Welcome to the projects
Press 1 for English....if you're calling for an maintenance emergency, please hold your breath until you turn blue in the face. Then, call back next week for the same as their usual answer is "maybe we'll get to it Monday, we have inspections for the next 3 weeks". I was literally looking through my lease to see if there was a clause within the first 30 days that we could escape! (As suggested by the welfare rats next door that had domestic violence issues on a frequent basis when they weren't too busy mistreating their children) Management is rude at times and do not notify tenants of criminal mischief or conversion. We didn't know about several burglaries in the area until we saw several sheriffs patroling the grounds (hands on holsters) 3 nights in a row, questioning any tenant that walked outside of their apartment. However, we did get a notice when we forgot to switch the electric into our name. The space provided for the washer/dryer is not big enough for both units, but there is always the on-site laundry facility! It is a gamble whether or not your clothes will either be A.) Dry or B.)Still there. No, its not a joke. People are really stealing wet clothes straight from the dryers. Are you a pet-lover? Lets freakin' hope so. Pet-friendly is an understatment here. There are plenty of neglected, unvaccinated, mixed breed furry friends ready to jump all over you as soon as you set foot on the sidewalk. But don't worry, you may be able to out run them, stepping in 17 piles of dog sheet on the way to your car :) Just make sure to carry small children. Moving onto the other amenities...the playground? If you call a concrete tube (used for construction; please see photos) placed next to what-appears-to-be a "basketball court", then yes, they have a playground. The pool hasn't been open ONE day since we moved in, there was a padlock on it ALL summer. Management told us it was algae problems. However, they told the neighbors they didn't want to deal with the unattended children (also another big issue). Despite all these problems, I will give them credit for the air conditioners! They work great! If you must move here, use them for what they are good for; to save money and GET OUT!
