The Ashton is a very quiet, safe and comfortable community. However, the property and the units can use an update. A remodel and updated appliances would make the property a lot nicer. As well as possibly more parking options.

    There was literally a shooting in the parking lot last night. Up until then, it seemed like a fantastic area for us to live in. It's close to the main streets and the schools are awesome! Maybe better security is needed though.

      It has very run down apartments. They have done any renovations the whole 4 years I have lived here. They said they would renovate the kitchen shortly after I moved in in April of 2020. They have been sold twice to different company's, with no kitchen renovations yet. And both years I renew my lease my monthly rent went up the first time by $60 and this year it went up by $140 dollars. However with the exception of having the outside painted and making a dog park there has been no changes. To make up for a rate hike in rent every year.

        I've been here six months and from the first week I've seen mouse poop. Maintenance said, he's never seen any and don't know what it looks like. Said terminex would be out Friday. They half looked and found nothing. They dismissed the problem. Well, last month as they were spraying for the first time,pest man placed four sticky traps down. Nothing has been caught to date. Nightly, pest enter my apartment. I see small droppings. Took droppings to front office and they acted as if they never seen anything like it and don't know what it is. Terminex is out here weekly visiting tenants. Probably telling them the same thing. The apartments are nice but, pest problem. I will be moving when my year is up. I can't live with mice. I'm not a pet lover, therefore I won't get a cat. They brush me off. Request closet doors to be fixed twice,it never happened. Had poop on my bed this morning. Creature was on my bed while I slept last night. My heart is broken over this issue. I moved from the north to here. Old windows. Cardboards not put up well. They pierced them together. Can't see through all of the windows. Biggest complaint,mice. I can't share with them. I pray about this more than anything. Sad and broken hearted tenant. Broken mailbox also. I hope this keeps people away that fear mice. Trash dumpsters are usually full and unsanitary. Trash outside of dumpsters a couple times a week. I don't know where I go from here. They wouldn't answer my phone call today. Wanted to tell them about the mice again. HELP ?? My Air conditioner was non functioning from the time I moved in, four months in this GA. heat. They keep nickle and diming it. That was a big problem too. I got heat exhaustion thrice. The bill was extremely high. No compensation on that. I would break my lease if I could.

          Very quiet community, Staff is great! Maintenance is very efficient. Only problem I have is the dumpster is right in front of my appointment they smell so horrible in the summer. It's embarrassing when I have people over I have a balcony would like to set outside dumpster smells bad. Other residents don't care becauythe don't have live in front of them.

            Needs updated appliances, pest control doesn't come monthly as they supposed to, cabinets sucks together and are hard to open, needs ceiling fans throughout the apartments, we need new carpet or hardwood floors.

              Its been really good living here, It's peaceful, the office team try to help as must as they can and the maintenance team are always ready and willing to help. I only wish I had time for the activities, I'm always working.

                My only complaint is the trash area. There needs to be some way to regulate the dumping. Seems like the entire city uses our bins leaving residents no room for our trash most days. So people just put their trash in the ground. It's disgusting to drive by and and see the lack of care by everyone. Should be cameras to get license plates of those that don't live here or in a gated area where residents have the key. Maybe it's because I live right beside it but it makes me not want to live there cause it's just? well trashy and doesn't seem like anything is being done about it.

                  Affordable place to live and the grounds are kept clean. If you have a problem with your apartment, maintenance always responds in a timely manner. The office staff are friendly and helpful. Activities for residents are held throughout the year.

                    The police are always there for guns and fighting. Maintenance barely gets done without asking multiple times. The rent keeps going up but they won't replace the outdated appliances. The dishwashers don't work either

                      The apartment is ok but the rent amount isn't worth it. No up to date appliances. If you decide to live here please be aware that SOME of the kids in the neighborhood are out of control, super loud and likes to play "ding-dong ditch" At your door

                        Horrible!!!! It's an unsafe environment for my family. Kids in the neighborhood are rude and disrespectful. Not to mention my apartment has massive amounts of mold everywhere. Mold all over! Moving!!!

                          I've had to complain about that trash in between buildings 4-5 weekly. People aren't picking up their dog poop?don't want the place to look trashy. Kids toys left out by pic nic area. People need to clean up!

                            Dana has excellent customer service skills. She worked diligently to get me into my apartment keeping me updated on the process of approval. It is no reflection of her work that I do not like my apartment. It is completely surrounded by trees and tall bushes so that I have absolutely No Sun or Day light! I must keep my lights on all day. It is like living in a dungeon..I noticed this is not true of all the apartments. I wish I had been more mindful before signing the lease. Now I wish I could move

                              The one thing that stood out with the office staff to me was they know all the residents by name I think that says a lot about who they are that's when I knew I was going to love it here this is my first time ever renting and living in an apartment I Love It here peace and quiet they stick to their rules that is very important to me maintenance is very hands on I had to call about a bathroom issue and they were there within the next twenty minutes informed me with letting me know they were there the office does a lot of fun things games , have items to give away at no cost on Friday's and holiday's the exercise room is very nice with a lot of equipment and the laundry room hours of operation is awesome it's a beautiful place to live the office staff is so sweet , kind, and friendly make you feel welcomed!!!!!!!!

                                I do not recommend this complex. I am a current resident and I wish I weren't. I was totally sold in the beginning but it only took a few short weeks to notice the total complete negligence of management. The manager is totally rude. The parking lot does flood!!!! Not just to your feet. My 7 yr old daughter have had to swim to our house twice in the month we have lived here. The other three times it has flooded I was too scared to go thru the water to make way to my house. Manager just says that it is unfortunate. Please do not rent from here.

                                  AWFUL!!! I lived there for a year. The ladies at the front office don't care about anything but their paycheck. NOT helpful at all. My husband deployed and I told them I had to move out, and gave them my move out day (a sunday) they said ok, and I signed a paper. Then, a month later, they call me saying I owe them rent because they didn't close my account when they were supposed to, and about $300 in other fees that they didn't mention at all when I told them I was moving out. On top of the AWFUL customer service (probably the worst I have ever experienced), there are bugs. Roaches and millipedes are not uncommon. Its extremely loud the shady. My husband and I wouldn't leave the house at night without our gun for protection The neighbor would draw all over our brand new car every single day, you have to have a $5 bill every time you want to do laundry, and the machine to put the $5 on your laundry card is in the front office. So if you want to do laundry on the weekend, you're pretty much out of luck. Our refridgerator leaked about a gallon of water a month, so we had to keep a pot inside it to catch it. OH! and when it rains, the parking lot doesn't drain properly, so it FLOODS! And by floods, I mean I have pictures of the water over my 6'1" husband's knees. When the water finally drains, you can see the trash strewn all over the place, and you almost wish the water was still there to cover it up. If you're just looking for a cheap place, you may want to look else where. i lived there a year and the rent went up 3 times. Overall, worst apartment complex I have ever, or will ever live in.

                                    ROACHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                    Roaches!!!! The office will lie and tell you the are going to get some one out to spray and then they don't. You can always count on Bad attitudes in the office!!!! I have not seen trashy people in a long time but they are here now. Gas is stolen from our cars and people will just come sit on your back porch (oh this is not managements problem.) It took years to get the landscaping done but if you like black mold there is plenty of it!!!! It is now covering all the buildings and steps!!! Please come quickly and bring your kids to this GREAT PLACE!!! Your kids will be proud! Also these Stars to rate the apartment are auto locked in for an average rating please read all comments and if there is a good one it probably came from the office!

                                      one of the cheapest places to live in Richmond Hill that's decent

                                      I lived there for a year. The apartment was ok, the neighbors were good and if you have a maintenance problem they fix it quickly. There are nice grass areas picnics and a slight few have grills and picnic tables. I moved out 3 weeks ago and have been trying to find out about my deposit, the only thing I have found out so far is "well i think it takes at least 6 weeks" The ladies are very nice when you talk to them but getting a straight answer from anyone but the manager is impossible and she only calls if there's a problem (grill on the patio)

                                        ok for the money

                                        It's a nice quiet environment to live. The only negative thing i have to say is that they don't not keep up some of the building on the outside. They have been promising to do it for a year ive been here and haven't. Its pretty bad in the summer with the wasp and there nest by your door or patio. But i keep a can of spray. If they pressure wash the outsides like there suppose to. There would be a cleaner appearance and less chnaces of them coming back to their old nest.

                                          This is a great apartment to live in the ladies in the office are awesome we really do like them. And the maintenence guys are great they are quick and very friendly. The only bad thing is some of the disrespectful residents who live here that don't care if there music is loud but that's not a reflection on the apartments.
