We love the Aston. Location, cleanliness, staff and amenities are amazing! We use the roof deck spa pool a lot, the lounge on 34, the grills, the gym daily…all of it. The front desk staff is so friendly and accommodating!

We really enjoy the location and the staff here. We just need more room since we are a family of four, otherwise we would probably stay longer. I do think that for the price we pay for rent we should get at least one storage and parking included. Those add ons make it a lot more expensive. But overall, we have enjoyed our time here

I was treated horribly by management and staff when my storage until auctioned off. Apparently an email was sent out, which went straight to my spam folder. I don't feel a genuine attempt was made to find the owner. My name and email address were on several items in the unit. If the goal were to find the resident whose storage unit it was, it could have been easily achieved. I feel so violated.

Great repair people / front door people. Nice layout. Kitchen makes it difficult to cook in (electric hotplates / no vents). Cost location is good. They send packages back to sender after 7 days which can be hard for people who travel. It feels like when they open amenities after Covid is very subjective (I.e. when the weather feels good to some unknown person vrs. X date).

I have only been here a short time but I am very much enjoying my stay here. The building and amenities are great and the staff is really friendly which makes me feel right at home. Self service package room is also great. The only complaint I have is the poor cell phone reception

The reception staff is always friendly, professional and very helpful. The community areas are cleaned daily and the cleaning staff is also friendly and professional. The maintenance team has helped us countless times and 9/10 times they have been able to complete our requests within a few hours - or they have immediately let us know we will have our service completed the next day, they are helpful and professional. The office has always been friendly and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend Aston to my friends!

Overall the building and community are well run, clean and meet expectations when paying a premium due to downtown city living. During the height of the pandemic it was loud and full of young professionals partying, but that seemed to correct itself with the rise of rents versus 2020 pandemic pricing.

The rental agents and management staff are always helpful The winter weathers is no obstacle since the staff has snow removal and salt for melting ice as a top priority.

Great building, location, and amenities, with space-efficient floorplans. Value for money! However, online payment options are still somewhat under-developed, and the entire building shakes whenever a large vehicle passes by (drawback of the otherwise fantastic location).

I am a current resident at the Aston (4 months now) and I cannot repeat this enough, DO NOT MOVE HERE! I cannot wait until my lease is up to get out of this terrible place! The management is so AWFUL that it’s embarrassing! My unit had so many issues that were not shown during my virtual tour and were not taken cared of prior to moving in. RUST in the washer and dryer. BURNT electrical sockets. MOLD/Water damage underneath the sinks and in the cabinets. A CRACKED MIRROR! And apparently this was all okay for them as it was signed off for me to move in! When I brought up these issues, their first response was to kick me out by dissolving my lease and have me sign a LEGAL NON DISCLOSURE! They weren’t even going to refund ANY of my money! There is so no communication between the building agents/associates and building managers that it’s astounding and a huge problem. We nearly had a family member’s car towed when we had formally requested a temporary parking spot in advance. NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL! Every single day is a struggle. Incredibly disappointing and SAD especially coming from a self proclaimed “refined and luxury” building. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

POC don’t even think about it. The level of racism from staff is so unbelievable that I’m getting my lawyer and fair housing involved. What I experienced today was just hurtful and shocking I thought I was back in the 1930s with the way they were treating me.

Super friendly staff and amazing amenities! The Aston has been nothing but great to live in since we moved in a few months ago. The area has so many restaurants and is very close to Michigan Ave. Its a busy area but the noise is definitely blocked out in the apartments which is great!

Lovely area, nice building. Office staff are nice and courteous, but have had times where they do not have answers or cannot assist with issues. Additionally, the community is more expensive than other options in the area, and management does not take measures to preserve current residents.

The management company was horrible. Misled my husband and I into thinking a unit would be available and then 5 weeks later, told us they rented it to someone else after telling us we would be the first to see it. The woman who gave us a tour of the building, although I am sure she is a nice person, is not good at her job. She needs more training on the basics including how to follow through when you tell someone you will contact them about a unit when it is available. Also, wasted 2 trips to see the unit we wanted to rent and were shown layouts we specifically said we did not want to see. Glad we experienced their incompetence before moving in. Couldn't handle it if we lived there! If you're looking for upscale apartments/condos in Streeterville, there are better options.

Overall OK. I would say for the price you pay I would expect hire end finishes in the apartments. Management can be slow to respond. Mail room is an absolute disaster. Maintenance team very kind and professional.
