Loving Life at Presley Uptown – Amazing Team & Community!
Presley Uptown has been an amazing place to live! The building is always clean, the amenities are top-notch, and the location can’t be beat. Huge shoutout to Colby, Samuel, and Alexa—they’re always friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond for residents. Highly recommend!

Location
I recently toured Presley Uptown and was blown away. The location is perfect, the amenities are stunning, and the whole property feels clean, modern, and well-maintained. Definitely one of the top places that I have seen in Uptown Charlotte.

Wonderful property
The amenities are beautiful, I love the location and the property is perfect! Highly recommend any of the team in the leasing office and everybody is sweet! the resident events are fun and have a good variety as well.

Going on my 3rd year at Presley Uptown. I have seen many employees come and go, some handle the property better than other but as a whole, I loveeee Presley. Its pretty quiet and clean for the most part, minus some of the weekends during the summer, lots of ppl moving in and out and parties of course. Very friendly neighbors. The main reason I chose Presley is due to the dog amenities. They have 2 dog parks and a dog run in the back. The location of the property is perfect, 5-10 mins from all the major areas in Charlotte. I have recommended Presley to friends and Family and some have moved in and also love it!

Nice and very affordable yet still not worth it.
The price you pay vs what you get is NOT worth it. Management doesn’t take concerns serious, you’re just another rent payment until your lease is up or until you’re fed up. Anything can happen to you and/or your property and management hands are always tied. They do not care about residents.

Recently I have seen multiple car windows smashed in the gated parking lot. A friend also had their car broken into in the guest parking lot. Things need to get better secured. The front desk told me they couldn't do anything about the break ins.

Overall I think this is a great apartment complex and even though it is older compared to other complexes in Charlotte, they have been updating their facilities and rooms. They have great monthly activities and are in the perfect location. My only negative comment is that is seems like things aren't working often (e.x. package room tech, elevators, spin bikes).

It has its pros and it's cons. The cons are broken coffee machine, broken gates into the resident area parking garage, issues w the trash and keeping it tidy, issues w the pool maintenance, constant issues with the package room, residents disrespecting the common spaces by not picking up after themselves or their pets, my apartment could use more shelves and/or storage, and packages being stolen out of the package room. Despite the cons, the staff usually work quickly to remedy the issues. On occasion, it is inconvenient. Pros are the common areas, the coffee (when it works), resident events (even though I don't usually attend, I like the option), the gym is always clean, the janitorial staff do a great job keeping the common area and elevators tidy, the maintenance people are effective and personable, the location is great, and the apartment's interior are nice.

I would not consider this property a luxury residence. The location is ideal, being so close to uptown. Monthly events tend to be unique and enjoyable. However, however, however! There is truly a lack of consistency from management. Ongoing issues with pet waste in the halls, stairwells, and outside. Pet feces will sit in the same spot for days pending cleanup. Management will only threaten to charge residence found in violation, doing nothing to prevent future violations. Management collected DNA from each registered pet. There is no excuse for the level of waste violations. Both pet parks are poorly maintained, covered in feces and dirt. I don't use them most of the time. Waste bag dispensers are often empty. Fresh mulch is placed once, maybe twice a year, leaving dogs to run around in mud and feces for most of the year. Numerous break-ins to cars and the mail room have been reported. Most recently, an individual forced his way inside the mail room with a crowbar to steal packages. Management failed to notify residents timely and did not share a photo of the individual(s) to bring awareness to the community. Management's response to the incident was an email, sent days later, stating the individual did not seem to be armed or dangerous. It should be known, a crowbar is considered a deadly weapon. Management instead, blamed residents for holding the door open to others when entering the building. Ongoing theft issues happening inside of what should be a secure garage. The garage areas contain no cameras. No pro-active security onsite. There is a security service that will respond when called, normally after a crime is already committed. I don't feel safe here. Majority of resources seem to have been allocated to renovating the lobby and clubhouse area instead of insuring the property is secure and safe. Gym equipment is incomplete and outdated. The weight rack is missing vital weights for a decent workout experience. The on-demand workout projector has not worked since I moved in. The elevators, doors, and garage gates are unreliable, breaking frequently.

Everyone's very friendly and the staff is great!! Really enjoying the three dog parks. The Apartment are very nice and the gym is as well The gym is well maintained snd the class offered are very helpful.Also really like my large balcony and view of the pool.

Nice quiet apartment building. Pretty clean for the most part but needs new carpet in hallways. Parking garage situation has improved since beginning of 2022. The construction around the building on the roads is most annoying part of living here

I've lived in this building since 2017. It used to be managed by Greystar and the upkeep and amenities were AMAZING. Then the building got bought by JLL and they used another management company called Rangewater and EVERYTHING went downhill. The grounds are never tended to and the mulch is completely gone from all the areas outside of the building that are supposed to have mulch (which means mud everywhere), the lights are the outside of the building are broken and are never fixed. They turned the "game room" and bike repair center into a place to store junk, the garage doors ARE ALWAYS BROKEN, call boxes do not work, the signs by the parking area were vandalized and never repaired, Pool used to be nice but now they do not enforce any rules on who can be there so I really hope you enjoy a gigantic frat party atmosphere, beer spilled in pool water, and not being able to sit down anywhere because anyone off the street gets in, there's hardly any residents there because it gets taken over by people who don't live there. It's AWFUL.. The building looks run down compared to how it used to look and frankly I am embarrassed to bring people over to my apartment because of how poorly managed the building is, it looks awful. Management in the office is extremely unprofessional and constantly brushes off complaints or issues that need to be repaired, even when the issue affects the safety of the residents. They minimized their hours and no longer are open on Sundays which means your packages are just left in the lobby where anyone can take them. The safety of the residents of this building is never taken seriously. The doors to the building constantly get broken, the lobby doors were wide open a few times during the night and the locks were broken, the stair doorways to get into the building are always open and no longer have alarms that work and do not lock. This entry way is directly off the street, so anyone can get to any apartment in the building from that entrance. We've already had one murder in the building a while ago, but that doesn't seem to phase Rangewater from taking building security seriously. The garage gates always being open because they're broken means anyone can get access to your car if they walk in from the street. Also, they no longer tow people who don't have a parking pass so hope you get home in time to get a spot. If you don't there is no place to park close and once I had to stay with friends because I came home to no parking spots, and the building full of cars who are not residents. They didn't care of course. I've only stayed because I've been here so long so my rent is lower than if I were to lease somewhere else brand new, and I do enjoy my view. I really miss Greystar managing the building because they did an incredible job.

Basically, when you do a tour they show all these different amenities but once you sign a lease and start to notice things you quickly realize that's just a selling point. 1st, the parking deck doors constantly break, the call boxes don't work and serve absolutely no purpose so if you have company there's no way to let them in meaning u manually have to go get them or let them in compared to majority of the other apartments uptown that have functioning call boxes or let u unlock doors/elevators through your phone. They never fixed the door that was crashed into & the door is unlocked AT ALL TIMES giving anyone access into the building which isn't fair to people who don't want anyone getting access to their door. None of the TVs located in/around the amenities work and they serve no purpose, meaning u can't watch cable on it because the cable isn't hooked up properly OR the tv just doesn't work, they just like nice on the wall. The pool area day beds have covers with ridiculous stains on them and desperately need to be changed. They advertise a game room in the lower area near the parking deck but there's clearly no game room there, just an empty room with junk in it. gym equipment is busted and some of the things don't function properly and for the year I lived there they never got them fixed. the lobby is nice and the apts. are spacious and not small but they advertise these things and don't correctly offer them as they should.I don't need to be contacted, as I'm certain these are factual things because I lived there, but to be fair to future tenants, these things need to be corrected ASAP.

Awesome staff who were extremely helpful and guided me through the rental process. I was able to find the exact apartment I wanted at a price I could afford thanks to the great customer service help. It was overall an extremely easy process and the apartment exceeded my expectations in every fashion.

Presley Uptown is gorgeous through and through. The community is safe and close to all of the stores I go to on a regular basis (Target, Trader Joe's, Marshall's etc.) and the commute to work is now very easy. The staff is professional and polite, and they are more than willing to help you with any inquiries you have.

There are great amenities at the Presley! And the list of them is slowly grow. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has prevented us from truly experiencing all there is to offer, such as the social spaces. My biggest issue with the building is the lack of space for guests to park, as we are allowed to rent out spaces in the building for events, but there is no adequate spaces for guests to park. I highly encourage a partnership between the building the owners of the partially used parking lot next door.

Presley Uptown apartment has a very welcoming and safe environment. It's location in Uptown Charlotte is very convenient and within minutes you are able to access shopping centers, grocery stores, and restaurants.

I have lived at Presley for over a year now and I have loved every second of it. There are even more perks to living here than I originally thought, you get a great location in the city, awesome amenities, but also the leasing staff is friendly and helpful and the maintenance staff is prompt and can get what ever you need done quickly!

The apartment is really nice and office staff is attentive and friendly. Everything pictured online is what it is in person. I even put in a maintenance request and they came 30 minutes later. I have no complaints.

I don't have any complaints. I move in was flawless, and I switched to larger apartment it was flawless. I love my beautiful view and the staff is amazing. The staff is always helpful and we have the best amenities .

The Presley Uptown is a luxury apartment community and its amenities are in line with other apartments with the same description. I have consistently had awesome service from the leasing and maintenance staff here. The complex is noisy given its proximity to the hospital and the fact that it is right on the road, but not a dealbreaker. Love the pool and gym area.
