but when she pulled out the move in report there it was, they were all listed right in front of her face. I wrote them a notice of our lease termination right by the state of Florida and our rent withhold right by the state of Florida and they threatened to just kick me and my family out if it came to it. They refused to give us another place of living until the black mold was cleaned. In conclusion it takes them an eternity to fix things, management lies to you to get you to move in and to to get you to stay, and the place is turning into a frat house when I moved out. Your rent includes landscaping costs, but you never see the landscaping guys there. During the winter time buy a leaf blower and a rake because your gonna be doing it if you want it done Your water is free, but expect a high rent and about a $300.00 electricity bill.

Great Place to Live
We recently signed up for our second year at Golf Brook. We have found that people here are friendly and Brenda in the office is great to work with. The maintenance staff is very quick to make repairs. We looked at several apartments in this area but they were all too small and most of them did not include a garage. We have plenty of room and we're very comfortable. Mike & Mary Collins

no warning about rent issues
When I signed my lease in March of 2008, I was told verbally that I would be paying 1208.00 a month. I signed my lease with trust that that was what I would be paying and I did for 9 months, then on the 19th of Dec. I recieved a letter on my door stating that my rent will be raised to 1703.39 because I have been paying the wrong amount for the last 9 months and was shorting the managment 169.00 a month. So to fix this problem they would for the last 3 months of my lease devide the amount up and add it to my correct amount of rent which they stated was 1375.00 which then made my rent 1703.39. I went to talk to them the very next day and when I looked at my lease and theirs there were no numbers stating 1208.00 a month or 1375.00 a month, so now I have no proof what was told to me except that I have been paying 1208.00 for the last 9 months by check, which they cashed without hesitation or without telling me it was the wrong amount. I feel that this is wrong ethically and morally yet when I told them that if it was a mistake made by them they need to cut the cost and I would happily pay the 1375.00 a month,if that was the real rent for the last 3 months of my lease, but seeing that I was never told this I should not be held responsible to pay for a mistake they in the office made. Now I realise that when I do move out at the end of my lease I could lose my deposit because of this complaint but I simply can not allow this to happen to someone else without me saying somthing, that would not be right.

Going downhill fast!
NTS was a great management group and 90% of the reason I moved here. Now the apartment management is slow to repair anything and they are letting the grounds go. Very little improvement has been done since they have taken over. To believe these apartments were at one time going to be sold as condos! They actually asked almost $300k for a 2 bedroom apartment just over a year ago! That was the price as well as a hefty monthly association fee. I would only say move here if you MUST be in the Brantley school district. Otherwise stay away! It is only getting worse...

From Glamourous to ------!!!!
My roommate and I moved into Golf Brook in Nov. We loved how quite it was and the fact that the community was mostly adults. People were friendly and you could count on someone waving hello as you walked or drove by but I should have known form the day I moved in that there would be trouble. First, I pulled up with my movers to find that my apartment was not ready! Remember I had movers I was paying my the hour. 3 Hours later, yes I said 3 hours later, the apartment was ready for us to move into! Trying to get maintenance to service your apartment is a joke. Your given no time frame so you basically have to wait ALL day for them to come, I'm being serious here! One time when my roommate had to go to work she said she was leaving at 5 so they better come sooner, the guy showed up at 4:55!!! Another thing is that they are constantly changing maintenance people. I've seen more people go through that position than I've I've picked up my mail! I've reached out to those in the office and have been told lies. My roommate was told a couple weeks after we moved in our apartment would be painted because when we moved in it had not been cleaned, when I called the office a couple of months ago to find out when that was to take place I was told they had no idea what I was talking about so they would investigate it and get back to me, here we are 2 months later I'm still waiting to hear from them. I've reached out to their corporate office, left messages with several people and have yet to hear from anyone. For being "luxury" apartments, I have to say that overall management and maintenace is very ------ just like the people they are starting to rent to. ------ breeds ------ and has ------ friends so not only do we now have low class neighbors but they're friends that come to visit are just as bad! Run while you still can! We plan to very soon!!!!

Disgusted!!!
When I first moved to Golfbrook the quality of people and living were outstanding. Everyone was considerate of other people living around them. There were rules that had to be followed and everyone abided by them to make living here such a pleasure. The grounds were beautifully kept, the grass was green. All of the neighbors new each other. They were luxury apartments. Now I would consider Golfbrook to be almost ------. You have company trucks parked everywhere, which was never allowed until this new management took over. The kids run everywhere, up and down other peoples driveways, skateboarding. Don't get me wrong, I have kids, but once again this was not permitted and I made sure my children respected other peoples property. Loud music playing, drunks hanging out on the porches until all hours of the night. For the rent we pay, or should I say some of us pay since they are trying to rent to anything we should have a better community. But since they keep lowering the rents, all we will get now is trash. We never had any problem with theft. Not now. Stay away!!!! It's not worth it.

Great Place to Live
These folks really care about providing a great place to live. Best example of this was the effort they put into ensuring the hurricane cleanup was as expiditious as possible. Golf Brook was cleaned up much earlier than any other property in this area. Great Job. I also enjoy the floor plans and think that the apartment is definitely worth the rent. Highly recommend Golf Brook.

What an awesome neighborhood and community.
Golf Brook is such a nice community. It is very unique and has a very home-like feeling. They have the best staff, the office and maintenance have always been very friendly. If you are looking for a place to call home, there is nothing else like it. Great schools too!!
Don´t Fall for GolfBrook
We moved from another state and were offered 3 different "deals" from 2 diff people...ended up getting a deal that wasn´t as good as was dangled to us. During the initial walk-through, the walls hadn’t been painted, there were nail holes everywhere and not one cabinet had been wiped out. The linoleum in the kitchen was very bad, (the manager muttered that maybe it should have been replaced, but was not...) and the places where there should have been light bulbs (ceiling, garage, and kitchen) there were none. The garage was such a mess, cobwebs and debris everywhere, plus small trash and small toys lying about. It was as if this particular apartment was marked off as being "cleaned and ready" but no one every checked it, and it must have been overlooked? The back area had dead planters left by a previous tenant...they looked terrible, but were still there, never removed. We were promised a "move in gift basket", containing fruit, touch-up paint, coupons, etc... We never got this. We rented appliances from the complex that did not work, so they were removed (we ended up buying our own) and instead of crediting us, we were charged the full month rental fee (we only had them 6 days). To top it all off, the staff was handing out holiday gift fire-logs and cards with bows to each resident...as the lady put one on my next door neighbor´s doorstep, I was excited, that we would get one too, we thought this a very nice gesture...well, she looked over at me and saw me watching. She said that I was crossed off her list to "not receive one" and she asked if we were moving? Well, yes, we were moving, but not for 2 more weeks! I guess that really topped it off, they didn’t need to waste a card or gift on someone who wouldn’t be there next month....All in all, it was a terrible choice. Parking was a disaster, the neighbor had a big-screen TV against his wall, which was our living room wall...so it sounded like a rumbling storm every single night. Even the gardeners (who shoed up at daylight) were not polite and stared into my windows each time they came by. We were also mislead on what utilities were included in the hefty rental price. We were a family just looking for a lovely place to live. We are generous, easygoing people who never seek out the negative. We WILL next time, investigate more for ourselves, and not trust the showy office or expensive literature.

Not worth the Money
Live there for about a year. The cabinets and appliances look like they are from the 70´s. Maintentance staff is terrible. The pool was often green with Algae. When I was there the pool light assembly had fallen apart an was hanging inside the pool with the electrical wires exposed. It stayed like that for almost 2 weeks, while people continued to swim.
The fitness center is a joke. The weight machine was broken the entire time of our lease.

They advertise these units as luxury apartment homes...Maybe they were luxury when they were built 15 years ago, but now they are run down and certainly not worth the high rents they charge.

I would not reccomend Golf Brook to an enemy.

Worth the price of admission
The staff is top-shelf, maintenance doesn´t just patch problems they repair them right the first time. Its a quiet and safe neighborhood which is probably why so many famlies with young children reside here. The units are very well appointed and maintained. Overall the only negitive is the parking, which is not horrible, yet.
