the renovations are fabulous!

These apartments are totally new inside and out. I never would have believed they could look so good. Wood floors in the kitchen and dining area (thank you-no more stains in the carpet!) cool picture molding so you can hang pictures like an art gallery does (so easy and very chic). They added washer & dryer to every apartment and the light fixtures are very neat (I'd pick them out for my house - not apartment grade stuff)

We liked it a lot

As far as apartments go, this was the best we've ever lived in. We hate hate Baton Rouge, but if you have to live here, this is the place. Even though they're not there on the weekends, the staff is really friendly and helpful. The apartment was a little messy when me moved in, but that was because we moved in the same day we saw it. The parking is pretty good (covered parking is awesome if you get home before 10:00 pm.) The pool is really pretty and the lake view is lovely. The area is great, and we feel super safe, but one disadvantage is that we have to drive 10 minutes to get anywhere. My husband doesn't like it but I think the lack of crime is worth it. You can hear the trains and highway, but not too bad. Washer and dryer is the best. Bathroom is pretty small but the rest of the layout is huge. Big kitchen. Great maintnence. We will miss it when we move out of Baton Rouge!

Wonderful place to call home..

I have only lived here six months, but i can already see what a great place this is. The office staff are so friendly and willing to help whenever needed. The people living here are so friendly, I have meet many friends in these few short months. And not to mention they allow almost any pet to stay with you. The rent is a plus, parking is great, and the apartments are spacious. Overall I can say that Lakeshore Place will be my home for years to come.
