Woodland Trails

We have been here for almost 3 years, and I love that I get to call this place home. Everyone that works here is amazing and I couldn’t see myself living anywhere else! I would recommend Woodland Trails to anyone that is looking!

I really love living at Woodland Trail. The staff in the front office are really nice and easy to get in touch with. Any time we have a work order, the maintenance staff addresses the problem in a timely manner. They're also really great about conducting preventative maintenance with ample warning before doing so. The community feels safe and clean and we really enjoy having access to all of the amenities which are very well-kept.

Wonderful?Great I love it !! Maintenance very helpful and quite pleasant when doing their job. Just a great place to live?The surroundings are kept well groomed and manicured. One thing is needed ceiling fans in both bedrooms.

My husband and I moved here almost a year ago, and we have loved it! The apartments are spacious, and the staff is very nice. The amenities are also perfect. There is a pool, gym, and so much more. We also love how we are very close to the interstate!

It is a quiet & convenient area, but the amenities areas are too small for the amount of people living in this area. I feel as if trash should be an option, & the pricing of rent is very high. The rent payment should be able to be split through the rent cafe app.

I feel safe here. Most of the residents are very friendly and nice. Grounds are kept nice. Bushes could use more attention though not being trimmed. Overall I love living here - always have. Maintenance is prompt and very kind.

My water does not get warm or hot in the bathroom, which has been a continued issue when living in this community. Other than that, the staff is professional and the grounds are well maintained. Each staff that I've made contact with has been prompt to service and courteous.

I do not feel safe at this community as there are large dogs roaming around in leash. There was a case of do bite with my child when the dog owner living in community ran away. When asked for help in leasing office, they just declined to help. When lawyers contacted, it was found that dog owner even did not have renters liability insurance which is required as per apartment contract. So stay here at your own risk of dog bite as apartment owner is not concerned. Maintence response time is poor. If you request for any plumbing or electrical maintenance, it takes minimum 7 days for response. People do barb-cue from their car parking garage on Saturday and Sundays. In Gym, half the machines don't work.

The property is lovely however the office staff is robotic and is only interested in the money they can charge you and enforcing Fair Housing Laws with out any customer service to welcome you! Not nice

I moved into the apartment last year. While parts of the apartment are laid out well, some things need improving. First, there is no pantry and cabinet space is scarce. The dining area is also extremely small, so if you have a larger family you won't be able to fit a decent sized dinner table and chairs and still have enough room to move about. Secondly, there is a smell. I don't know what the smell is or where it is coming from, but I cannot get it to go away despite my candles, wall plug in, and automatic sprayers. It smells like harsh chemicals and paint. All of my things smell like it now, even my cat's toys. Secondly, Black Widow spiders and just spiders in general are EVERYWHERE. Any time I go out on my balcony I have to kill about 5 of them. Thankfully I haven't found any inside yet. There is also a huge roach issue. I think they're left from the person whom occupied this apartment before me, but it is embarrassing and very annoying having them around after I've done everything I can to get rid of them. When pest control came to my apartment--unannounced, might I add. No one in the office let me know what day someone was coming, just that someone was coming eventually. When he did randomly come one day, he didn't even knock or anything. Just let himself inside. Luckily I was home--he told me that there wasn't much I could do about the bugs anyways due to the fact that my apartment faces the woods and bugs come from the woods. He didn't spray my balcony or anything because he said it wouldn't help since I am so close to the woods. It was a waste of time and energy. Third, their system for paying your rent isn't compatible with all banks so you need to make sure that it accepts your bank otherwise it will return your payment and you will be left having to submit a money order or cashier's check each month for the remainder of your stay at the complex because apparently there is nothing they can do when your account is blacklisted for a returned payment due to the site not accepting your bank even if you make a new account with a different bank that they do accept. Fourth, if you are a night shift worker or someone who enjoys sleeping in on their days off, do not live here. Weekday mornings (especially during Spring, Summer, and Fall) between 0800 and 1000 is loud as heck with maintenance people using leaf blowers and other various Loud Things. With that said, there are things that I really do like about the complex. The location is amazing. It is 5 to 10 minute drive from everywhere that matters in Lagrange. The appearance of the complex isn't anything to write home about; however, it is kept neat and clean. I think the apartments are also sound proofed very well. I hardly ever hear anything coming from my upstairs and downstairs neighbors. I also don't think safety is an issue at the complex. I have never felt unsafe here and that is a big plus for me. All in all, this isn't a bad apartment community and there's a chance this might be the apartment for you. There are definitely things that could improve though. But personally this complex isn't for me in the long run and I won't be renewing my lease or recommending this place to anyone.

Living here is very exciting and I'm ready to take part in some more fun activities that the community have!

The community and grounds are always nice. The amenities - gym and pool - are also nice. However, the prices of the apartments, security is lacking. There are regular car break-ins or attempted break in-ins. It seems this could be easily resolved with cameras or patroling security guards.

It's too expensive and the appliances and flooring and carpet are outdated. If you want to upgrade not only do you pay for the appliances or floor your rent goes up because of the added values. They do not take into consideration long term residents and stabilizing rent. But it is quiet.

This is a very nice complex, and I love the amenities, but the valet trash service leaves much to be desired. I can't even count on my hands how many times it's been disrupted in the past 6 months. We pay $25 a month for a service that hardly ever gets done. It was so bad that it caused an ant infestation and ruined half the food in our pantry. We don't pay nearly $1,500 a month to have things like that happen.

Amazing Place to Call Home

Quiet and homey community located in the best place. Right next to the interstate and minutes from downtown. We absolutely love it here. The amenities are amazing and the staff is top notch. the Maintenance team can't be beat.

The Best!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Woodland Trail I am so happy with the layout and size of the extra bedrooms. The master has a great walk-in closet the staff is great the community is great even the amenities. The community is kept up nicely very friendly residents and just an all around great place to call home.

A decade of home sweet home

This past March, my family celebrated 10 years at Woodland Trail. We moved in just a few months before our first child was born. We loved our spacious 2 bedroom and over time out grew it when we had our 2nd child, so we moved to the building next door with a 3 bedroom. The transition was super easy! We are well taken care of with the fabulous staff and maintenance crew. Any issues are addressed in a timely manner and my kiddos can’t get enough of the amazing pool & amenities. Life is made easier for this mom with a fitness center, valet trash service & a secure mail room where I know my packages are safe until I get them. So many wonderful things about Woodland Trail! I highly recommend you consider making it your home sweet home as well.
