Management sucks, ants, thin walls, noisey maintenance people, too expensive,
Firstly I have lived there for three years yes and I won't be renewing my lease. Management are absolutely rude and speak to you like you are a child. They smile when they first meet you but don't be fooled. They send useless notice to residents about them being lazy and they are the law. They badge into your apartments because the manager thinks she owns the place. The assitant Manager Terri is rude. You are in for an unpleasant surprise with the ants ants ants ants. OMG ANTS from no where and when you discuss that with management they basically imply that you are nasty! The maintenance guys not all just the older one gossips with your neighbours abour whats in your apartement, The apartment is so thin you can hear some walking, people having sex, babies crying, people talking on their phone like they were right next to you! The managment though will harass you if are a new tenant and someone has filed a complaint. There is hadly any space to store anything. Too expensive and parking spaces are limited especially when residents don't park properly and management won't address that. You can smell scents like marijuana because the ventilation in here is not the best and it filters from your neighbours apartment into yours. The pool well if you aren't a teenager you won't enjoy it. The children are loud in the mornings when going to school fighting cursing. I believe its rather safe because the police have been in here a few times but I could be biased because I live between three dekalb county police so my building is rather safe...lol Don't waste your time do your research!

DIsappointed
I am very disappointed in the way Manaagment handle residents. The level of professionalism said at best would equate to going through a fast food drive through window when the clerk has an attitude.

Not Worth The Money!!!!
I have been living here for almost 6months. I will not be renewing my lease. It is way too small for the amount of money they want. I have not had any problems with my apartment. But the ants are a major issue and the insulation sucks big time. There is mold all around my windows.I just clean it with bleach water and call it a day. The dumpster area is a problem! Tenants leave from a small trash bag outside the compactor to whole bedrooms sets!!!!!! My upstairs neighbors kids feel like they are going to fall on me. Overall it is ok. Definetly not enough closet space!!!!!!!!!

Would not Recommend
Bugs are a big problem from ants to worms. Walls are paper-thin. If there is a complaint outside of maintenance, it is very rarely addressed adequately. For example, noise learn to deal with it, bugs get over it, billing its your fault not they don't make errors. Have no faith in the courtesy cops. Beware of Terri, let's just say ----- on wheels.

The Worst experience Ever!!!
Please do not move to these apartments. My experience at Wildwood has been terrible. When I first moved in 2 years ago the customer sevice and leasing office staff was wonderful and polite. Over the past two years the service has drastically declined. It takes weeks to have problems addressed and corrected in the apartments. Dealing with the leasing office is s nightmare. They all have attitudes out of this world. When you call no one can answer any questions so they take your number for no one to ever call back. These apartments aren't cheap and I strongly believe in customer service and I feel that for the money you spend, you should be confortable in your home. I encourage everyone considering moving into these apartments to think twice and move somewhere where you are valued as a resident and not looked at as rent.

Don't Move to these apartments
I like in these apartments, I would not recommend anyone to these apartments. Kids all over the dayum place. I can hear my upstairs neighbor's peeing. ------ neighbors, loud music, no one throws their trash in the compactor, instead they just throw it on the sidewalk area. And I'm not talking one or two residence, i've passed by the compactor to see mountains of trash, people throw mattresses over there, furniture, baby swings and things like that. These people don't care. Police are always out there. Oh and the management staff! Oh my goodness, they are horrible. There is one girl that works there who's name starts with a T. She is fat black and ugly oh and baldhead but will treat you like you are the scum on the bottom of her shoe and the funny thing is I'm a good tenant. I've never once paid late so I nor anyone else deserves her treatment. She is inconsiderate and rude. Even the way she answers the phone is completely unprofessional. She's extremely incompetant. She's been known to leave large sums of money laying out and walking away, she is supposed to take care of all the finances but doesn't have a clue. I've brought one of HER mistakes to her attention before. She's sneaky. She asked that I not tell anyone what she did or she would be fired but as soon as she was in the clear she treated me like shyt. I asked to speak to the Manager Kay about it and she never returned my call. The bad thing is I'm not the first person this particular situation has happened to. If you want terrible property management service, if you want to live in the hood, if you want to pass by that nasty azz trash compactor everyday, if you want to hear the people above you screwing, if you want have ants (oh we keep ants over there and I'm not the only one)this is your place to be. Oh and the fact that you have to make a uturn EVERYTIME you leave the complex or to get to the complex is very inconvient, think about that before you consider this place. Then they claim to have a fitness area. Don't believe the hype, it's one machine that doesn't work. The amenities are a joke. The pool is nice but it's a teenage hang out. I was at the pool with my kids over the weekend and one of the "boys" that works maintenance for the complex was there, his mouth was so filthy. But overall the maintenance team is the only good thing about this place. They are extremely responsive and nice except for that little boy with the filthy mouth.

I would not move in these apartments. If you just have to live in apartments. Pay good money for what you really want. Don't live here. Especially, if you have a family.
Very noisy, you can here the people below
you on the side of you and even outside. You can barely let you windows up. Children are never on the playground where they should be. They play and throw the footballs around the tenants cars. Like I said I would not live here and I can't wait until I move.

What about your neighbors ??
I have over an acre of land that backs up to the artist formerly known as "woods".

Now, my land backs up to an apartment complex, known as "Wildwood at Stone Mountrain."

It didn't take a week for the vermin to cut the chain link fence, (Which is topped with barbed wire,) {Their idea.....not mine,) and use my backyard as a shortcut to go do their damage, whatever it may be.

Bottom line, Anyone that calls this place home, is in for some serious s#@t.

I don't live there, yet I have to arm myself with something other than a tennis ball, to keep my dogs from geting over the fence to protect their own backyard.

Nice Apartments with pros and cons
okay these are some very nice apartment i fell in love with the floor plan so i have no problem with the way they look or mgmt, if i had any problem with something not working they was right out no problem. i love that in a mgmt group. Now the problems the wall are like paper thin i mean i can hear the people below me, on the side of me, the people above me, the people across the hall i mean it was bad. for an example; one night i was in bed sleep and i could sense or feel the person tv on who lives above me once a called the on duty officer on my neighbor down stairs about the noise music being to loud and it was my neighbor up stairs music i don't know if Wildwood at Stone Mountain read these but that is some they need to look into making those walls sound proof. my other apartments i stayed in had sound proof walls and it was no noise there. but other than that these apartment are close to everything
good
The apartments are well maintained by a well trained staff. The maintenance crew is always nice and helpfull which is a What i dont like is the contract terms,if you get a year lease and you happen to move into a house or just move period earlier than you expected they will not let you out of your lease to better yourself instead they cost you tons of money. you have to really look into the lease cause its a set up unless you plan to be there.
