I have lived at Altair for a little over 6 years. I love my 2-bedroom apartment where I can watch the world go by out my two sliders and double bedroom windows. Managers have come and gone too quickly for the most part. Maintenance is awesome although this building should have at least two maintenance people. Hallways are kept clean.

I love my apartment. I have independence, and yet community of people my age. I have one problem however and that's because my apt, is right next to the dumpster. There are some wholes in the walls. They now have been patched . Hopefully this will work for. Thanks for being on your toes about everything.

Excellent Senior Community with Caring Staff & Great Amenities!

The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance is quick to respond, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The location is convenient and close to shopping and dining. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable senior living community.

Close to downtown, also have access to bus line and stores, management is great we also enjoy the clubhouse involving different activities doing the week,we also have a fitness room, pool room to play pool,we love the theater room movies once a week, of course the swimming pool is closed in the winter season but we enjoy the pool in the summer we can also have a few guest the location is close to the water and stores, etc?..

Awesomeness

Put new wheels on patio door and now work perfectly. Also people above me are putting grease and food in garbage disposal and it all backs up on me Eric is quick to tend to it. It's overflowed several times ruined the counter. Our property manager has approved the funds for a new counter which is awesome im patiently waiting.The Altair is getting better daily, we have a great team here hope they all stay!!!

Im pretty happy, except that there is hardly any activities .when they do have one it's not communicated very well if at all! It depends on word of mouth and if you'renot in the circle or on upper floors you don't get the message.

Some good some not so good, we've gone through many property managers, maintenance staff and just when we think their doing great they leave. Hoping Dawn ,Eric stay they ate a good team and making a difference. They say they will fo something and they do it!

The upkeep of the building and the grounds is excellent. The staff goes out of their way to take care of a resident's needs. There are activities planned all month long which make it interesting and gives residents something to look forward to.

The grounds are full of trash and it looks terrible. The pool is green most of the time. I have been there a year and on the 3rd manager. Ran poorly. My fridge door is all rust. I have never ending bugs. I hate it there.

The office staff is kind and understanding. It's very quiet due to being a seniors only complex. The neighbors are friendly. There is easy access to public transportation, and sure nearby. The balcony view is great.

Great!

I love the neighborhood it’s in, very quiet and peaceful on the outside. When entering it’s very peaceful and pretty. Property is very well kept up. I always notice Stacy taking great care of the property. Making sure any kind of trash is picked up constantly. She takes pride in her job. The staff is very welcoming. I would definitely recommend, 10 out of 10.

I have nothing bad to say about this place. They take care of the residents here. They keep it clean and are quick to fix any problems. When I moved into my apartment every was brand new. The stove, carpet, microwave and fridge. It's a great place to call home. I love liv here.??

My girlfriend and her Mother live at The Altair. Most of the people that live here are friendly. The pool area is so nice. It’s like an oasis. Everyone seems to like that there is bingo and sometimes karaoke.

I dislike that my rent can be increased after I already signed a new 12-month lease, and that the building is infested with bed bugs. On the other hand, Altair is a relatively inexpensive place to live.

New staff

Very happy with the new staff. Stacey will be an amazing property manager. The new maintenance supervisor Curtis is very personable and is always quick to respond. Thank you for keeping Stacey near by. We really like her.

Very helpful information.

I inquired about an apartment for my mother. Stacey was very helpful with putting my mother on the waitlist. There are so many things to do on site. The laundry room is really nice and the movie room is huge!

The Altair is a great place!

I like living here. The rent is cheap and you got a lot of stuff to do. Like bingo, movies, dominoes, scrabble, trivia, gym and I heard the salon is gonna open up soon. The staff is the best people since I lived here.

I love my home!
