it's a nice community, quiet peaceful community, grounds are well maintain. The office staff is excellent very knowledgeable, maintenances staff is about there work when needed. The apartment is close to schools, shopping areas, and close to route 50 and 495.

We have been residents at The Bowen since 2016. What drew us to this community was the location, amenities, and overall appearance. I must say that our start here wasn't the best but whenever an issue occurred, management handled it as best as they could. Since that time (Feb 2019), a new management team has taken over. It happened so quickly, we didn't have time to really process the change and why it was happening. However, the new team has been nothing short of amazing. I have dealt with the property manager on numerous occasions and she is very professional, extremely helpful and truly cares about the residents at The Bowen. Whenever any type of issue or situation arises, it is handled professionally and if it's personal, it's handled with care & empathy. The maintenance team is great. They've always resolved our problems in a timely manner and if they are unable to get to our request, it is communicated to us. We definitely recommend this community in Bowie!

I just moved into the Bowen and I can honestly say this place feels like home. The staff is very kind and understanding of what my wife and I wanted in our future home. The floor plans are just perfect. You really can't go wrong with any of them. I highly recommend moving here.

Maintenance staff is exceptional. I would recommend this apartment to my friends but please consider staying on the highest floor available because if the neighbor above you have kids you will hear everything below you.

It started out great, but now that new management has taken over it is horrible.The management doe not allow Christmas trees to be displayed in the lobby. No coffee served on Passover.The Management team does a poor job with social functions despite the very very high rent.

I moved here because here because this was supposed to be luxury living apartment complex. However it turns out that way. It started off ok 5 years ago. Then it went down from there. The tent went up and we stared to get gouged for for the water bill and trash service that's not needed and totally unnecessary. Then less than desirable neighbors were allowed to move in for very short periods, trash the place and share the entry codes to everyone that they know especially delivery drivers.

The maintenance staff is very professional and the community has wonderful amenities. The apartment is updated with mondern features and the space is very livable. The fireplace is a great feature to have in the winter time.

The Bowen is a clean, maintained luxury rental property. The staff is courteous. They great you with a smile and a salutation. Request from residents are handled in a timely fashion. The property is clean and well maintained. You rarely hear noise even though the property has children who live here. It is worth the money to live here.

Building was very safe and secure, which was 1 of my biggest concerns when moving. Everyone we came in contact with during the tour and move in process has been very helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this complex to anyone who wants to live outside of the city but still have close access to it.

I have lived at the Bowen for nearly six years. This is a very nice community with good management, wonderful office staff, and excellent maintenance. Because there are all types of people, no place is perfect. Some people here don't know how to use the trash rooms, and others like to play loud music. But most of the time, the place is clean and quiet. Apartments are roomy!

The Bowen is a great community with great amenities. The community is located in a great location, especially if you are trying to get to either Baltimore or Washington DC. Overall, the Bowen is a great place to transition for a year or two before you purchase a home. I would definitely recommend singles or families to consider renting here.

Good experience to date. Noisy vent affects sleep pattern and needs to be fixed. I am sure a noisy vent was not part of design plan. Living with the fault is not a good solution. I look forward to a satisfactory repsir.

The management changed while I was at the community and I was worried that the transition would result in significant changes. However, the transition was smooth and they allowed us to maintain our rent payment methods until the end of our lease as a courtesy. I haven't had too many complaints.

Due to a concern with homeless entering the buildings, there should be full time visible security. Also, better housekeeping to keet stairwells clean. Amenities are nice especially if you utilize them.

Wonderful amenities, friendly staff & neighbors, and upscale living. The Bowen is also within 15 minutes from the New Carrollton Merton, which makes it convenient to commute throughout the DMV. It's definitely a nice place to call home.

The apartments have seem to be less secure and not as clean. The staff does not walk the community to see the issues because if they did it would shock them. Homeless people and loitering. Trash rooms dirty. Vehicles are not supposed to be on property at night.
