Terrible. Structural issues causing delay and inconvenience. Things are always breaking, cars have been stolen and broken into the past month.. things are always breaking and amenities have become difficult to enjoy due to implementation of new rules.

Don’t even think about it!
I am a current resident trapped here. The property is shameful behind the curtains. Visit on a weekend and see for yourself. The grounds are filthy, trash constantly overflowing in the receptacles. Instead of them just keeping things up, they remove the bins from the parking garage floors. Now people just leave the trash on the ground. Each floor had a trash chute which is broken daily, so trash just piles up in the rooms. You complain, management does nothing. Take a look at the walls, inside and outside. Less than a year old and no upkeep. The weekend is generally when working people are at home and socializing. You pay thousands in rent, yet you’re too embarrassed to have company because things are dirty and the entire building constantly smells like marijuana. It literally travels through the vents. No need to worry though, because there’s always a group in the parking garage smoking as well. So you won’t miss that bus! There are two elevators and one breaks weekly, better hope you’re not inside of it! Now imagine a building with 17 floors, hundreds of people trying to go up and down with one elevator CONSTANTLY! Now, while you wait for that single elevator you are guaranteed to melt, because there’s no air conditioning in the hallways on resident floors. So imagine this bizarrely hot summer heat, and now picture you standing there for ten minutes waiting on that solitary elevator. You’ll have a great view from the large windows that are sure to grab your attention when you visit, but the homeless people littered about the property and surrounding it will obstruct any view you have. So those dog walks that you envision will be bombarded with the smell of urine or you stepping over a homeless person asleep on the sidewalk in front of the building, as it sits next to, and across the street from two shelters. Although the tenants are diverse, it seems to me that most are of lower quality. All you need to do is take a gander at the pool on a Saturday. The weed, alcohol, hookahs, and music blaring will be sure to leave you confused. And lastly, the power surges in the building. I’m six months in and I’ve been unable to get out of the parking garage twice. My level of understanding has diminished. Inside of my unit has not had issues and I do like the layout, but that’s the only plus. This place is a dump.

Almost good for the community ,staff. But there are some in convenient things. Like delivery person can’t deliver stuff or food to my room, they can’t even get into the building. Another thing is that water is small and sometimes broke in 17th floor. But others things are very good, I like it!

The leasing office has been helpful and kind, and all of the facilities are well kept. Pool is clean, common spaces are regularly cleaned, and issues are fixed promptly when they arise. I have had no issues with noise so far inside my apartment, especially at night. Love it here!

Intrusive and excessive noise late at night and early morning hours has been unbearable at times. Night staff does not have the authority to do much about it. All other issues at the apartment seems to be addressed successfully by management but this issue of late night and early morning excessive noise does not get much attention.

I would not recommend the complex it has not been a luxury living environment from day 1. I will not renew my lease. Homeless in the elevator n smells of dog urine. Entrance doors prop open, mail not delivered

Generation is a community full of divers tenants of every race and age. This apartment community is a fun and relaxing place to live. As residents, we have the option to hangout in various areas throughout the complex other than our apartments. The amenities are wonderful and relaxing with a rooftop area that is breath taking of the city skyline. Our community is very close nit and this building hosts a lot of event that make us feel valued and brings us together like a family.

Good security considering the area the building is in. Parking is operated pretty well and the common areas stay clean. Gym needs some changing in terms of laying out rules. Other than that we’ve had no huge problems here, only been a resident for one month though.

The building and grounds are not taken care of at all. This is not a luxury apartment complex by any means. Do not live here. The leasing office never returns phone calls or emails. I had high hopes for the property but it did not meet my expectations.

Good management is something that's rare in most apartment communities, but Generation's is stellar. They make it easy to contact them and they're very responsive in a timely manner. They stay on top of keeping the premises clean, especially the common areas, and making sure that everything in the building runs smoothly. Although I'm a new resident, living here has exceeded my expectations so far. I feel very safe, and the location is incredibly convenient for downtown living. I've really enjoyed it so far, and I'm happy we chose to live here.

Beautiful building and amenities. Grounds and common areas are not very well kept up - overflowing trash cans, irresponsible pet owners (in stairwells - really gross), and around building, very nice staff, great community events. Over priced and they nickel and dime you by making you pay separately for parking, pest control, water, electricity, Internet, cable, waste water, insurance, et.

DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Save yourself the headache and DO NOT move here. I had been here for 7 months and was very much in love with the complex and the luxury vibes, I NEVER was a issue to my neighbors or the leasing office, but everything went downhill once new staff was hired. Majority of the time concierge does not even do their job. You have to go downstairs to get your own food deliveries & guest. Elevators are always down so it takes forever & a day to either get to your apartment or to the parking garage. Your car will continuously get booted and you will have to pay regardless that you are a resident there. I even had to add my mom to my lease because i have two vehicles and lived in a 2 bedroom, they told me only one vehicle was allowed. There is always wild & loud parties going on, but as soon as I played music in my apartment on my TV, the police was called on me. The next day the assistant Manager Chrissy, takes it upon herself to come bang on my door & threaten my boyfriend & I, that we are on her radar and if something else happens on “her property” she’s going to evict us. This was my first encounter with her and for her to say all that was very distasteful. You pay $3100+ in rent and get treated as if you are NOTHING. Unfortunately my apartment caught on fire & flooded, the leasing office was not heartfelt about the situation at all. They treated me as if I set my apartment on fire & flooded it on purpose. One day, Caitlin calls me on the phone, but I overhear her in the background gossiping about me to someone saying “Jasmine in 1709 I’m sure you heard about what happened” Yet, I didn’t say anything I let her slide. They refused to transfer me to another unit and still tried to charge me rent for May when I did not even reside in the unit for the month of May. I HATE I moved here.

The experience was great at first. Within the last year, it seems the staff prioritizes doing their job over providing a good experience. Taking into account the busyness of more residents, it would still be nice to get the personable and accommodating service that’s marketed upon arrival.

Very nice amenities, none of them worth it with how the on site management behaves toward residents. My car has been regularly burglarized inside the garage I pay 50 dollars a month to park in because they refuse to get the gate fixed. Elevators constantly broken. Being told straight up if I didn't like it here to get out. Wholly unprofessional and easily one of the worst experiences with a management team I've ever had. I've lived a lot of places and have never been treated so poorly or even just outright ignored.

it was good initially, but i had a bad experience. on dec 31, the guy came to fix the alarm for fire in my appt, he couldnt fix it so it rang all day and then all night on the 31st. i had to book a hotel and it was a struggle. next day and night also it rang. i had to sleep in a club house with people partying and lights on, the third day the concierge did not help me and insulted me, again i had to sleep in the club house for the night. safety compromised, dignity as a woman compromised. hearing loss. terrible. nobody helped including the management stating it is not an emergency. how is it not an emergency if there is noise in my appt whole night? can u plz explain how can i sleep in there?

Unfortunately, my experience at Generation Atlanta greatly declined once Greystar took over management of the property. The staff has been rude, the property is dirty, the trash doesnt get picked up, the pool wasnt properly maintained, residents are made to feel unwelcome, the staff is unresponsive via email and phone, and when you bring any issue or inquiry to them in person, you are made to feel like a huge inconvenience. When Lincoln managed the property, they took time to get to know each resident and make everyone feel welcome. The occupancy of the building may have been lower at that time, but they actually cared. The new management has turned this building into a cash cow, which Im sure is pleasing to the owner, but the renewal rate will be drastically lower than what it wouldve been if we had a better property manager. The property itself has great potential if it can be managed properly.

The community is very warm and welcoming. Building is well kept. The ease of access to the highway is great. The amenities are outstanding. The parking is no longer convenient for our guests as it is no longer free. Our guests now have to pay a fee to park in the garage depending on the amount of time parked. Our guests should be able to park at our home for free. Street parking isnt ideal as it is usually fully, and not monitored like the garage. It is also not fair.

Paul Anthony was my leasing consultant and he was excellent. Our first apartment we toured had a stain on the carpet. He got right on it and called the cleaning crew and also moved me into a brand new unit on a better floor with a better view.

Trash trash trash Im just used to something different. Something is always wrong. The trash is a huge issue . There is a group chat and we all have the same concerns. It feels like daily the elevator is stalled . Its like the just threw the building up with little care to detail .

As stated prior, concierge needs to be consistent and follow protocols with visitors. The ferocious dogs must be on a leash. The smell of dog piss must be resolved. If these things improve, I would consider resigning and referring the complex to other people.
