They can send maintence around to board up one of the only two doors in and out of the building, but they can't fix the one broken step at the same door. Don't expect these people to fix anything because you will be waiting as long as our oven is old. What you should expect is for them to borderline threaten you about the carpets though. They neglected to tell us that they will charge us 3000 dollars for it, until we had moved in of course. My advice is to look for somewhere else unless you're desperate. I'm also mentioning that there are a lot of positive reviews because at one point the complex offered each tenant 200 dollars off of a month of rent if they posted 3 reviews to different sites. Then they asked you to send them the links to each review that you made. We've moved out and they sent us a massive bill for appliances that were broken when we moved in, and that they refused to fix, and also for keys that we returned in full. DON'T RENT FROM THIS PLACE THEY CAN AND WILL BLEED YOU DRY. Literally only if you are desperate and don't mind the consequences of renting from these people.

Good deal for the price. Had a bit of trouble with the lease being lost but was quickly resolved. I did have my vehicle gotten into once, but I left it unlocked. Its quite enough that I forget that there are other tenants in the complex. When the pool is maintained its pretty good. The mailboxes are not clearly marked and are in need of repair for some.

Markwood is great and has been improving ever since our new manager has started here. She helps make sure the tenants are taken care of. Maintenance used to never fix our issues but now if I have any issues it's only a text away. This apartment is great for students or people looking for a cheap option.

Staff is very gracious. If you tell them what's wrong with your apartment, it's fixed within two days. I am very satisfied. I never see my neighbors. If I do see them, they are courteous and say "hi."

Markwood Apartments has been the only place I have had the pleasure of working with and I feel very secure with them. They have undoubtedly exceeded my expectations! Not only was it easier than most to find information about the property before I moved in, but the staff I have come in contact with have been an absolute dream! They take care of any issues or concerns I have brought to them promptly. Definitely will be recommending them for anyone looking for a well-managed nd maintained apartment complex.

So far it has been a good experience! Affordable and they are understanding! Respectful and it is close to everything. The property is well kept and maintenance try their best to assist you with any problem you might have.

Good location and good price. Great view of the cemetery. Maintenance is a little bit slow but overall it's quiet and close enough to downtown and Missouri State. Close to restaurants and a nice park. Great places to walk.

The place is affordable and mostly quiet. I've enjoyed living here for the most part. The apartments definitely look better on the inside. The main issue is we havent had stable management at this complex. Hoping that'll change soon! And security around the complex needs to be upped.

Have lived in Market Street Apartments for 2 years now. Laminate hardwood floors give the apartments a nice feel and good look. Apartments are affordable, convenient with in unit laundry and included utilities and internet, and great center city location.

We really enjoy living at Markwood! We have a 2 bedroom, and it is such a nice space. The Wooten Company has been so helpful through the apartment hunting phase to help with maintenance of our home! We had trouble finding the right place, but we are so happy here!! Plus they are pet friendly!

I love this community because it is centrally located to everything!! Just about anything is just a 2 minute drive away!! My dog absolutely loves it here as well! We enjoy all the people in our community and the property looks amazing!

The apartments are well kept and my neighbors a great and we look out for each other. The grounds are well kept and maintenance is always quick to fix things. The do a great job keeping the riff raff away.

The best thing about this community is that it is super laid back and feels safe. The staff is very professional and the neighbors have all been nice. The apartments are very well lit on the outside and the pool typically isn't very busy.

My apartment is so nice and the rent is very reasonable. Also maintanence gets things fixed fast and are very helpful with anything I need. Also very close to Missouri State which saves me a lot of gas and I feel safe where I live.

This is going to be my 2nd year living here. I love it!!!! Location is great, the grounds is very well kept up with. Management is always wonderfully nice and super helpfull! the pool is a plus, my kids love it. Everyone is always so nice and friendly. Super affordable, I love living here!

Great management, I have been very pleased with how quickly and readily the manager is to respond to help with any questions or concerns. Excellent location, close to downtown, MSU, Drury and OTC, as well as a Walmart neighborhood market within walking distance.

The property has an awesome landlord, Isabell is very helpful and nice. It's always well kept, and the pool and laundromat are always a plus. It's very quiet and an all around pretty great place to live. Would recommend

Location is amazing, fits all needs. Pet friendly, park down the street and Walmart next door. Great property. Apartments are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly, helpful and help fix things when there are issues. Laundry and pool on site.

Markwood is filled with friendly people, employs a good staff, and has lots of beautiful dogs. The grounds and units are all well maintained. The location is perfect. It is central to town, close to MSU, downtown, a grocery store, and a park. Have been here for years, and plan to stay longer.

Great apartments that are super close to a lot of amenities and necessities! Landlord is super sweet and is very accommodating! Maintenance staff are great at what they do, and they usually come through rather quickly. Right across the road from a gorgeous cemetery and park! Wal-Mart is just a stone's throw away and I most often walk there as opposed to driving. I would definitely recommend!
