Love it here!
We have lived here for almost two years and already signed our new lease. The staff is wonderful. They know us by name and have gone out of there way to make sure we're happy. We have had to call maintenance a couple times and they have come within 2 days. The grounds are well kept. There were some problems after the big snow but it wasn't any worse than other places I saw. Overall we are thrilled to live here!

Amazing place to live!
Just under 1 year ago, I was worried I wouldn't find a decent place to live. I did some research, called some people, & made a list. Summit Ridge was on top of the list because that's just how it turned out. I came here & went through the tour. To make a long story short, I signed the lease that day! I've never, ever been in a such impressive complex. There's a place with a high pressure hose where you can wash your car, a mini-gym, computer room, & many other things that make living here great. The apartments themselves are spacious enough for all your needs. It's quiet & the staff provide excellent customer service. There was a time when I needed something fixed, which I mentioned to the office one afternoon. When I came home at night from work the next day, that problem was fixed. To the naysayers about the snow clearing; if you're too lazy to shovel your own snow where you parked your car, don't blame the complex. If you had a house, you'd have to do it yourself anyway. The complex did a fine job clearing the snow considering they have a very… See More>1/2/2017

Amazing Apartment Complex
Summit Ridge is a very well maintained apartment complex located close to everything you could need. The apartments are very light and spacious with lots of storage space. The staff are very nice and are always willing to help with anything you need. Any maintenance needed is always responded to quickly. The facilities such as trash removal, laundry room, computer room, gym, volleyball court and pool are a huge advantage and are always kept clean. Would definitely recommend Summit Ridge Apartments!

My home away from home
I just moved in 3 weeks ago but everyone here is friendly and the grounds are beautiful. My new job has me working late and it can be hard to find a place to park close to my apparment at times in the evening but other then that they have everything and then some that I could ask for. They have a business center and I'm typing this review there now. Its too cold for the pool at the moment and I haven't found the time to use the gym yet but it looks very nice. I hope to make good use of both in the future. The apartment is very spacious and I never hear any noise from the neighbors. I've not had any maintenance issues yet but I certainly don't expect that to be an issue.

Loving my time here
I moved in in Dec and have nothing but a good experience since being here. The parking could be better, but all the other things here make up for that. The gym, the workout center, computer room and hopefully will get to enjoy the pool this summer. The staff are more than helpfully and very nice to answer all questions that one might have. The rooms are huge and very nice. I workout at night an feel very safe walking around the complex. I have had a very pleasant experience living here so far and look forward to the rest of my time here.

Left my lease early
I actually stopped paying rent, knowing that I was planning to move. When I first moved in, I was pleased. After just a few months, renters started moving in that would be up all night playing loud music, beer bottles were left on the stairs shattered, I saw my neighbor in the front of the building having sex on the balcony comming home one day....drugs were going on, I had no clue who lived in my building any longer! Cops were consistantly on the property all of a sudden after someone was beening chased throughout the complex by the police. I did not feel safe at all! I did make attempts to inform the office, but after I did, someone tried to kick in my door! Do not move here. I was very dissapointed!

I can't wait to move out!!!
My lease is up in Feb and i can not wait to get out of this place! The apartments are nice but before we even moved in the carpets and the place was suppose to be clean. Our move in day i opened the door to see that the carpet was DIRTY. I only got oh i am sorry i don't know what happened!! Come to find out the carpets were down to be cleaned a month after we moved in. So after I got all of my stuffed unpacked and put away i had to have them cleaned so now there is parts of the carpet that is messed up because it didn't get streched like it was suppose to. I didn't get anything but oh sorry. I should of known then what i was in for. I pay almost 900 a month and still has to worry about getting stuck in a parking spot because the snow is not being plowed. Also they tell you when you move in that NO ONE will come into your apartment without notice to you. And twice i had a maintenance person… See More>1/2/2017

Dont move here!!!
Ever since Fogelman took over this place sucks! The snow removal is non-existant. They only plow the main roads a little. I had to shovel the walkway infront of my door. I shoveled my car out then got home and some idiot PT Cruiser took my spot. I pay over $700 a month for this??!! Had 2 breakins in my building in 2 weeks. Hardly ever see any maintenance around anymore. They have gotten CHEAPPPPPP!! Seriously snow removal at Pheasant Run was wayyyyy better than this place. I will not be renewing my lease...I cant wait to get out of this place.

Pick Summit Ridge apartments!!
i have been here at summitridge for over year and just recently signed another lease. the apartments are spacious and and very we;ll maintained. I was able to have our dog with a small deposit. I love the fact that i can call and tell the office that i need something done or fixed and they are right on it and send someone to attend to it. The staff has always been very nice. This is a very nice community to live in. I would reccommend it to anyone.

Summit Ridge Review
This is my second time living here at Summit Ridge Apartments. I love these complexes, close to highways, food, grocery stores, everything I need in one area.Clean, nice and decently affordable. The managers and people are so nice here and very helpful. I have always had my questions or emails answered in a timely manner. They have alot of social events put on to get to know your neighbors. We have a nice pool area, gym, indoor basketball court, beach volley ball areas. Lawn is always cared for and property is upkept always and clean. I feel safe walking through the complex at night and neighbors are pretty much respectful of each other. This is a nice place to live and I would highly recommend Summit Ridge Apartments Maeghan Dey-resident

Perfect First Renting Experience
My husband and I have had a great first half of our year here at Summit Ridge. We struck an amazing summer deal on our rent which saves us tons of $$$ a month. Also, since my husband is an artist and we love color, we were very excited to find that you can paint the walls any color you want while you're here (as long as you prime them back). It makes the apartment look so much more like a home when a complex lets you paint. Even more, it was one of the few (affordable) locations with some homey accents like crown molding and judges paneling in the dining area. When we moved in we did have a couple small issues. The refrigerator leaked and got really icy on the inside, and we found out one of our bedroom windows had not been caulked very well at all. It was separating from the wall quite a bit, and that wasn't going to be good for the heating bill. However, once we made the complaints known, it wasn't a week before Summit Ridge took care of each issue. Everything has been perfect with the apartment's condition ever since! We can't speak… See More>1/2/2017

Nice First Apartment
I actually found this complex on this website, and although it did have a low score, it was still the highest score in the area. I also have known a handful of people who have lived here over the years, and they all had great things to say. The leasing staff is always very helpful, respond quickly, and never act as if my questions are a burden. As a first time renter, I am not always sure what is grounds for the management to step in and help, but I do feel like they go above and beyond. I feel safe here, as well, because they do background checks and have a screening process for residents. Parking is never an issue, and most importantly, my apartment feels more like a home. Overall, I am very pleased with my first renting experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Very Pleased!
My husband and I moved to Summit Ridge right after we got married in June of 2009. So far, we have been very pleased with the level of service and quality of our apartment. Of course, most apartment complexes have their downfalls in terms of quality, neighbors, and previous renters, but we have few complaints. Any repairs or needs are addressed within 24 hours, and they always check to make sure we are satisfied with the work that was done. The girls in the office couldn't be more helpful and courteous. I like to think we have built relationships with them, and they always go out of their way to help us. The price of rent is very reasonable; however, we came from big-city living where we were paying $1300 for a one bedroom, one bath apartment and are now paying just over half for double the bedrooms and bathrooms. The complex is conveniently located to the highways, downtown Lee's Summit, shops, restaurants, and fitness centers, and we have had fun exploring the community. Also, I think it's really neat that Summit Ridge has taken on a charity to support and sponsor; I have… See More>1/2/2017

Review from Sarah Hongerloot at [email protected]
For the most part, the Summit Ridge Apartments are nice to live in. With the change in management from AMLI to the current owner, don't seem to be ss sharp about keeping up the grounds and seems within the last year, the types of residents accepted are the same type of people or lower class citizens. Therefore, thoe individuals, I've noticed, tend not to be as conscientious of doing their part to exercise consideration and not leaving trash behind. Some of the differences between the AMLI and new management, I recognize, are in their control and others they are not. Overall, the office staff are pretty friendly - always treat you as a member of their community family and that is a plus. Just disappointed in the crowd of people they've been renting to in the last year. For the amount of rent paid each month seems high for the lower than expected standard of living.

I am not happy with the property as I was when I first moved in to add to my disappointment is the snow removal. I'm sorry what snow removal? It was horrible I could have paid a couple of young men to do a better job. You would think with the amount of money I pay I wouldn't have to shovel my own driveway (oops! again their driveway I'm renting)one would also think that plowing the complex would be a given I suppose it is if you don't intend for it to be done right or actually enable you to leave the complex with any amount of ease. I renewed for an additional 4 months but I can pretty much assure them I leaving after that time. The rent is way to high for the number of inconveniences.

Best move ever
My husband and I sold our house in July in Warrensburg and moved to Summit Ridge apartments. No more mowing the lawn, no more home repairs. Our apartment is the perfect size. The staff is friendly and check on us to make sure everything is OK. The community is nice and quiet, clean and maintained. I highly recommend Summit Ridge apartments.

Fears Put to Rest
After having been a homeowner for a long time the move to an apartment was filled with trepidation. My biggest fears were lack of privacy and the noise level. After living here for a little over a month, those fears have been put to rest. This is, for the most part, a very quiet community filled with respectful neighbors. The leasing staff assisted greatly in making our move trouble free and the 2 very minor maintenance requests that I have made were taken care of quickly. All in all my wife and I are very pleased with Summit Ridge and, provided nothing major changes, are in no hurry to leave.

I just moved into Summit Ridge Apartments in Lees Summitt, and I have to say that I'm very happy with the management staff. They were all very helpful with the move in process. The apartments are very spacious and clean. There is plenty of storage space which is nice if you have some stuff you need to store. Overall I believe this is an excelent place to live.

Very Nice Place!
I really enjoyed my stay at Amli/Summit Ridge. It truly felt like I owned my own home. I really like the fact that I had my privacy and didn't feel like the manager was always in my apartment. The apartment itself was nice and roomy and beautiful. The only small issue I had was the huge drafty window in the bedroom. I didn't complain to management about it though. The staff was absolutely the best. There was always someone there to help me when I needed it. (To the Staff) - You are all doing a wonderful job keeping the grounds looking nice. :-)

Great Place to Live!!
We looked at many apartment complexes before deciding on Summit Ridge. We have since been VERY happy with our decision. Our apartment was the perfect size for me, my fiance and my son. I had many guidelines that I didn't think would be met for picking an apartment. My first, a washer and dryer in the apartment. Second, a large kitchen. Third, plenty of space for my 2 year old boy to run around and play. And last, a nice big bathroom with larger tub. I was so happy to find that Summit Ridge met and exceeded all of my requirements. And to top it off, the amenities are top notch. The pool is big enough for lots of people to swim, and yet still not be crowded. My son's favorite is the sand volleyball court where he and my 2 nephews can go and have a great time. The entire staff is kind and respectful and go out of their way to make sure every need we have is met. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

Declined Info
I have called several times, emailed and sent it request for information on the website and I have NEVER received ANY information about this community. I am saddened because when I drove around the community and looked at their website I thought it looked nice and something that I was looking for. I don't understand why they never got in contact with me to give me information about their community but they have time to respond to comments on this site? I just don't get it. Thanks, but I will keep looking elsewhere.
