I have lived at Rosewood Village for several years now. I love it here! The office is always super accommodating, the maintenance team is friendly and timely. The courtyard is clean and a great place to enjoy the sunshine! I have looked at other places, but you just can't beat the price, location and amenities.

I dont like being cooped up in the house but i also dont like to drive far. But rosewood is right in the middle its the perfect distance away from shopping, parks, food and theres a walmart just down the road from here! Maintenance guy works so hard to keep all residence needs happy! He is literally the coolest guy too. Everytime hes outside he will never fail to send a smile and a hello your way no matter how busy he is! The management is always here when you need Her and she works hard 5 days a week to keep up with everyone and always lets you know when things are changing! My neighbors are very quiet. Never hd a problem with any of them. Some have dogs but i have a dog and dogs will be dogs and bark every now and then but ive never had a problem going to bed at night. Everyone respects each other here and im pretty glad that its chill and peaceful day and night I seriously couldnt be happier and im glad i renewed my lease for another year!

I've been living at the Rosewood Apartments for the past three years and overall I would say I've had a very positive experience. There has been a visible effort to improve the conditions and quality of these apartments by the owners since I've moved in, and it shows. Maintenance staff is quick and efficient when I've put in requests to have something fixed or addressed, and management has always been friendly and eager to help me with whatever I've needed. The other tenants I've talked to have been very polite, and other than an isolated incident that occurred several months ago, I've never had an issue with noise. My rent price has barely increased from what it was in 2015, which is great. The walls are a little thin here, so sometimes late at night I can hear people talking or sleeping, but that's relatively rare. I would also prefer having my own washer and dryer, but there is an on-grounds laundromat right outside my door so it is not a big deal. Rosewood is also very close to a number of convenient locations such as a grocery store, post office, hair salons, fast food places, etc. that I enjoy easy access to. I would definitely recommend Rosewood for just about anyone looking for a 1- or 2-bedroom apartment.

My favorite thing about this apartment complex is the courtyard it feels like it's secluded that's one of the reasons I picked this complex. Price is the other one. A nice place for a low cost everybody is friendly too.

Hi guys. I've lived in Wooten company apartment that Rosewood Village for four years. I love living here because the service is very good. Also I have a laundry and drier in my unit which makes my comfort perfect. Also, the neighborhood is very safe, quite and calm and the backyard of village is very clean. The most important thing is the rent Rosewood Village is not very expensive. There is a pretty nice pool and in the courtyard grills that you can enjoy any time if you have time. I like that we have 24 hour emergency maintenance and free high speed internet. I also like to see little puppies running around. Finally, I'm thankful for my building management and stuff for providing us a safe and affordable home.

Brandy is so awesome. She knows the struggle is real and is willing to work with you. The internet is included with the apartments and it is so amazing. I would've given it 5 starts but there's always room for improvement.

My wife and I have lived in the Rosewood Village Apartments for a few years. Since we have lived there, we have a 4 different property managers but the current manager Brandi and lead maintenance worker Brad are awesome. I have called with issues in the apartment and around the complex as well and they act fast to take care of the problem. We just renewed our lease for another year. Great customer service now than it has been before. Because of Brandi my wife and I are renewing our lease and it helps save money.

This complex is good for the price. The grounds are kept clean even though it's pet friendly. The maintenance staff always respond in a timely manner whenever I've had to call about any issues, which weren't many. Yeah the appliances are older, but it's an apartment. If everything is working, why complain?

Overall Rosewood wasn't too bad of a place to live. The apartment manager was relatable and reasonable, and the maintenance guy Jason, is an absolute hoot. Never once did I see a bug, and if I reported a problem it was fixed within 24 hours 80% of the time. There were two things about this complex that really ruined it for me, but from what I could tell, management was working to fix it. First was the community. This complex centers their marketing around college students. It's near campus, not any elementary schools. I was woken up four times last summer at 7:30 in the morning by screaming children. Not only were the children ALWAYS at the pool, but their caretakers, a bunch of middle aged toothless cigarette toking waffle house waitresses, talk loudly on their phones and can be heard from the next building over through closed doors. This one particular woman NEVER stopped and I seriously couldn't escape it. I even went to the park a few times because I couldn't listen to it any longer. I never sat on my balcony or went to the pool, just to avoid these people. Oh, and the amount of drug dealers in that complex is just appalling. Last, the amenities are totally misleading. The laundry facilities are $1 wash and $1 dry, but don't wash anything important in there. Someone had washed a tube of red lipstick before me and it ruined my bedding. Yes. I did cry. Oh, and they're half the size of normal washers and dryers. The internet isn't functional, and partial utilities is a lie. Expect to pay $20 a month for trash, water, and gas. The grounds are pretty, the staff is nice, and my apartment was always clean. Never had to call in a noise complaint, but beware of A) drug dealing teens B) weird neighbors, and C) Paying for your own internet.

I've been a resident here for about a year, and it's been okay. The community is fairly clean and well-kept. The maintenance guy, Jason, is really cool and helpful. The new apartment manager is pretty nice in person, but the tone of the correspondence that she leaves on tenants' doors is poorly-worded and borders on hostile. There have been problems with vandalism in the laundry facilities and the pool; however, those issues are addressed promptly. The major problem with these apartments doesn't really have anything to do with the staff, but the amenities that Wooten advertises that these apartments have. First, the apartments are advertised with "partial utilities paid." This is not entirely true. Water, sewer, gas, and trash bills are divided amongst the residents in the complex and residents are billed by a third-party service provider. So, even if you don't use a lot of water or gas, you could end up paying more than your fair share if several residents in the complex do use a lot of water or gas. Second, the free high-speed internet is horrible! We are told that it will hopefully get better, but it hasn't happened yet. The internet was running pretty well for several weeks before Memorial day weekend, but then a couple of complexes were unable to access the internet for most of Memorial Day weekend. The provider didn't get us back online until around noon on the Monday after Memorial Day weekend. To make matters worse, whatever they did to "fix" the problem made it almost impossible to get online to perform even the simplest of tasks. The problem is, residents are being charged more, but aren't getting all of the amenities that we were promised. The solution given is, "Get your own internet;" however, residents are not given a discount on rent if they get their own internet. So, if you get your own internet, you are basically paying for the same amenity twice. If you are looking for something inexpensive, you might want to look elsewhere. You can find apartments that don't offer internet, and pay about as much as you would here to get decent internet. Plus, you wouldn't have to worry about paying more than your fair share for water and gas usage.

I lived at Rosewood Village from March 2012 to July 2014. I spent the 1st year in a 1 bedroom 1 bath and moved across the hall to a 2 bedroom 1 bath the second year after I got married. I was very happy with this place. They were very clean. It was pretty good the 1st couple months. After that, a new manager took over who then hired a new head of maintenance. Any issue I had was resolved very quickly. The new manager immediately began upgrading and "nicing" up the grounds. It was good before but It is very pleasant now. I had a few issues such as a thermostat controller going bad, a stove burner quit, etc. These were all minor things. What I was impressed with is how quickly and problems are taken care of. I would report it in the morning and it was fixed before I got home from work each time. Both apartments were freshly painted and very clean when I moved in each of them. My refrigerator died and a brand new one was in its place the same day. The head of maintenance is very good at his job. You can go right to him and tell him what the problem is and he finds a solution quickly and he does it neatly too. I really enjoyed my neighbors and the community there. We only moved a house so that we could accommodate our children who are going to school here in Springfield now. We needed room for all of them! We still go back to visit our neighbors there. For the record, I lived in building F. I would definitely recommend Rosewood Village to anyone wanting to get the most for their money. It's the kind of place you would expect to pay more for. The location in Springfield is perfect.

This place is horrible! Massive bug problem and when they are coming to spray bugs they give u a one night notice to move everything away from walls and out of cabinets. Also if you like using an air conditioning unit I highly suggest not to live here it freezes up every 2 hours and if you try to call maintance they will never get back to you. Lastly I paid for my rent and gas through check and had a copy of te check proving I had paid bt they have tried to charge me double at least 3 times! DO NOT LIVE IN THIS ---- HOLE!

I lived at Rosewood for a little over 4 years. The apartments are decently sized and have old appliances (70s). Parking here is pretty good. You never have to park too far away from your apartment, although there are times when it is difficult to find a spot that isn't in complete darkness because once a street light goes out (which is surprisingly more common than you'd think), it doesn't get replaced for months. Or even at all. The grounds are decent usually. Just don't walk in the grass because there are always piles of dog crap lurking all over. There is a pool, but it's located in the middle of the complex therefore having no privacy whatsoever. Maintenance is usually pretty good about getting up to fix problems. In my 4 years there, I only had to remind them about two problems. They are usually prompt and can easily diagnose problems and fix them. Construction is average. It's about what you'd expect to find in an apartment complex built in the 1970s. Even though the complex is old, I never had any major problems with appliances or fixtures. They've gone through a LOT of managers since 2008. The current one is Justin and he is a nice guy. He seems to be willing to help in any way he can. The BIGGEST issue I had with this place is that they don't seem to care that people live there and actually want to get some SLEEP. I work overnight shifts a lot and would return home at around 5 in the morning. During the summer, they would come by with a weed eater and trim the grass right under my bedroom window as early as 7 o'clock in the morning. It wasn't just a one pass deal either; Sometimes they would come by with the weed eater up to 4 times in one morning (over the course of 2 hours usually)! I understand doing things like this early in the morning because it's cooler, but is it really necessary to do it at 7 in the morning. Is it really that unbearably hot that they couldn't wait until say, 10 or 11? It's not just the weed eating and grass mowing that occurs at ungodly hours. They recently rebuilt a lot of the awnings that go over the doors to enter buildings. At 8 o'clock in the morning, they were out there hammering away, loudly dropping pieces of wood, chatting with each other, and (this is the kicker) BLASTING music from a radio. AT 8 O'CLOCK. You better hope no one around you moves out of their apartment while you're still living at Rosewood either, because they will start doing their construction on the empty apartment at 8 sharp. Hammering, scraping the floors, dropping tools, loudly running up and down the staircases. It's really ridiculous. They don't open the damn pool until 10 o'clock for noise reasons, but they can hammer the holy crap out of the apartment adjacent to yours for HOURS starting at 8? Makes sense, right? They woke me up at 8 am with their loud hammering every day for 3 days. The second day, I went to talk to them about the noise and was told, "It's going to be be a few more hours" with the least amount of empathy ever. This guy didn't even pretend to give a flying crap. I asked him if he could try to keep it down, to which he agreed, but when I got back to my apartment, the hammering continued at the same volume. My anger was rooted in the fact that I paid good money to live there and was pretty much completely ignored. I know you're running a business, but it's a bad idea to treat your current customers badly just to bring in new customers. And speaking of rent money, when I moved in the rent was $370. It steadily increased, usually in increments of $5 or $10, every time I renewed my lease. Overall, it's not a terrible place to live, especially if you don't mind being woken up at 7 am. I'd recommend looking at other places to live in Springfield first. The only reason I moved to Rosewood was because all the other apartment complexes I looked at were full at the time. So basically, I didn't have a choice.
