I have been very pleased with Watergate Apartments. If I have any complaint it is that the pool is only open until 8:00 PM. But I enjoy living here and am impressed with the staff and management. The landscaping makes these older units look great.

The apartment is very convenient to downtown Annapolis, which we really like. The price is very high for the facility you live in, you are paying for the location, not the quality of the apartment. The apartment has served its purpose for a space to live, but I look forward to being in a home.

I am having a very good experience living at Watergates. The apartment layout is quite nice and there is enough space for all our stuff. I also should say that the management people are extremely friendly and very helpful. They pretty much made the move-in process pain-free and everything was very smooth. The apartment complex is very well located and it is about 20 min walking distance to the downtown Annapolis. In addition, there is a small commercial area with some nice restaurants and a coffee shop just behind the complex. The view from the bay is quite nice, with several bbq grills and benches to enjoy a quality time with family and friends. Watergate is extremely pet friendly. Overall, I am having a good time living here and I definitely recommend this place.

This is a wonderful community at a reasonable rate. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The fixtures, appliances and windows are dated but all function well. Being on the water offers activities that are not available anywhere for the price.

I love the location: directly at the water, quiet, very close to downtown and green. Not the most fancy and modern one in town, but I looked at those and likd this one better. Staff and especially maintenance is very nice and fast, happy about the neighbours as well. Some dog owners which doesn't bother me at all.

Great place to live. They have community kayaks to use. Very convenient location - can walk to downtown Annapolis. Get one of the renovated apartments with the big kitchen counter, it can be used as your dining room table. Very nice being on the water.

Overall a great waterfront community with adequate amenities in walking distance to several restaurants/bars/activities. Location and affordability can't be beat in the Annapolis/Eastport area. The management is always speedy in fixing problems.

While the rent was good and the location was nice, I could not stand how thin the walls were. I could literally hear my neighbors cough, drop the toilet lid, talk on the phone or laugh at their tv. There was no sound proofing whatsoever. There were also rodents that would crawl in the ceiling at night. Super gross. Multiple calls to maintenance couldn't seem to determine how they were getting in. Once my lease was up, I was out of there. The maintenance staff was still by far the best thing about Watergate. They were prompt and courteous, and even replaced my dead smoke alarm battery at 3am when it started incessantly beeping.

My apartment is laid out well. Good use of space, new appliances ,fresh paint, crown moldings, plenty of light and closet space. Could use cable outlets in bedrooms. The patio with low privacy fence adds the the feeling of space. Community facilities , laundry room, gym, pool , piers, community common spaces, and management office are well cared for and are first class. Management staff and property maintenance employees are all friendly, prompt to be of service and make living in this community a pleasure . The neighbors are friendly and diverse . Shopping, transportation , recreation , are all right here. My location which I like has the drawback of buses racing noisily up Norman St. only to set idling for sometime on the Monroe st bus stop. Great place to live.

Nice waterfront community that is well maintained. Close to downtown and in the heart of Eastport. If you have pets, this community is very welcoming. The little "extras" that are provided, such as the free tickets to ride the water taxi enhance the living experience and provide access to the water which is a coveted feature of Annapolis generally.

The maintance has always been outstanding. Whenever I have had an issue they have fixed it very quickly. I have been very happy with all the staff at Watergate. My only concern is my rent increasing once my lease is up. That would be the only reason I would consider moving.

Wife and myself are very pleased with responsive, courteous and professional management of complex. Apartment building interior and exterior maintenance excellent. Grounds well lighted for night time security. Last winter plowing and snow removal activity was outstanding.
