The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Maintenance concerns get dealt with in a timely manner. However, they are correctly doing construction on the outside of my building and it can get very loud.

I love my new apartment....
I love my new apartment. Moving in was easy, the staff is great, attentive and professional. The apartment was in beautiful condition, the community is absolutely breathtaking. The best of waterfront living!

I have nothing but great things to say about the community to friends. The only thing I see forcing me to move in the future is yearly raises in the cost of renewing the lease.

We've only lived in Watergate...
We've only lived in Watergate for about a week, but so far it's far better than our previous residence. We love the hardwood floors, and are having fun exploring our new neighborhood.

This is my third year...
This is my third year living at Watergate. My rent has increased by almost $300 in that time period. Maintenance responds in a timely manner however there always seems to be something going wrong and the problems seem to be "quick fixed" so they happen over and over. The maitenance people are super nice but unfortunately I can't say the same for the people working in the leasing office. When you need or ask for something the common attitude is that you're bothering them. THe apartment complex seems to care more about getting new people to move in than they do taking care of current residents. This might be why they always need people to move in. I'm in the process of purchasing a home or I would have already moved. THe location is amazing but aside from that there few other pros.

It has great outdoor...
It has great outdoor space, though the apartments need updating in regards to being more eco-friendly. Tenants are generally very friendly and it's a great location, close to downtown.

I love the location and...
I love the location and the amenities. I am dissapointed that the management company has long neglected replacing the windows. They are huge energy wasters. They also let a lot of noise in. The property manager is also not good at communicating. He is not good about discussing problems with tenants as he cannot handle conflict. They also call apartments luxury - they are not, cheap plastic floors, low grade appliance, etc, does not make a place luxury. They also use antiquated pest and weed management practices, lots of chemical applications. Overall, a nice place, but could do better with new management.

We have lived here for 2 1/2 years and we love this community. Because of the wonderful staff it truly feels like home to us. The amenities at this complex are wonderful and the entire area is always kept clean and manicured. Its really a great find in Annapolis.

I love living at watergate! They are dog friendly and kid friendly. In the summer they're so many activities. Kayaking swimming at the community pool water taxi grilling by the water taking walks with the dog around the gorgeous marina. The community cookouts. It's a great place to live.

Our experience at Watergate...
Our experience at Watergate has far exceeded our apartment-rental expectations. It's been great. The one thing that would make it perfect would be if the units were smoke free -- as it is, daily you smell heavy cigarette smoke coming into the hallways and rising from balconies below.
