The property raises rent amount every year I have lived there yet has not updated any appliances. The community has had several crimes committed that do not get reported to residents. Maintenance calls are not handled immediately. And parking is awful as non residents use the parking lot and trash is left everywhere

Have lived there since 2016. We are expected to pay the same rent prices as everyone that has had updates to their apartments.No updates or modifications have ever been done to ours.We have old carpet, tile, appliances that we have asked to be replaced as our stove chooses when it will and won't work. Our dishwasher has had sitting water in it for at least 5 years and no one has ever come to replace it although we have placed multiple work orders. My daughter's bedroom window is so dry rotted when it rains water pours through into her room. We placed several work orders regarding this and they came once and looked at it years ago but never replaced the window or wood around the window. It has only gotten worse. We have put in work orders about the black mold that is in the master bedroom closet due to poor ventilation. No one ever came and took care of it. They told us to use bleach and spray it to clean it ourselves. These apartments are more of a do it yourself situiation yet you want to raise the rent every chance you get. There have been multiple shootings on the property, several homcides and domestic altercations on a regular basis and yet those tentants remain on the property. Drug dealers that live right beside you and the management says take pictures and send it to the police we cannot do anything. It is a little Detroit in this apartment complex. It used to be great in 2016-2017, and now it is like the projects.

Lately there has been a lot of activity in and out with officers here. Other than that it's actually a quiet and calm place. We have nice neighbors and the office and maintenance is always there when you need something fixed, or any questions.

Pool is closed alot of the time it seems and we're not allowed to decorate our area how we want despite it being our place we live. Maintenance isn't the greatest and the Apts. Need to be updated inside and taken care of better.

Everything has been great. I enjoy living here. The office and maintenance team is great.If you need anything done, it is done ASAP. The only issue I have is I don't know yet what happened with the recent shooting that just happened here. It is a nice place to live in though and I would recommend it.

I moved in mid June 2025 and I've really enjoyed my apartment and the staff is wonderful. I highly recommend this complex, it's quiet and cozy and the neighbors are all nice and friendly. They are pet friendly (yay!) and conveniently located in between 2 grocery stores ( 1 is in walking distance)

It's quiet and calm. Not much going. Close to grocery store and gas station. Great if you have kids, daycares, preschool and grade school within 5 mile radius. Apartments are a little outdated. Kitchen appliances need updating, not what's shown on site.

This is a low income housing community and they are not very understanding to the low income families that live here. Although the property is very well kept on the outside they are not as good as completing maintenance orders in a timely manner I might live in the low income apartment, but when I have people visit me, I would like my apartment and not look like it is falling apart as I do pay rent.

The people around us are really nice BUT the walls are VERY thin here you can hear everything going on outside around you. The kids in the community, lawn care people, etc. Every one is friendly in passing.

The office and maintenance staff is always nice. There is a pool, playground, gym, laundry room and dog park which are all clean. They handle maintenance issues quickly and follow up with you to make sure everything is working a few days after they fix the issue. The complex is quiet for the most part but some areas are better than others. I would recommend this complex as a single person,(2br) the apartment is a great size and all the amenities are a plus!

This community has provided me a village as a single mom. My kids and I have made friends that will last a life time. The people in Ashton look out for one another. I had an interest in moving here because of the affordability and how safe and quiet the complex was. Since then affordability has changed but for the most part the quietness and safety is still in place. The front office staff is very welcoming.

In general is a good place to live. Accessible and beautiful. However, the security needs to be improved due I've seen people who doesn't belong here easily using the pool and laundry room which is supposed to be just for Ashton's residents.

I moved into Ashton last year of 9/2024 and my honest opinion my experience was not a good one their first impression was not the best they did not have everything ordered and ready and changed for me to move in my apartment my place was not liveable all of my appliances were not in maintenance refused to do certain things on time and was told to let a family relative to do it. And also I've had a few issues with management in the office regarding certain a situations that's unfair,they need more maintenance people and personal information is not confidential at all in the they lied about an important matter which almost cost me to be evicted and that was the last straw so I decided to move out anyway cause they've been very unprofessional with things that's needed to be the end of my experience I hope they get better at what they have.
