Zale
Snapped this picture of the property manager zale changing the trash and taking it out. I don’t think in all my years of apartment renting have I seen a property manager picking up trash and cleaning the property. Most just call maintenance or someone but Zale literally gets up and does it. He definitely tries hard. I tell him all the time he needs a vacation and a raise for what he does. Is reply is always “just leave a reviewâ€ so that’s what I’m doing. Hes great

Chill place to leave
The location is great, close to restaurants, Ponce City, Piedmont Park and easy highway access. Rent is standard for the area. Not a lot of amenities, gym is small but pool is maintained well. Wish we had more resident events but not a huge complaint. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a clean and quiet place to live.

Love it
Came in a couple weeks ago to visit Jamier. He had originally helped me at another location but unfortunately the apartment I saw was taken. He informed me he would be at this location going forward so I stopped by to see an apartment and their availability. He is absolutely the best. He answers all the questions, showed me all the amenities and is full of knowledge. His manager also came out and greeted me and asked me questions about the tour. The property was clean. I talked to a few residents who said they enjoyed living here as well. I ideally do not want to live in Midtown but would choose this place based on the office alone

Nightmare on Cityview Street
If I could give this apartment complex negative stars, I would. From the moment I handed over nearly $1,000 for the last week of rent, a security deposit, and other fees on February 22, 2025, it was a nightmare. The incompetence, dishonesty, and sheer lack of professionalism displayed by the staff—particularly Community Manager Kitty and Assistant Manager Zale—are beyond belief. First, let’s talk about the mailbox fiasco. After paying my hard-earned money, I was informed that I wouldn’t receive a mailbox key. Not on move-in day, not after two weeks of trying to settle in, but only after I had already paid in full. They first claimed they needed to make a key, then said they had the right key, and finally admitted they didn’t have the keys at all. This level of disorganization is staggering. But the real horror show began on the evening of February 26, when I arrived to move into my apartment. I opened the door to find all the lights on, the water running, and the dryer going. Inside was a homeless man who casually informed me he had been squatting there for weeks. Let that sink in: a homeless man had been living in the apartment I paid for, and the complex had no idea. Their solution? Offer me a new apartment, a Ring doorbell, or a refund. I chose the refund, which they promised would be issued the same day I returned the key. That was a lie. First, Community Manager Kitty told me she would send the refund link. Then, the story changed, and Assistant Manager Zale claimed he would provide it. After returning the key, I was told a third-party agency would send the link within two business days. Suspicious of their ever-changing story, I decided to look into this so-called third-party company. Guess what? It doesn’t even exist. This is not just incompetence—it’s outright deception. It’s now been almost a month, and I still haven’t received a refund. When I asked for proof, they sent me a vague payment invoice that doesn’t even mention a refund. It’s clear they have no intention of honoring their promise. This place is a disaster. There’s no security, no accountability, and no integrity. The leasing office is disingenuous at best, and outright the worst in the area. Save yourself the headache and avoid this complex at all costs. I’m now forced to seek legal action to recover the money they’ve essentially stolen from me. Do not make the same mistake I did.

Bad Customer Experience
I am disappointed with the customer service experience here at 251 North under their new apartment management Greystar. After consistent miscommunication regarding my move in date, the status of the unit, and also the price of the unit I was told that I could either get a full refund of my deposit and application fee or choose the unit as is although that’s not what I committed to. These people did a full credit check on me approved my application and took my money just to tell me what I was looking for I wasn’t going to get and there is nothing they could do for me. Again, this is after showing the model unit (assuring it was the same tier as my desired unit) , approving my application and accepting a deposit on my desired unit. All of this could have been prevented with transparency and communication all around!! Unfortunately this is not an experience I am willing to tolerate surrounding a potential LIVING situation. I’ve been highly disappointed with Greystar as the communication barriers have consistently been met with pointing fingers of blame and a lack of accountability over almost a 3 week span of seeing, applying for and even paying a deposit for a unit. Ultimately, the mistake that was made by a mister Joquin turned into a very large inconvenience that trickled down through a Ms. Camilla, and then Mr. Louis before being somewhat rectified by Zale and Dante. Although Zale and Dante did state that they are doing their “best” I am beyond disappointed by this entire experience, and the time and money the lack of professional communication has caused me. Running individuals credit is not a game nor nothing to be played with especially when looking for a place to live.

I have been highly disappointed with this complex since the moment I moved in. They management team was highly unorganized with the process of moving in (I went into the office and they didn't even know that I had applied with my roommate after we had moved in). Since then it has been downhill. Maintenance does very poor patch work fixes and I have been very disrespected by the management. I have been very unhappy with my experience and suggest living somewhere else.

I have enjoyed living here for the past 8 months and would recommend this place to anyone! The staff are always, professional and courteous! The landscaping is everything in the Spring! There's so much to do on the grounds-- with outdoor grills conveniently located near the swimming pool and break area, a 24 hour fitness center, laundry room and business center! Furthermore, the location is everything, as it is conveniently located near downtown....so everything you need is pretty much in walking distance. Moreover, my townhouse apartment - is very affordable and includes 2 ways to enter, a loft, with amazing lighting, spacious walk-in closets, carpeting throughout, washer and dryer, deck with a great view, a "smart kitchen" - stainless steel appliances, beautiful magnetic cabinets, dishwasher and marble-top breakfast bar!!

You are likely to experience massive property loss if you move to 251 North Apartments (located at the corner of North Ave and Central Park Ave). And then the company will charge you for it! While I was out of town my Jeep was destroyed in a flash flood while parked in the complex's parking lot. Obviously 251 North refused any responsibility. There was at least 3 feet of flood water accumulated in a short amount of time. At least 5 other cars were also destroyed. The complex did not alert us before, during, or after the flood. They have stated that it is the city's fault, because, and this is a quote from the property manager, "Atlanta routinely fails to maintain the sewer system in this area." So there you go, if you'd like to pay inflated rent for a central location with no sewage maintenance, 251 is the place for you. They are doing a construction project which they say will fix the issue, but there is flooding in an upper part of the lot as well which will not be addressed by the construction. So take your chances I guess! As I was shopping around for attorneys and sharing my experience, I learned that this flooding has been routinely happening since 1994. This property just rebrands every several years once enough complaints have piled up. I needed to break my lease once my Jeep was destroyed because I was in Atlanta for a fellowship with the CDC, and replacing the Jeep just wasn't worth staying the additional months in Atlanta for the fellowship. There is a $996 fee for breaking the lease early. They obviously would not let me out of it despite property destruction on their property being the sole reason I was moving. I pointed out that if I let my network know of my experience and posted reviews online, and if that resulted in even one apartment staying vacant an extra month or lowering the rent on 2 apartments by $100 a month to get tenants, then that is a net revenue loss for them. So you can see the level of business acumen you are dealing with here. I love spreading the word to yelpers, but I would prefer my money. I also pointed out that generally a landlord/property owner would be required by law to provide a safe environment. I also assume that even if the city does not do proper sewage maintenance it becomes the business's problem when they build apartments and a parking lot on top of the unmaintained area. In response, the property manager, Vanessa Bush, told me, quote, "we do not aim to provide a safe or secure environment." Additionally, when I moved out they charged me for repairs that I had put in maintenance requests on. Maintenance came, did their thing which was to pluck the mushrooms growing on the baseboards, and closed the service request. And then I was charged for the damage. Interestingly, the building had told me that if I used their cleaning service for $95 then they would not charge me any additional fees for cleaning upon move-out. The damage was carpet damage due to mushrooms due to a leaky sink. The species that grew was a coprinus species. This type of mushroom degrades into an inky sludge. They also charged me for another stain which was normal wear and tear but they said they would need to deep clean it. I asked how this could be an additional cost to them since 1) don't they normally deep clean carpets and 2) the carpet was old when I moved in - it is very surprising that they wouldn't replace it. But, if they are neither deep cleaning nor replacing carpet when tenants move out, that would explain the fleas present when I moved in. There were fleas in the apartment when I moved in. I complained. I was told that I did not have fleas because the previous tenant did not have pets. They never sent anyone over. I got fleas badly maybe a year later. I did have them send an exterminator for this. It's $50. I had a scary experience with the man they sent and felt very unsafe with him being in my apartment. The building refused to acknowledge or respond to it. In addition, they do not routinely remove the trash from the one dumpster they have. Trash overflows out of the bins every week. After being away from the apartment for a few days I would find rat turds littering my bedroom and living room. The rats will come into even the 2nd floor apartments once you've been away for a few days. Hope you don't travel for work! As I was corresponding with them about the fees, they stopped replying to email. I asked 6 times how to pay the bill since they had shut down my electronic account and did not actually send me any bill. No response. I asked when they would send it to collections. No response. Guess what, it was sent to collections! Every single time I was in the office in the two years I lived here, there were tenants complaining about random fees on their monthly bills. Lisa Mills and Vanessa Bush are the only employees I have ever communicated with. I would advise to stay away from any property that employs them!

If you're looking for a safe place to live, don't move here. We moved to Atlanta from out of state last year, and looking for/trying to secure an apartment in a state you don't live can be difficult since you don't know the area. We ended up choosing 251 North, primarily based on location. We have been very pleased with our unit itself, as we have a good-size bedroom and a nice loft. However, things went downhill quickly when it comes to safety. We were not made aware before moving in that they would be undergoing a HUGE construction project, totally uprooting 50% of the parking area and the main entrance, and re-doing the whole wall that surrounds the community. This project started in about February and it still is not close to finishing. It leaves gaping holes in the wall, and a wide open entrance gate to where literally anyone can come into the community. It's not in the most safe area so that is a big concern. While there has been no gate (still no gate) my car was STOLEN from it's parking spot overnight in August. Upon reporting it to management, they were very hesitant to inform the community of this crime, and even suggested that it could have been insurance fraud. We voiced our concerns to them that they leave the community open to any passerby who may want to enter, and there are no deterrents from anyone to do so. There was supposed to be a security guard at the gate, but after we found out at 4am my car was gone, we went to see if there was one and there was not. All in all, they don't value their tenants' safety in the slightest and don't care that their normal security measures, ones that they didn't disclose would be compromised for months, are not intact. I would not recommend for anyone to move here, if you want to feel safe.

I have read other reviews and realized that they were old and that there is new management because I had a great experience when I toured the place. The apartments are adorable and have great lighting and lots and lots of closets space. They have these cute one bedroom lofts so you can use that as an office or extra bedroom for guests. The upgraded kitchen is great with upgraded appliances and parking is not an issue. I did not see trash on property or anywhere other than the trash dumpster. It's quiet and small and perfect for me to get to work and shopping. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to find a reasonable rent in MIDTOWN and looking for cute, clean, roach free professional place

NOW CALLED 251 NORTH! I moved in a month ago and would not recommend this complex. For starters, good luck getting a call back or an answer to your email after they know you are going to rent. The nicey nice stops after you tour an apartment. If you want a nice, renovated unit then DEFINITELY look elsewhere because the nice units here are no cheaper than other complexes in the neighborhood and this place is a headache to deal with. If you are looking at the dated units because of the decent pricing (like I did), I will just say PROCEED WITH CAUTION. DO NOT move here if you have a hard and fast deadline- our move-in date was changed 3 times. Each time I had to call utilities and have the dates changed. DO NOT move here or sign anything without seeing the EXACT unit you will live in first. After being jerked around for weeks we finally got to our move-in date and arrived from out of state with a full moving truck. The apartment was completely different from the one we toured (we were told it would be exactly the same except for the color of the kitchen finishings and the flooring). I know every unit differs slightly but it was a totally different unit- half the size and missing major aspects of the floor plan, such as a second bathroom sink. The apartment manager at the time, Keela, would never acknowledge that it was different. She had never even seen the unit prior to our arrival, but had apparently felt qualified to answer our questions over the phone about how it looked. (??) She said they couldn't anticipate "every little detail" we wanted. Absolute bull. We ended up with a different unit with no apology or price break. We are paying more than we were going to because they had no interest in fixing their own mistake, just blaming us for it. Besides that, the office staff are basically brain dead. When I talk to the guy at the front desk I have to check for signs of life. We had major maintenance issues immediately (non-working oven, leaking sink, both smoke detectors stopped working, and water started leaking from the outside under our baseboards and into our room). If they show you a unit with concrete floors, rest assured it is because it tends to leak or flood. Thankfully a new manager just arrived named Robin and she is great. She solved a billing issue I had quickly and painlessly- the other folks would have jerked us around for days and not been helpful. Hopefully she will turn things around in the office. On the plus side, I do like our floor plan (the Plaza plan) because it is a great use of space for a one-bedroom. (which was why we were so sad to arrive and find that the original apartment was different than the Plaza we were told we were getting). The grounds are nice and well-maintained. Because it is a gated community I feel safe and there are never any weirdos walking around in here. I've never had a problem finding parking- even on weekends.

Please save yourself a headache. I haven't even been here a year and we are on the 3rd property management. The current property management may seem friendly, but that's just to get your money. Everything is fine until you have an issue. They will give you any answer to get you out their face. Phone calls go ignored and don't even expect a call back. Maintenance will let issue linger for months. They are too busy working on unoccupied apts vs occupied apartments that have current issues. Parking is terrible. There are abandoned cars everywhere and cars parked in no parking zones. Management does nothing about it. On Saturdays it's impossible to get service because they leave for hours with no return time. For a peace of mind I suggest you look else where because living here you will have issues and more than likely they won't get resolved in a timely manner, but please don't be late with the rent. They just want your money.

Lots of bad reviews, so I figured I'd throw in my two cents, since it seems most of the time people only review when angry. I have been living here for a bit now, and I have to say, it has been the best complex I've lived at so far. It seems that all apartments get the same reviews -- office staff sucks, maintenance sucks, unsafe, etc. That's because an individual has had a bad experience -- I know, I've been there. Just as a disclaimer, the apartment I rent is a two-story renovated unit, and it is not in a flood area, so these aspects should be taken into consideration. So, I'll sum up my experience so far: -- The unit: I have not had any of the problems others are having. The upgrades are nice, everything functions perfectly, I have never seen a single insect or similar pest inside my walls. I never hear my neighbors (but I also don't have anyone above me). -- Office staff: Never had an issue. They've always been very courteous and professional with me. My only complaint would be that the office staff changed 3x just within the first couple of months with me living there, and the inconsistency was kind of annoying. -- Maintenance: No issues there. They have been slower on a few small cosmetic things (i.e. a small section of my kitchen cabinet baseboard needed to replaced), but they have always been punctual with the more important things (my washing machine hook-up was leaking, they were there quickly and fixed it in a matter of minutes). -- Outside grounds: I never see any garbage or anything sketchy. There are disposal bags provided on the grounds for cleaning up puppy poop, and most of the time I see people using them. There are always a couple of piles here and there, but that's because some tenants are just lazy, and is no fault of the staff (and they will send out notices if they feel it's getting excessive). Unlike other apartments I've lived in, I've never seen the main garbage dump overflowing everywhere, which is a nice change. The gate is always working -- it did get broken once, but that only lasted about two days, and I saw maintenance actively working on it during that time. -- Amenities: Haven't used the pool, so I can't comment on that. Workout room is small and only has a few machines, but no one really uses it anyway, so you don't have to worry about battling anyone for space. And everything that is in there functions. There are only for washers/dryers in the laundry area, so you may have to wait your turn at times if you're planning to use those. -- Safety: This area is actually pretty safe, especially compared to other areas of Atlanta. Being that it is in the heart of the city, it is inherently "more dangerous" than surrounding metro areas. That just comes with the territory when moving to an urban location like this. However, I feel safe here -- I have no qualms walking to nearby stores, I don't feel scared carrying my garbage out at night, and I have no fears about the fact that I am raising my two young children in this area. Summary: I've lived in numerous complexes over the years, and so far this is the best. I think it all depends on your apartment (old vs upgraded), location (floor level and staying out of flood zones), and mindset (recognize that you are in Atlanta and love it for what it is).

SoNo Vista is now know as 251 North. Beware...apartments and the parking deck at this complex flood during heavy rain storms. Apparently it has flooded since in opened back in 1989 and when the current owner's, Vista Realty Partners, purchased the complex in June 2014 they advised management, First Communities Management, and the residents that it no longer would flood. It flooded on September 3, 2014 and again on May 31, 2015. The First Communities management team was amazing. They really made many improvements and they really cared about the complex. They were also helpful and responsive during and after the September 3, 2014 flood. Vista Realty Partners hired JMG Realty back in November 2014 and things have gone completely downhill...things are worst than when it was Cityscape. They were unhelpful and showed no empathy during or after last Sunday's flood. No one from the management team was even available after the flood...sad!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! It's now called 251 NORTH AVENUE APARTMENTS. The new management is horrible. I've lived here for more than 5 years and the property is now worse with these new owners. The apartment is located in a dangerous part of the old 4rth ward. They have a security get but the new owners have a new policy of not closing it per vehicle. So my vehicle has gotten broken into 3x in 5 months. I never had this problem before the owners. They changed the mailbox locks and never gave me a key for the new locks - even after I brought it to their attention. The last break-in costed me $1500 worth of loss. So I deducted $200 from the rent because I held the management partly responsible for not securing the property. Not only did they not care about loss but they immediately demanded for their $200 and added a late fee of $186.00. All they care about is their money - YOU ARE NOT SAFE HERE. Drug dealing across the street. Homeless people all the time. And there's a prison half-way house a block from this apartment complex.. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. MANAGEMENT IS AWFUL..

The maintenance staff is slow to respond, and when they do they "fix" it half-way. I have had a hole in my ceiling and extensive water damage due to a leak in one of the pipes form the upstairs apartment. I have said something to the manager and even showed her pictures of the damage and both time she said that she would get the maintenance supervisor to come out to my apartment that day (both time I said something it was right after they opened so he had plenty of time) and he didn't show up either time. I am still waiting on them to come out to even look at it. Meanwhile, the ceiling is accruing more water damage and I fear because of the water I am going to have mold. I also live in a flood apartment. I'm not complaining about that, I knew what I was getting into going in, but what I am complaining about is their solution to fix the problem of having to replace the Sheetrock every time it floods- plastic. Yes, all the units that flood now have plastic walls that are about 3 feet high. While they are mold resistant they did it as cheaply as possible at the expense of the tenants. The clips they use frequently break, the walls do nothing to help sheild you from the outside heat or cold (even if there is a layer of insulation behind the plastic), and smells, sounds, and bugs from other apartments can easily find their way into yours. Parking is a nightmare, there are never enough spaces and people are frequently parking in front of the trash compactor or in front of the fire gate just to have somewhere to park. The gate stays open long enough for about 3 cars to go through at once. This poses a problem of safety. Someone, a few months ago, tailgated in behind another car (he did not live here, but the person he was tailgating did) and on the upper level of the parking deck right outside of my unit, shot the resident over something trivial. The person was fine, but it would never have happened if the gate didn't stay open as long as it does. The apartment does have trash pickup two days a week (Monday and Thursday mornings) which is great until you get neighbors that put out their trash on Thursday night or Friday morning and it stays their all weekend attracting bugs and other critters. If you say something to management she doesn't do anything. The rent is decent for the area, but not for the quality of the apartment. They were going to raise my rent 18% ($100) a month until I said something and she lowered it because I am in a flood unit. Overall, an okay first apartment, but I would not recommend it for anything but the location (walking distance to Peachtree St., Ga Tech, Piedmont Park, etc). If you can afford it, pay a little more for another apartment in the area and stay away from this one.

The place is fine until you actually have an issue. I paid my rent on time last month and received a note in my door stating that I didn't. I called the management office and left messages 4 days in a row and never received a call back. On the fifth day I called and someone actually picked up the phone. At that time I was told that all of the rent checks and money orders were stolen from the drop box. I faxed them a copy of my receipt and thought the situation was taken care of. A week or so later I come home to find an eviction notice on my door. I was very upset and when I spoke with management they told me it was a mistake. So when I paid July's rent on June 23rd, Imade sure I hand delivered my money order. The lady made a copy and signed and dated it for me to keep. Then I come home today to another notice in my door now stating I did not pay my Julys rent. I really don't understand why they continue to make careless mistakes. They also never answer the phone or return your phone calls. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I actually love it here,
Okay, so first and formost, for all of you first floor renters who are going to start complaing on here about your "flood" unit, you were well aware that it had a chance of flooding. I moved in in October and was offered one of these units and turned it down. Ariel even showed me pictures of the units flooded with FOUR feet of water. I think all of you that live in the inits are a little... you know. So anyways, on to my review. I am coming up on my one year here. I actually like it here. When I first moved in I was'nt too fond of my apartment. Everything is white and dated. Once I moved my furniture in the apartment it looked a lot better. The only reason I took the unit was because of the price. I got an awesome deal. The prices for this property are very competitive. There seem to be a lot of students and younger professionals here, but there are also a few retired residents. My neighbor has lived here for 14 years and she is retired. I think the people that live here make good neighbors. As far as security goes, Im not really sure. I havent experienced anything but the gate is broken right now. It looks as though someone just drove in to it. I know management is doing everything they can to fix it. The manager lives on property so I know she cares about the safety here. The grounds use to be pretty bad but now they're looking good. I love the pool. I go down usually every sunday. Ive met a lot of nice people down there. Maintinance is pretty bad. My garbage disposal broke and it took them 2 weeks to fix it. They are very nice guys though. Management is good. Very friendly. I dont know what else to say about them because ive never had any issues. Overall I would reccomend this place to anyone.

Now called Cityscape at Midtown! Well, I am a student and poor. Therefore, I went for the $499 1 bedroom deal quickly. I must say I was pretty content since this unit is brand new/renovated. Positive: -everything is brand new -cement floor=easier clean up for spills, etc. -fairly quiet (my neighbors are at least) -pretty nice neighbors in general -is not ------, many different types of people live here -size of apartment is large -location is awesome, close to publix, trader joes, downtown... a bike will do for transportation if you don't have to drive too far -walk to North Ave marta station -walk to Piedmont park -good water pressure/temperature -VERY animal friendly Neutral: -office staff NOT attentive at all... can be good and bad -not really kid-friendly.... I don't see many kids around. Negative: -property isn't maintained well... except the guy that wakes me up EVERY Sunday morning while cutting bushes by my window -parking lot floods regularly -frequent car break-ins -maintenance in general takes awhile -apartments WILL flood on bottom floor. May 27th... it flooded for the first time since October. The next day the complex made sure to get someone to vacuum up the water and poorly mop the floors. However, I still have plenty of dirt on the floors and some areas untouched. Huge humidifier is supposed to take care of the rest and then they will shine the floor... not so sure how that will take care of the mold problem that is soon to come up... it's like they do not take it seriously. Plus, the landlords are BOTH out of town on vacation and won't be back until Tuesday to begin doing any other work on the flooded units... the WHOLE right side of flooded units. -I know someone that lives in the center bottom floor apartments and her bedroom wall leaks water EVERY time it rains. It's not a lot but I'm sure that can cause mold and she said there have been worms all over the ground and as many times as she has complained, they will not do ANYTHING to fix it. -I have never seen a cockroach in here *knock on wood* but I see centipedes ALL the time. I've also seen multiple spider and some large carpenter ants in the apartment. Overall, bug-wise this apartment is pretty good, probably better than many others though. -I don't think they care much about our safety. Promised security systems at move in (October) did not get installed until April after much begging from all residents, a huge fence gap has yet to be fixed that was brought to their attention, the gate stays open long enough to let 4 cars through -dryers do NOT work well at all... must dry a load three times and you still might have wet items. This makes it costly to do laundry here. The office will not fix it or report it after it has been complained about. -I can hear the people upstairs walk around occasionally... luckily for me, my upstairs neighbors are not home much and they are nice. -I can also hear homeless people singing at the top of their lungs at night as they pass my apartment. That is very annoying when I try to sleep. -constant sirens because many hospitals are nearby -non-renovated units... every resident I have talked to says they HATE it because it has A LOT of mold. Therefore, don't move into old units because of the price. I actually know someone that moved into the flood apartments because they hated how nasty their upstairs, non-renovated apartment was... that's pretty sad. -These renovated have construction problems such as crooked walls, closets that do not slide into place due to slanted walls, crooked toilet. Basically, it was built in time-efficient manners. Well, I could go on...but there's just too much. Overall, every complex will have problems. I think a renovated unit upstairs would be pretty nice...especially if you don't have a good car. I plan to move out at the end of my lease because I don't want to deal with neglect from the office staff. They're nice people, but not good landlords. Very immature and disorganized approach in my opinion. I would recommend it to some, but it is not for everyone.

NOT SAFE
Note to apartment hunters, do not sign a lease at CityScape. The safety of the residents is not of concern to the management staff. My car was stolen from the complex and there has since been a number of break-ins. I have terminated my lease because management is not taking any security measures. Additionally, maintenance requests are rarely taken care of. This is by far the worst experience I've had in an apartment complex.

Alright, alright, and just alright....
Lets go over the importmant things first: Security... I have never had an issue with this. The crime stays relativly low for downtown Atlanta. I haven't ever heard of any crime happening on the property except for a few car break ins. This does seem to happen all over midtown though. I would like to go ahead and say that this is a pretty safe complex! Location, location, location... Is awesome. I can walk to publix, walgreens, and chase bank wothout even crossing any roads. Neighbors... I live on the third floor (top) so I dont ever hear anyone. I actually moved in knowing 2 people on the property who referred me. The people here are very friendly, and seem to be a good group of people. Except for the as&*#(e that lives in the 800 building who blairs his TV extremly loud during the day. But, other than that I love the neighbors! Rental rate... I got a STEAL on my unit. I moved in in 2008 and pay well under what my buddies pay for their units in midtown. I dont want to start controversay so I'll just say I pay under 800 a month for a pretty large unit. Maintinance.... Sucks! Point blank. They are great guys, but seem to do everything half a**. BUT, I will say that everytime ive had an emergency, it has been handled promptly. Parking... Can't get much better. The last place i lived I could never find a spot. There is ample parking and it is very well lit! Grounds/Pool... Beautiful, I love the pool, my friends love the pool. The property has a great curb appeal to it. However, there are a few spots on the property that dont seem to be taken care of as well as others. But lucky for me, my building stays looking good. I do seem to find cobwebbs around my door quite often and maintinance wont do anything about it, so it is up to you to handle that issue. Management... Seems to be good. Never had any problems with them. I pay on time and always renew on time so they dont ever need to hassle me about anything. When I renewed my lease it was a 3% increase so not too bad. The apartment... Is very bland. Kind of dated. But it works for me. I'm not picky. This place is deff. not upgraded. But, reading other comments on here it seems that they do have renovated units, and I was unaware of this. Overall... I would reccomend this place. It's basically going to come down to how high your standards are.
