Great View
I have truly enjoyed living in the apartment here at Old Farm Shores the past year. The deck view and water fall next to the building have made my stay exceptionally pleasant. I also appreciate the response time for any maintenance calls and the thoroughness of the work. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone seeking an apartment

Living at Old Farm Shores is WONDERFUL!!!
I love living at Old Farm Shores, I love coming home in the evening after a hard day at work, and sitting on my deck over the pond, and feeding the ducks. It is so relaxing and so beautiful. The staff at here is amazing, especially the maintenance guys, they are very friendly, and get to your requests immediately. Holly, in the office, is always helpful and friendly. I will be moving out this summer, only because I am getting married, I am really going to miss my home at Old Farm Shore Apartments.

Old Farm Shores has been an excellent place to live! The apartments are very nice with new appliances, excellent floor plans, and plenty of storage. The views of the lakes are amazing, and you can't beat the location...close enough to everything you need, yet off the beaten path enough to escape the fast paced life of the daily grind. And, to top it off, the management is great! They've always been very attentive to things that we need, and the one time I had to call in a work order, it was completed within an hour. If you're looking for a place to call home, then this is definitely the ONLY place you should even consider! My only regret is that we didn't know about this place when we first got married.

Advice is to check out the apartment before and DEMAND (you'll probably have to do this at least 3 or 4 times before it actually gets done right) that they fix anything pointed out in the first walk through. <br><br>I was advised that I should not expect "brand new", well duh its an apartment. I do feel paying $600 or more should entitle anybody to at least a DECENT/CLEAN looking apartment!<br><br>They also do not totally repaint the apartment after a 3 month lease. My carpet when I moved in was completely coming unstapled from the floor and frayed when I moved in and will probably be the same when I move out. We litterally have to walk around the nails sticking out of the floor!<br><br>Beware!<br><br>

Living at Old Farm Shores a Terrific experience
Living at Old Farm Shores was a terrific experience for me. I lived there for five years...the office staff is very professional and friendly, always trying to improve the grounds, making sure to keep up maintenance and rotation of the appliances. They also offer automatic debit for your rent, which is really convenient! The lakes are very soothing after a hard day at work... Iv actually seen some serious fishing going on there - even in the winter

Very nice & homey environment
I have lived here over 15 years and love the home I have made here. It is quiet and well maintained, and the residents best interest is always considered. The lakeside setting is lovely and very peaceful and you can even fish right from your deck! Great office staff....and if you need anything....itýs done immediately. Very impressive!

I LOVED LIVING AT OLD FARM SHORES!
OFS is a wonderful community to live in, with great amenities, like the 3 large ponds which are loaded with fish- bass among other things- which are respectfully fished "catch and release" by the residents. The pool is very nicely landscaped and tucked away... you feel like you´re at your own private resort, with two tennis courts within eyesight. Also, the club house is quite elegant for private parties, and those seasonal community gatherings. The landscaping, and "natural setting" OFS is located in, makes for a serine living experience. It has a great location in Kentwood, and is close to the airport, and the I-96 freeway via the new hwy-6 connector. You couldn´t ask for a better management staff than Holley and Amy, and their maintenance personnel always responded timely and performed good work. I met a lot of great people while living at OFS, and have made some good friends for life. I highly recommend living at OFS for anyone looking for an apartment or townhouse! <br> <br>"Johnny Jump Up" <br>OFS North Shore <br>

Enjoyable, quiet, and spacious!
Everything is excellent except the smaller size of the washer and dryers. I am used to full size w/d so I may be partial. I feel very safe here and am not worried about living alone. Plus, I have brand new appliances!!

Awesome !!!
I would recommend this apartmetment complex to anyone. Although it may cost a little more than others- the old saying, "you get what you pay for" definitley holds true here. Outstanding place, outstanding neighbors, a pleasant balance of personal and professional with the staff. You won´t find a better place around. A truly TOP CLASS place to live. Sorry I ever moved. <br>

The most beautiful apartment complex in Grand Rapids
Old Farm Shores is a treasure. It´s a wonderful feeling to wake up, walk out of the bedroom, look down the hallway through the slider to the huge balcony...and see nothing but lake. Very sooothing. And the view in the dead of winter? Wow. The stars glisten off the ice and snow-covered lakes, and the porch lights of the surrounding apartments make the whole scene look like a Normal Rockwell (or Thomas Kincaid) painting. <br> <br>The neighbors are all polite. And I never, ever hear them. These apartments are well constructed and virtually noise-free. <br> <br>The grounds are nothing short of gorgeous. Well tended, picturesque and smack dab beside a very nice bike and running trail that runs for a couple of miles in either direction. <br> <br>I´ve lived in dozens of apartments in half a dozen other states. No apartment complex even comes close to Old Farm Shores. Even the staff is the sharpest, most friendly I´ve ever met. <br> <br>There are two kinds of apartment-dwellers in Grand Rapids: Those who live in Old Farm Shores, and those who wish they did.

Awesome Place to Live!!
I have lived here at Old Farm Shores for over a year. I am in a 3rd floor studio with loft and love the floor plans. We have 3 stocked lakes to fish in, a very clean and private pool, a walking path and located in a very clean, safe and respectable neighborhood. We have pool parties that the office throws for us, a beautiful clubhouse on one of the lakes and awesome veiws. very cool place in general!! <br> <br>hope to see ya by the pool soon :) <br> <br>Eric Van Zegeren <br>2149 sandy shore #304

Awesome place to live!!!!!!!!!!
Old Farm Shores is an awesome place to live! I used to live at Walnut Hills Apartments and let me tell you it is night vs. day! Old Farm Shores is a very peaceful community, set back in a well kept up neighborhood. The staff is very, very nice and helpful. If you have a problem with anything, like furnace shut off or security issues or wanting them to fix anything, they are right on top of it, usually a half hour or so after you call them. All the apartments are on small lakes which is peaceful and serene. At Christmastime they had a party for all the residents and we played games and they gave out prizes and we had lots of great food. And in the summer they have a BBQ for the residents at the outdoor pool. It´s a very tight knit community here. The apartments themselves are very charming and homey, with fireplaces in most and balconies or patios. Very spacious and plenty of storage space. I wish I would have found this place sooner, instead of living in a craphole like Walnut Hills. If you´re looking for a peaceful, nice, well-kept up aparment community to live in, Old Farm Shores is place you´re looking for. I would recommend it to anyone!
