Larry is 1 of the maintenance guys here & he's the greatest. He's knowledgeable, thorough,pleasant & respectful. I completely recommend him for any job. I had chipping occurring in the tub & he was on top of it. He kept me informed, let me know what he was going to do & followed thru.

The Greatest Community to Live in

This is the greatest place to live! The office staff is soo friendly Bobbie Jo, Brittney and Yesie. They are always thinking of thier residents. Maintenance is fast and efficient. Clyde is always smiling and ready to assist in any way. I truly enjoy living at The Shores of Roosevelt Park!

Very responsive staff!

Move-in was made SO easy by Yessenia, she made moving from out of state an absolute breeze. I had originally chosen this apartment due to the rapid responses from her and am so glad I did. I was surprised that she even remembered my cats name when I came to pick up my keys! Maintenance is just as great. My sink was fixed by Clyde in less than 24hours from my initial request, and I love that they leave behind a document explaining what they did to remedy the issue. I’d definitely recommend this apartment complex.

Larry is a great guy. Quick to respond to maintenance issues and always happy to help. Been nothing but impressed overall with The Shores of Roosevelt Park. Maintenance is the Best

Friday on May 9th, they arrived early to complete my request and Yesenia in the office helped me schedule this as well. They replaced my outlet in the kitchen and checked my stove,that way I was able to cook up my favorite non soggy, crispy chicken recipe in the oven. And that made me so happy and just in time for mother's Day! Thanks to them for helping me and others!

Great experience with maintenance

Called maintenance in to fix my issue with the heat in apartment, Clyde M showed up a day later and fixed it within 30minutes, he also noticed a door that was messed up and fixed that as well. 10/10 experience

Replaced Kitchen Light

Our kitchen light had burned out and even though it had snowed 6+ inches, he went to Home Depot to buy a new bulb as it required a weird bulb. He made time to come fix the light even with all of the snow removal that he was also working on.

Clyde III and Stan carefully worked together to repair a tricky electrical outlet/wiring issue in the kitchen. I have strong gratitude and respect for these gentleman, for they not only fix additional issues while they are here, but there are dangerous risks involved in dealing with electrical problems in general. Please know how grateful I am for you!

Clyde was entered to recaulk bathtub, inside top of window frame, and replaced light bulbs in bathroom as well as stove and microwave. He was very professional and efficient. Highly appreciate the team at this facility! I put in a work order for some electrical problems centering in the kitchen. In just 2 days, Steph E. and Clyde M. III showed amazing customer service. Great Place to live, plus bonus pool and fire pit!!

The staff is great here, Bobbie Jo and Kristin are awesome and go above and beyond to help you out. Maintenance is quick with responding to work orders. I think the staff is great and they look out for their tenants! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new home! The pool is a great place to cool off at and the fire pit is relaxing.

Free heat, pool, great staff, close to store work and stores. the building is kept clean and in great shape. i plan on living here along time couldn't find a better place to live! its a nice neighborhood to live in when you don't have a vehicle as everything is so close. Perfect walking distance all year round!

I love this place! Bobbie Jo Pulsifer and team have done a very nice job setting a pleasant tone and atmosphere for the property. I have a larger then average 1 bedroom apt. Very roomy with better then average sound proofing. Swimming pool and fire pit are an added bonus. Washer and dryers in every building, there's so much to like here! If you are looking I would highly recommend it!

I've been a resident since 2010 and have seen a lot of changes over the years, and not all have been positive. Firstly, the management staff seems to have a high turnover rate. Make of that what you will. We've been through atleast a couple changes of the people who own the buildings too. When I first moved in we didn't have to pay for water or garbage, but now we have to as well. The grounds are decent. Some of the parking lot lights don't work and haven't worked for years. Despite rules saying you can't smoke or have dogs, you must pickup after them there's still cigarette butts and dog poop everywhere. The dumpster overflowing with trash is also a common sight. The locks on the doors seem to break all the time also, but that's probably more from sabotage from some of the scummier element that lives here than anything. There always seems to be an issue with the water heater too. There are washers and dryers but the price to use them seems to go up year to year. We pay via a card which is seemingly convenient instead of needing big piles of change lying around, but the terminal to load the card is at the other building which is annoying. I would like one here at the Henry street so wouldn't haveto travel, but that's a minor gripe. The staff is a mixed bag. As I said people come and go so it's hard to get attached. I've had negative experiences with them. We used to pay with checks, and had checks lost at least twice in my time here. Both times I was responsible to paying *again* which I don't think I've should've been. Now we pay with these cards or via a mobile app, probably because people's checks "mysteriously" got lost too though I have no proof of that. Seems a bit odd to me that this change was made shortly after a check I wrote was lost but still cashed, but here we are. The new payment system is far from perfect. It glitches a lot, and from time to time your payment hangs in the ether for days, leaving you sweating bullets because I wouldn't put it past them to make you try to pay an unnecessary late fee. I would rate the staff as somewhat unresponsive. I've rarely had an issue to address but I would postulate only half of my calls or e-mails get returned if I don't make several attempts if the issue is serious enough. The maintenance staff seems pretty good, but again turnover rate is pretty high and I've seen guys come and go over the years. This is far from the worst place I've lived but there is is definitely room for improvement.
